  • DeskJet 6840 - replacement ink cartridge

I can't replace the ink cartridge in the printer.  There is a vertical black plastic plate that prevents the cartridges from sliding forward.  This plastic plate has a sticker that has two images of what appears to be a start button - the one with an arrow pointing to it and the other with lines around her (indicating that it is switched on?).

The diagrams in the instructions of ink cartridge do not show this plastic plate.  Can someone tell me how to get the old cartridges, if I can put the new cartridges?

    Hello HennepinHistory,

It seems that the Servicestaton block cartridges. Normally this should move the traffic when you open the door to changing cartridge. Here's the catches which sometimes most people forget, the unit needs to be started, if the device is not placed on the servicestation will remain in place and cartridges is not possible. I would like to know if that was the problem.

  • Replacement ink cartridges

In early April, I bought a 6500 all-in-one to replace a 7410 with a broken paper tray.  During the operation I was given an address in Boise (Idaho) where I could send unopened to the 7410 cartridges and receive equivalent cartridges for the 6500.  On 20 April, I sent 2 cartridges.  On 26 April, I received an email from Amy Roberts, ISB team HP, acknowledging receipt of the cartridges.  Since then... nothing.  I have probably spent 8 hours talking to technical support and Customer Service and got nothing more than a run around.  Is it a scam?  Can someone help me?

    Hi Peter,.

I went with the person you mentioned.  Looks like she is in contact with you and the cartridges were sent.  So, not a scam.  Would it be possible for you to update your message when you receive the cartridges?

I have a photosmart series 7510 and when I open the cartridge door, the carriage does not move to the center of the product.

    Hi Penny,

So, it looks that the transport does not even move when you open the door of access to transport.  Is this correct?

Try to do a Hard Reset as described in the following link.  Click here  Who help me?

If this isn't the case, I'll share a trick that I used before work that usually.  Unplug the power cord at the back of the printer when the printer is still on.  After 30 seconds, plug the power cord to the back of the printer.  When you hear the moving, unplug the power cord at the back of the printer.  You should be able to access the transport of ink.  Let me know if it works.

    Good luck!

  • Printer inkjet Epson Stylus C 45 refuses to recognize refilled ink cartridge. How to solve this problem?

I have the printer inkjet Epson stylus C 45. When an ink cartridge Epson gets sold out and I replace this cartridge with an Epson cartridge refilled, the printer does not recognize this refill cartridge. As a result, no printing could be done. Is there a way to make the printer accepts the reloaded cartridges?

    Hi Pradip Kumar Bhattacharjee,

You receive messages or error codes?

It is a hardware problem. It seems that some printer settings must be modified to get the cartridge that is recognized by the printer.

  • Ink cartridge stuck?

I have a HP F2180 Deskjet All In One Printer.

I have replacement ink cartridges. (both compatible, I checked)

However, I placed the black cartridge on the left compartment that should have been the color ink cartridge compartment.

In addition, it is now stuck; probably because that I inserted while the printer is turned off.

Is it possible to get the cartridge out, I can't go out?

    Hello

Sorry to hear the problem with your all-in-one printer, HP Deskjet F2180.

The only way to get the cartridge in the color slot is to raise the cartridge from the top, be careful not to damage the tongue made of plastic or other parts of the unit.

In the attached picture you can see where the ink cartridge is striking and caught in the trap, you can insert the tip of a flat screwdriver and push the cartridge down while pulling with your fingers. Do not insert the screwdriver all the way or you can damage other parts.

    I hope this works!

  • LaserJet 1150: Laserjet 1150 problems after you insert the new ink cartridge

Hi, I am the owner of this very good printer for 10 years now.  Used only a single all these years ink cartridge (I use it only for work related missionery) with not a single problem.  When we bought it we also bought a replacement ink cartridge.  However, when I put in place the new ink cartridge, I have a problem of printing documents.  Each document gives me the same results.  I took it to the store of the local computer, which shook the cartrdige vigorously and I also ran the service option in the HP printer Toolbox. The guy at the computer said I need to print a lot of papers and see what is happening... what I did.  But the result in each impression remains exactly the same. The annex in the printed document.  Can we still do this ink cartridge work after having been stored for 10 years?  Thank you for reading my message.

You have a bad toner cartridge.  Given that this printer is very old, there is a lot new in the old box of cartridges of toner there stock.  Over time, the wiper blade will hurt comes from there.  Think that buy you a new toner from a big box store which should have new actions and you will come back if the cartridge is bad.
