  I have several movies I have on my iTunes account.

  So I don't think that they would be automatically downloaded on my hard drive. I just thought that it would be similar to the Iphone you might access via WIFI but not necessarily have downloaded to your device. I'm looking for how to remove movies from your mac on other forms. None of them have asked me.

  The movies have been downloaded via iTunes? Have you looked in the folder/Home/movies/on your computer? You can also check the folder/Home/music/and the other files in this folder to find the files downloaded.

  If you can find the films listed in iTunes, then select them and CTRL - or RIGHT click to select Remove from the context menu. We should ask if you want to move to the trash. Click on this option.

  I was able to import all the photos to the Mac with picture Capture and preview, so the pictures are safe, but neither app shows a way to remove photos from the phone.

  There is a very good reason we'll automatically remove what you use - if you have two files in the same directory, chances are you share the images directory.  If you make sure you delete everything in the images directory, you might remove something that has another project (or another HTML file) is dependent on.  It is very difficult for us to determine what is used in other projects, so just leave us the images / directory only.
