I'm afraid to tell you, but to do this, you will need to contact local ASP.
Because it's not easy or possible how you would do this on deskopt PCs.

That's why you have to take your ASP. Guys it can remove the password.

    Hey, quick question.

How can I remove the keyboard of the laptop inside to give a cleaning?

    Thank you.

    Hello

I read that it is not very easy
You will need to remove the CD/DVD drive first.
Then, you will need to use a plastic stick to push the back of the keyboard of the ODD housing slot. The keyboard should be pushed until it lifts the corner on the upper surface of the case.
Then using the same slice of plastic lever to insert between the keyboard and top box, then gently lift the edges of the keyboard until all locks are unlocked.

  • NVIDIA fx 5200 go Bios for Satellite Pro M30

    Hello world

I have a problem in my SP - M30, a few weeks ago, the screen only works in 640 x 480 x 256 and shows the black and white stripes.

I reinstalled the system, updated drivers, updating the BIOS of the motherboard, and also I tried to connect a monitor to the vga port (the problem persists then the computer laptop lcd works fine)

Now I'm updating the GPU Bios (if it is not the laptop goes to the trash), but I can't find a BIOS for this GPU, I tried to find it in the Nvidia page, but they do not provide the BIOS updates for their products.

Anyone know where I can find an update of valid bios for this GPU?

    Thank you very much

    > Now I'm updating the GPU Bios (if it is not the laptop goes to the trash), but I can't find a BIOS for this GPU

I never heard of BIOS for laptop s GPU.
Toshiba does not something like that. On the Toshiba page you will find only the graphics card driver and the common BIOS.

    > I reinstalled the system, drivers updated, update the BIOS of the motherboard, and also I tried to connect a monitor to the vga port (the problem persists then the computer laptop lcd works fine)

This statement is not clear enough for me. A connect the external monitor to the laptop? If the same problem is seen on the outside monitor then it s certainly and GPU problem and only replacement can help.

    Hello

It of not so difficult to remove the HDD of the unit.
Take a look at the bottom of the machine. In the middle of the left side, you will find two screws. You must remove the two visible screws and the little cover. After this process, you find another screw. Remove it. Now you can take out the HARD drive.
For more information, you must contact the service partner.

    Hello, Konan

On this forum, we discussed several times on the BIOS password.
Anyway, as you can see BIOS password is very important for the security of the laptop and access to the data stored on the laptop. BIOS password removal is a kind of very secret and may not be posted in public forums like this.

Many laptops in the world are stolen and blocked by BIOS password. It's easy to check some forums like this one and read how to remove BIOS password and unlock the mobile.
I hope you understand what I mean. Please contact the nearest authorized maintainer and let them remove BIOS password for you.

  • Satellite Pro M30 - error message: the user is not authorized to update BIOS

    Hello

I bought a Satellite Pro M30 of second hand. This one has the Bios 1.30... I would like to install the bios v1.70.

I am running Windows XP Pro SP3 and tried first update in Windows.
I however got the message "the user is not allowed to update BIOS.

This message is quite surprising given that I have administrator privileges.

I read that you can use a floppy disk to update, but I did not...

So, is it possible to update the Bios with the CD?

    See you soon,.
    R.S.

    Hello

I checked the page European driver of Toshiba and found the version of BIOS 1.7 WIN in the field of ARCHIVES.

As you can see, it's a version of BIOS Windows and not a traditional version of the BIOS (trad BIOS can be updated using the diskette).
This BIOS win can be improved only from a running OS Win.

In any case, I see that you have installed SP3. It could have a bad influence on the update of the BIOS.
Then maybe you should try to update the BIOS without SP3 installed?

Remove SP3, download the good BIOS, unzip correctly and then try to run the BIOS update file.

_Ps: If you laptop then runs without problem a BIOS update is not necessary! _

  • Satellite Pro M30 Bios Update

    Hello

I have a satellite pro m30 and I would like to make a bios update. Utility hardware Toshiba says that my bios version is 1.4. The existing updates see 1.2, 1.6, but it says nothing about 1.4.

    Should I take 1.6?

    Any help?

    Thank you

    Hello

It might be possible that the BIOS version 1.4 is the version of BIOS default manufacturer for this model.

In my opinion you should take the 1.6 version because it is the most recent and it may be necessary!
