  I also tried to reinstall Roxio of CD disc programs and Vista wouldn't let me do it anymore.

  My other programs all work perfectly, so I take it that it is not the executable file for these various programs that is corrupt, only the one Roxio.

  The MacAfee program tells me that I have no virus it can see.

  How can I remove this corrupt file/folder? Or at least stop getting this error message?

  I have converted the first column of the query as a link.
  
  with this I am able to display all downloaded files and passing the url in file id in the query, I am able to download all the files.
  
  How to remove selective files in this report? say if I have 5 files I want to remove the 1st third and one?

  do I have to use the link in the column or

  I have CS4, but if it's something like CS3, there should be a small icon menu at the top of the library that when consulted includes an option to select unused items.  You should be able to right-click on the selection and delete everything in the menu that appears.  I recommend trying on a copy of your file rather than the original... just in case.
