My L520 brand new with Windows 7 Professional/64 bit (which happens to do more strong buzz that I can endure, so there need go back) doesn't seem to have this option. Of course I should have first installed rescue and recovery and saved everything?

  No documentation that I can find on the laptop or on the web does also appear to cover this.

  So: I'm already in a deep * beep *? Is there a hidden option to completely reset the L520 to factory settings (by crushing the BONES with a stored "image factory" to another partition or something?)

  There is no Vista free download legal available.

  Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
