  • How to remove the password of BIOS on Satellite Pro M10

    Hi guys,.

I searched all over the web to find an answer, but has no success. So I really hope one of you can help out me.

I have a very old Toshiba Satellite Pro M10 with 512 MB in it. The laptop is protected by a BIOS password that I know. However, the problem is that I want to remove the password of BIOS completely. I know this isn't a big deal, but I find it annoying to type the BIOS password over and over again. Mostly because I am preparing this old lady for my oldest daughter. Furthermore, I just installed Windows 7 and it works well, but I have all the original software Toshiba, for example the HW configuration utility. I expect the download somewhere on the net, but unfortunately this is not as simple as that.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thank you

    Jeroen

    Hey Buddy,

It is easy to remove the BIOS password. Follow the instructions posted by Al - eX.
As new password just enter anything and then the password is removed.

I m wondering that you have installed Windows 7 on Satellite Pro M10. It is a very old book, and in my opinion Windows XP would be the best choice.
In addition there are no downloads available for this model and Windows 7 on Toshiba page

    Hi XB

Please don't get me wrong, but as a computer technician, you should know how it works.
BIOS technical removal cannot be discussed in public forum because they are authorized personal only.

The BIOS is very important security feature and many laptop owners using such method to block machines and access to the important data.
If someone here explains how BIOS password can be removed everyone can read and unlock some laptops stolen for example.

What I can say is that there are several different techniques, how BIOS password can be removed and it is not the same on all models of laptops.
What you need to do is to tell your customer or your friend that the BIOS password removal can be made by Toshiba service only so it should contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help.

  • How to remove the password of BIOS on Satellite S1800 - 752S?

Hello I have a small problem, how can I remove / reset the BIOS password on:

    Toshiba S1800 - 752S
    Model No.: PS183E-2YV9P-1W

    Help would be appreciated

I respect your opinion, but I put agree t
Always is that the BIOS password can be removed on legal way without the help of ASP
We are talking about legal remedies and not hacks.
I believe that everything can be hacked, but it's not the point.

The password of the BIOS was created and designed to ensure that only the owner of the laptop could access the laptop. This is why I agree with sascha and the Akuma, who has already said why BIOS password can be removed by ASP.

In any case, thanks for the info short that your mobile phone works well.

    Hello Kev

I fear that you will not be able to remove the BIOS password without special tools. I recommend you contact the nearest authorized service provider. For little money they will do it for you. They can do it in 10 minutes.

If you have need for addresses and phone numbers visit http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > support & downloads > find an ASP.

  • How to remove the password of BIOS on Satellite Pro A120?

I have a Satellite Pro with a system password, when I started, I asked Mr. password I was its power off for over a year now, because the number 9 key was stuck in position, so I couldn't even try to type a password.

Two days ago, I've corrected the keyboard. Now the system will just to the point where it asks for a password but I don't know anymore, I tried more than 40 passwords I've used in my past.

So I ve open. Removed the battery during the night. no use. I've read on this forum about the keydisk, parallel dongle. Don t have a parallel port, or floppy disk. I also read another post on this forum about a brand under the RAM that needs to be grounded and I found no such thing.

can someone help me please? There must be a jumper on the motherboard as well.

The system is a Toshiba Satellite Pro A120

    Hi Rob

I know that you are so happy to pay for it. Friend of mine has paid 60 Euros for the removal of the BIOS password.
Anyway, please believe me you can not do anything alone. Sascha is right when he wrote about the different ways for the removal of the password and your model has the worst. I mean it can't be deleted so easy.

Your laptop uses a sort, I'll call him, code stimulus / response. Service must send a code specific to the seat and wait for the response code. If the code matches the code deleted challenge the BIOS password cvan.

Thus, there is no way to be removed from your own.
    Sorry mate :(

    Hello:

Enter a password for BIOS 3 times and the PC should generate a code system off (stop).

    Then use this code and...

Please read the first post on the link below which should solve your dilemma.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-operating-Sy...

    Then...

    You can:

    1. use the unlock code you generated to enter BIOS

2 disable all passwords that are enabled in the Security menu of BIOS.

    3. If the request for current password - enter the unlock code

    4. for the new password, simply press the ENTER key

    5. repeat the same thing to check the password column.

  • How to remove the password of BIOS on Satellite 2450-101?

I have a Satellite 2450-101 and it seems that my HARD drive is already damaged. I would like to boot from the CD/DVD drive, but it won't start? It has a power on password too and I want to remove it but I can not enter or it does not penetrate into the BIOS settings?

What can I do? Any suggestions?

Am I entitled? You want to remove the BIOS password?
Unfortunately, something like this is not possible! If you n t the BIOS password you can not delete it! Only the ASP in your country could do this!

So if you want to remove it, contact the authorized service provider!

But you want to boot from the CD! Am I wrong? Why you t n try to use the F12 key to get the start menu?
After mobile power press F12 and you should be able to choose the STRANGE as a source of start-up! But the CD/DVD must be inserted before using this option.

    Try this!

    Hello Benmem

BIOS password removal is very important security feature and we can not debate on this subject on a public forum, especially on a support forum created by laptop manufacturer. In the past, we have discussed several times about this.

In such a situation, you should contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and they can do it for you. All I know is that Toshiba has several different methods for BIOS password removal.
