  If you want to reduce the file size of a PDF document, you must use Acrobat. If you do not have Acrobat, you're certainly welcome to try for http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html. Acrobat Pro, there are several options to reduce the size of the file, including the file > save as other > PDF of reduced size and file > save as other > PDF optimized.

  Look for ojdeploy coating in an Ant script, then call your script by Jenkins/Hudson Ant as a recurring task.  This blog previous messages of talks to the technique of ojdeploy-Ant:

  From your point of view development, get the ojdeploy-Ant scripts first work in JDeveloper, then expand to be called by Jenkins/Hudson.  You will need to install JDeveloper on the build server for this to work, so why you may need to adjust the Ant scripts for your construction engine, JDev configuration may be different on your build of your the desktop configuration server (although ideally you should standardize the JDev on your PCs of dev configuration and build server in my humble OPINION).

  I have a number of saved passwords for various non-critical websites such as this forum. Recently, I put a 'master' password to protect my saved passwords. Everytime I open a page that contains text boxes for the references that I saved I am asked for the password independently to know if I want to authenticate on the site or not. I would like to configure Firefox to open only the repository of saved passwords (lack of a term of dough) when I choose to authenticate on a site.

  p.s. I close Firefox (to clear cookies, etc.). So OFTEN simply unlock the saved passwords once a day and leave Firefox running is not an answer.

  You can only do this by disabling the password manager and only turn it on when you need it.

  • Edit > Preferences > Security: passwords: "remember passwords for sites".

  Under Linux, you can leave the Preferences open window to achieve more easily

  I usually keep remember passwords disabled and have a button in the PrefBar toolbar I use to quickly transform it power (signon.rememberSignons).

  I'm running into a bit of a problem here, and I can't find a workaround. I was hired to create a few small icons for a TeamSpeak 3 channel and my files must be 16 x 16 pixels and under 8 KB size, otherwise TeamSpeak will not accept the picture.

  I don't want to degrade the quality of the icons that I made, and the smallest I could get the file size was 16 k with 10 KB for JPG and PNG. All the icons are color. I can get a few simple icons to fall under 8KB, but there are a few others that I can't.

  What is the best way to reduce the size of the file on the small photos, and how to get the file size less than 8 KB? TeamSpeak seems to accept any image format, so pretty much everything is allowed. This one is over my head when it comes to small technical details.

  Open the Image in Photoshop, change the size or pixels according to the requirement.

  Then save for web on the file menu.

  You can choose the JPEG format.

  Reader can be used only to display files pdf so you can not perform any operation on it.

  If you have Acrobat, then you can go to Acrobat > save as other > reduced pdf file

  You can also go to Acrobat > save as other > optimized pdf and then click on "Use of space Audit" button to know what takes up space in the pdf file and adjust accordingly.

  I prepare images for the web and I really have 2 questions: one on gifs and the other on the jpg files.
  My standard procedure is to reduce the image to the desired at 600 dpi pixel dimensions
  It gives me a little crisp image. can I use this what if the file size is quite low (I try for less than 600 KB) or convert to gif with the save for Web and devices.

  Here are my 2 questions (I'll count this solved with each answer)

  (1) when I convert a gif that I have 4 boxes: one with the original size, the other 3 with options but, often, the options are too low resolution for me how can I change my 3 options starting with a higher res gif?

  (2) if I try to reduce the size of the jpg in the image size box I put the lower resolution (400, 300), which reduces the pixel dimensions and the size of the file, but I don't want to change the pixel dimensions. If I reset the dimensions in pixels to the size I want, even if it is a lower resolution that the file size does not change. How to reduce the size of the jpg file using only the resolution, the pixel dimensions not?  PS I tried to play with the checking and unchecking the 3 small boxes (scale of styles, constrain the proportions and re - sample) but nothing has worked.

  GIF is not a type of large file, especially if you want a sharp image. What are the dimensions of the pixel?

I wouldn't save anything less than 55%. For an image of 600 KB, the size must be large enough.
