To use this property node I invite you to follow these discussions: Zoom in or zoom out bitmap image & zoom image where the good examples are attached. You also have a KB on resizing image in LV and in finder of example of LV, you have the image control - Attribute.vi Zoom that I have attached to 8.6.

I'm editing 720 p video (.mov format, that's what my camera takes pictures, so I don't think I can change that). All I see when I right click in the source monitor is "quality > high, rough, automatic. Is there anything else that I can choose? (kind of in aftermath, where you can set it to 1/2, 1/4, etc.). I searched the internet for the better part of the day and what I found is that 'quality' menu I mentioned earlier.

  It is always very slow to look on the 'project', and it doesn't look like it's much more of a difference in quality. Now, my laptop isn't exactly the rendered beast that I wish it were, but it can handle 720 p [slowly] in after effects so I think it should work first too.

  CS5 offers specific options like 1/2 and 1/4.  Earlier versions offered only full, project and Auto.

  A new computer is probably in order.  Your link isn't a bad option.  (Even if you need to add at least two drives more.)

You should press and hold on the image a little longer and then when the backup or copy of the window opens, save the Image is on the bottom row, but you may have to slide to the left to reveal.   You described your situation, but this seems very strange.
  As far as I know, the laptop uses a 128 MB ATI MOBILITY RADEON X 1400 graphics card and this isn't a memory sheared graphics card!
  This card uses own 128 MB and must share main memory!

  I put t know why you suggested that you have only 512 MB.
  How did you test it?
