  After hours of reading and checking to make sure I had good things enabled, I did, I gave up and uninstalled the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, they gave me and re-installed and later I had my friend get on Messenger and we tried games and it worked this time.
  For some strange reason when I updated it took me 3 tries before it took. So even if he told me that it has been installed, apparently it wasn't really. Just goes to show you that you can not trust what you see.
  What has really scratching my head was I went to Internet Explorer 8, which I never use more and discovered you can now get Mozilla plug in slip out there and when I did showed that same Adobe Flash Player is outdated but it was to a different version. Not knowing if it would help, I installed a new too and he said it was his understanding that it does not.   Well, I don't think that it is possible to play games Windows 95 to Windows 7.

  1. When you mention "install a second operating system", are you referring to the installation of a program, something of the stature of the virtual XP 95 games?

  In this case, download and install Virtual XP , from this link and run Windows 95 games that is better equipped to manage the games for windows 95/98.

  2 Alternatively, are you referring to the installation of an operating system to dual boot?

  I have a hp Pavilion dv6-3131tx with switchable graphics (HD Intel and AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000 series card graphics card), and after the upgrade to Windows 10 all my games have been slow. I thought it was because of the HARD drive space I did a disk cleanup (including system files that I decided that I wasn't going back to Windows 7). After doing this, I decided to fiddle around with my chart (on two cards) options to maximize performance.

  However, now most of my games opened with the sound in the background, but it's a completely black screen. Looks like everything works well in the background (even the mouse pointer works and is in the shape of the pointer of the mouse of games) but it's just a full black screen. This seems to only happen with demanding games like a racing game or a sim as Sim truck or train sim. Other games such as spintires and miami hotline works very well. I could literally find nothing similar to this problem online and I really hope there is a fix for this!

  I have to mention also I tried to turn off my map graphics Intel HD in Device Manager when I was trying to figure out how I can make my ATI card my default card, because I'm sure that my games were run on the Intel card as they all seemed very slow compared to when I played on Windows 7. After that I disabled it my screen was almost entirely black, but I could just, just, what I did and managed to the reactivation of the card. This form almost entirely black happened also when I did the opposite.

  Update: it seems when I put these games to use the games I have (the Intel card) power saving trouble with work fine (less shift because she is able to save of course) so it's a problem with the ATI card.

  Also, I had a PC trashed by the upgrade of Win10 - because the upgrade tool does not detect the switchable graphics in advance and prevent the upgrade.  The good news is that MS has finally stopped by pushing people to do the upgrade of Win10.

  Check the system requirements for the game. Satellite A300 is not a high-end gaming laptop and maybe some new games couldn't work on this laptop.

  Maybe you need to reinstall your laptop with the Toshiba recovery disc. I put t have another idea so try and post your result.

  I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 view a month ago and since then I had problems. I'm going to play a game like Left 4 Dead 2, World of Warcraft, counter-strike: Source, etc and I suddenly freezes.   The first suggestion that Aziz has is not the map upgrade but for the driver update.  After the upgrade to Windows 7, you must update all the drivers for your hardware (graphics, sound, NETWORK, card etc...).  The best way to do it is to go on the hardware manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers.  If you have a name brand PC (Dell, HP, etc.) then they usually all drivers for the hardware, but some (usually the drivers graphics) is perhaps not the most recent.  First, make sure that your drivers are up to date and then test the games. So, my windows is up-to-date.  I am very frustrated and I really need help. I really miss my old games. Could someone please help me as soon as possible.

  It s a fact while playing the games the CPU and any other devices works with maximum performance. In this case all devices produce heat much and the temperature rises.
  If the cooling modules not run successfully if it possible of s the device freezes or stopped without any warnings.
  In my opinion, you should check the fans and try to clean it with a vacuum cleaner.

  I updated my BIOS about three months ago because I had problems with ati2dvag.dll, and that seems to have solved the problem. I tried every fix I could find for this particular BSOD including change the driver for my PCI bridge to PCI. Only the BIOS update seems to have who cured for good.

  However, I have since discovered that I can't watch DVDs on my laptop, or play games with 3D content. I use WinDVD for watching DVDs, and it keeps bringing a message telling me to lower my screen resolution or to change to a lower refresh rate. However, when I do that it still does not play the DVD.

  Trying to run a game (in this case Lemmings Revolution), the game started to load to a black screen before giving me the error message "not detected 3D accelerator.

  Any help would be welcome, because I can't work out what to do!

  Start the DirectX on you laptop.

  Click Start - open 'RUN' - type dxdiag
