How to recover my windows?

When I installed windows 8 I lost my original windows 7. Later, I found that I was using a pirated version of windows. Now, I want my windows 7 Original back. When I bought my Lenovo Ideapad Z570 it came with original windows 7. Is there anyway that I can get back my original version of windows?

Hello

Thanks for posting your query to the Microsoft forum. I will definitely help you with this.

Given that the product key for Windows 7 provided with your computer, contact your computer manufacturer for a replacement. Contact information for the manufacturer of your computer can be found here:

Once you have the product key, you can either downgrade to Windows 7 If you Windows 8.1 was an upgrade or you can clean install Windows 7.

  • How to recover the Windows Vista operating system on laptop

    I have unix opreating system in my laptop (exhaust). First of all I can get all my documents and application. Secondly, how can I recover my window vista opreating system. Please give me your advice.

    * original title - how to get back my window visited opreating system *.

    Programs must be reinstalled from the original media: CD, DVD, etc..

    Save your data on external hard drive, Flash drive, etc...

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
  • Portege R930-C086 - how to recover the Windows 8 serial key?
    I have Toshiba Portege R930-C086
    my hard drive is broken, I lost all my data and the original windows 8
    so I want to buy the new HDD, and I want to know how I got my windows 8 key back?
    I don't want to buy the new windows 8.
    Each laptop comes with preinstalled operating system also preinstalled recovery media Creator called tool. This tool can be used to create bootable recovery DVD or USB media. This recovery media can be used in case this recovery HARD drive installation procedure no longer works or if the HARD disk fails, as in your case.
    I presume you didn't create this media, right?
    Is that you can order the original recovery image but is not free.
    More information, you can get the Toshiba service provider in your country.
    I don't know if you can order it on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx but please check.
  • How to recover deleted Windows 7 fonts without making a system restore
    Hello
    Last summer, I deleted a number of fonts Windows 7 I knew I was never going to use. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted some I really wanted to delete. But I let it pass in time. Now, I wish I had some of those back that I accidentally deleted (for example Baskerville, Californian, Goudy).
    I searched the previous discussions on this subject, but none (which this one: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-files/location-to-download-accidentally-deleted-fonts/b43a8d76-2889-41f2-be0c-9e7c27e2cf30) helped. That the thread is on the removal of thousands of additional fonts, do not restore deleted fonts Windows. And responses here especially suggest more drastic solutions that I want to do (System Restore [that would change too many things I've done since the abolition of the police], reinstalling Windows) or suggest other programs to remove additional fonts and back to default values, which are always present for opus (I have download the Powerpoint Viewer who did indeed) (, restore some of the fonts I lost, but not all of them.)
    In any case, my problem is more in line with this thread of a person showing last year. http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-files/location-to-download-accidentally-deleted-fonts/b43a8d76-2889-41F2-be0c-9e7c27e2cf30
    This is exactly my problem. Unfortunately, the response of the MVP is very helpful. The site 1001freefonts.com has obviously NO premium fonts in Windows 7/Office 2007! (Wouldn't an MVP already know that?)
    But my question is basically the same as the OP is that thread: there is no place where existing OS licensed users go to download the font files and then install themselves?
    I mean, if MS is able to verify a valid property of an OS of Windows when running the various updates, why in the name of all that is logical doesn't it not provide a link to re-download deleted Windows fonts for valid users?
    So, is there a way to retrieve all of the fonts in Windows 7/Office 2007 without the drastic system restore or OS reinstall often suggested?
    Updates on how to deal with this issue? Any other suggestions?
    Thank you!  :-)
    There is no short way to reinstall the software that included the fonts or get lucky and find the fonts desired on the web somewhere.  This is a list of fonts that did not exist in Windows 7  Often fonts are installed by applications, so in looking at the list of available fonts is not necessarily tell you where each of them came.
    Why? It is almost never necessary. A good anti-virus program can almost
    always remove the infection. And often leads to problems with formatting
    as you have discovered. Even if you have no problems, it creates a lot
    work for you.
    so my original os is also lost in formatting.now im using, with windows 8 form, a service on the local computer, it is possible to recover my system to the scene when I bought it.
    If you have or can get a DVD installation or a recovery partition,
    Yes. Otherwise, no.
  • How to recover my windows 10...
    I recently had to change the hard drive in my computer that had my Windows OS 10. Is there anyway to recover my old 10 or do I have to buy a new copy?
    If your Windows 10 installation has been enabled, you can clean install on a new drive. There is no need to provide a product key.
    Use themedia creation toolto create the installation media for Windows 10 select Skip "Do it later" when you are prompted for a product key during installation. The re-installation should operate automatically.
    During installation, make sure to select the correct version - home or Pro - and the language, or the new installation will not activate.
  • Windows Live Gallery - how to recover a Windows Live photo and paste on website profile...
    I can be a complete fool here and tell me, what am I missing?  Trying to paste a picture in "profile picture" on the site, I agree to, I have 'Browse' files and cannot find or open anything in Live Picture window or the gallery and can only access to these photos when I get back to start, and then click Windows Live Photo Gallery and it is the image I want... still cannot access the site on which I want to paste when they return (online)?  Copying and trying to move original storage... place I tried can not understand it.
    Something to try...
    Open Windows Live Photo Gallery... click on the
    thumbnail of the photo you need and in the menu...
    choose copy.
    Right-click on your desktop and choose Paste. Now, you
    must have a copy of the picture on your desktop.
    When you browse the site... browse
  • How to recover old windows view photoshop cc?
    Hey all,.
    It seems that someone else must have asked this question at some point... but here it is again, because I can't find the answer! The old view of windows PS was exactly what I need. (the option for one or more views of the same file in different windows not floating, located in the menu bar of the Center. Mine is in 5.1). He is not here in PS CC (in view by default or any other that I can find, anyway.) I really need to have it so that I can view and compare several slightly different versions of work of a file side by side, one above the other, etc.. It is also the easiest and simplest way to slide easily content from one computer to another, in my humble OPINION, but it is not the biggest problem. Forced to work with floating as windows only option are not something I'm willing to do. It happened almost to a point where it is the biggest single problem who wanted me to move to the CC.
    Is it possible to bring back this old windows display option? It is difficult to believe that he would not--I can't be the only person who needs it for the best workflow - but who knows... All thoughts and info appreciated.
