  You mean, you want to copy the original DVD movie to HARD drive?
  Well, you can copy the contents of the entire DVD to the HARD drive. It means that you have to copy a lot of data.
  I would recommend shrinking the DVD movies using a tool called DVD shrink.
  It would decrease the data and would also copy the content to the HARD drive.

  But if you want to use these files later in windows movie maker, so you must convert these using a 3rd party tool.
  Google a bit and you should find many free applications that would help you to do this work.

  Moto EM330 for AT & T. is it possible to play a video file on this unit?  I have a memory card of 2 GB in there, it is recognized and I can play MP3s I copied in the folder "music" on the memory card.  I see there is a 'video' folder as well, so I guess that's where they would go.   OK, possible solutions... commutation of the memory locations (one for recording a video for phone to memory card and the second to view the video of the location of memory card)

  It is likely that the various files contain the CODEC, that are either not installed on your computer, or PrE is not able to use them.

  You list several types of files, and I urge you to first see this FAQ entry, then get one of the utilities file info, related to it, G-Spot, MediaInfo, or MediaInspector, then view the details on the different CODECS: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/440037?tstart=0

  In the documentation, you will notice the for exportAsXFDF cPath parameter to specify a path and name of the file to save to.

  First Pro, After Effects and Media Encoder will recognize sequences of images in a video file as possible as long as they are named in sequential order.  For example, if you have a set of image files named "Test video Footage-# .jpeg. where # is replaced with the number of each image, then first and other image which will treat as a film element.  When you import images, there is a checkbox in the dialog box import indicating the sequence of images.  If this is not available, then first is not recognize the structure of naming as being contiguous. Media Encoder and After Effects have similar dialog boxes.

  I have Sony camcorder DCR-TRV520E and in the past, I recorded several movies on my laptop.
