  Ok. So first check the box that says 'Immediately validate the selected value' under the drop down properties, tab Options, and enter this code as its custom validation script:

  If (event.value == "A") this.pageNum = 1; Go to page 2

  If (event.value == "B") this.pageNum = 4; Go to page 5, etc.

  Adjust the values and page numbers, as required.

  I have 2 drop down menus both with all menu options drop down same (choice).  About 80% of the time the drop-down list

  dropdown2 value will be identical to that of dropdown1, so I want to pre-fill dropdown2 with the value of dropdown1 but also allow the user to choose a different value for dropdown2 if they need to.

  I know that I can popluate dropdown2 the value of dropdown1 with the custom calculation script following;

  Event.Value = this.getField("dropdown1").value

  This fills the field very well, but the user cannot choose one different value other than in dropdown1 if necessary.

  In my efforts to understand this out is to see that a SWITCH command can be useful, but I don't know how to use the command correctly, or if it is the best way to go.

  I was afraid that you would say that, because it complicates things a bit. You must have a way to indicate that the user makes a selection in the second drop-down list box. You can use a global document variable for this. To set up, add a new javaScript to the document level (Advanced > Document Processing > Document JavaScripts) that says the following:

  Option indicating whether the user has changed the value of combo box 2

  var cb2_changed = false;

  Make sure this code is outside of a function definition. You can call the JavaScript to the document level you want (for example, "init") and remove the skeleton of function, it provides by default.

  Next, add the custom script after typing for the first drop-down list box:

  Get the value of the selected user

  Get a reference to the other combo box

  This code assumes that combo box items have the value of exports and that they are identical to the combo box 1 and 2. In addition, select the 'Value selected to validate immediately' option for the two combo boxes.   Did you create this folder in the Menu folder bookmarks?

  If the folder is created in the unsorted bookmarks folder, then you won't see it in the bookmarks menu.

• How to add my drop down menu on my site

  I followed a dreamweaver video to create a dropdown menu with pure css which turned out to be great.  My problem is when you follow a video I followed the instructions and started a new html and then attached the css styles to the new html called "dropdownmenu.  But as I don't know how to put it in my index page.  I understand that css is the rules but how to I get in my website.  Most of the prob an easy one for all what you experts out there!

  Forget the folder 'drop-down list' - as a space for experimentation.

  Add another link in your index under the link page to your styles.css css main as below:

  Now copy the HTML menu on the navMenu.html page and paste it into the index page where you want the menu to appear.

  It is not uncommon to have two or three linked css style on one page sheets.

  I inserted an Electrolux (Bullseye Locators) reseller on my business through HTML Web site. When you preview in a browser and try to use the Locator, the results appear, but because it is a drop down with the results, he pushes in fact all content below down and I get a white space between the Locator & content.   You can use a custom validation script, something like:

  Event.Target.Display = event.value = "choose"? display.noPrint: display.visible;

  To put this into effect, you will need to make a different choice and place it back to "choose." Another option would be to place as a custom Format script.

  Because we are not allowed to the VCAC SDK, I am forced to use the workflow integrated calling my master workflow VCO.  My problem is that I have just rated provision which limits me to expose my configurations for each model.  An example of what I need is sales will have 40 configs while Finance has 10 configs.  I don't want their options in drop-down list to bleed over to other.

  Well well, without knowing your particular use case and what are the variables, then Yes, maybe. I have more than 70 IaaS models right now, but I have ~ 20 profiles of construction. Nothing gets actually configured in the action plan itself except for material-specific values and model of vSphere being used for the provision of... All the news of real form is in building profiles. It is much easier to control that.

  At one point, I thought together to the bottom of each environment in a single model and have the o/s to be a configurable drop-down list, but finally I decided against that because I'm driving both the metadata information to be recovered vCAC and operate only vCO as a runtime engine. I wanted that little data hardcoded / fixed stored in vCO as humanly possible, so I build battery funding round have as much of the required inputs be stored in vCAC or vCenter, keeping the absolute minimum in vCO.

  I have a page that contains a table reading on the left and a form of the ADF on the right. With a modifiable display object, the tables and the form were built simply dropping them on the page. I had a problem with the partial trigger where the form on the right do not reflect what I selected on the left table.
  
  Things are going very well now, except when I click on the 'New' button with the selection on the first line of the table, there are validation message saying "error...". You must enter a value. ». Now, it is not totally wrong, but annoying. In addition, my company uses wouldn't ;( Strange thing, that is, if I select 2nd row of the table and click on the 'New' button, I don't get the commit message, as I hope, the shape is empty and waiting for new data.

• Cannot select text in the drop-down menu after you have installed Indesign CC2015.

  I cleared the cache of police, I have re-installed the whole program and I checked the other apps for similar problems, there are none. Not really sure where to go from here.

  As a work around, I am able to scroll through the list and make your choice with the keys on my keyboard. Not really ideal if!

  No, if it works in another account we need not the test Mode without failure.

  Make sure InDesign is closed, then:

  See replace your preferences for the paths to the TWO hidden folders where the prefs are located and rename or delete them in the original user account. A copy of these two entire folders, not only the content from the account that works and stick to the appropriate locations in the account which is not.
