Is that a simple Strawberry question requires a bit of work.  If you want to create a shortcut (for say, your browser) you have to find the file that you want to run (they will normally be in program files, or program filesx86)

Then right click on this file and click on create a shortcut.  That drag on the desktop, and you're done.

Loading of the toolbar can make the icon.

If you wish to make your homepage of MSN, and then when IE is started it will take you to MSN.

You can also make MSN Favorites page in IE - then go to your Favorites - right-click on the favorite MSN
then go to the desktop - Right Click and PASTE the SHORTCUT.

    Hello...
How to create a toolbar of shortcuts on the desktop

Unfortunately, this feature is no longer available with Windows 7. I was surprised myself so since Vista was fine with it, but in Windows 7, we all need to just get used to using the feature of the taskbar QuickLaunch. You can pin any icon you want in the taskbar and use it to your quick launch of this program.

    2. In the shortcut tab, change the option extended in the run section.

  • How to add a shortcut on the desktop for streets & trips 2013 for windows 7

Just installed MS streets and trips 2013, I do not see anywhere how to send a shortcut on the desktop. Tried to do a right click on the programs, but this option is not started.

I don't have the application under test, but normally you right click on the exe programs (or registering in the program menu) and either "create shortcut" or "send to" and then "desktop".

If the options are not there, your office, do new right click - shortcut, find your exe file of programs (the actual file you want to run) and and we should end up with a shortcut on your desktop to your program. (hopefully :-))

Hello. I am in eight Windows * with all sorts of problems. But right now, can someone help me add an outlook for lower left icons icon, so I can always find my mail, it must be down left, not on the body of office, because somehow the Office has now a thousand icons so on it, but it's another issue for another day... Also, I don't find a way to remove the preview of the email where each email is open before I open it. Honestly I can't yet figure out how to get a list of all the programs, the way you might in old windows, so you can just look at each of your programs and choose one. Thanks a lot for your help.

where can I get the shortcut on the desktop

I might have misunderstood your question entirely.

A longer sentence with a development could avoid this.

With nothing good to go on, my answer would be... you must create it.

Example: create a shortcut on the desktop of Windows Media Player...

Start button > all programs > scroll down the list to find Windows Media Player > right click it > click send to > select desktop (create shortcut).

A Windows Media Player shortcut is now on your desktop.

  • All programs list - moved shortcut on the desktop, but want to add back to the list of all programs

I moved a shortcut from the list of all programs on the desktop.  I would like to keep the shortcut on the desktop, but also restore on all programs.  How can I do this?  I tried drag-and-drop and Windows Explorer without success.  Topic is not found in help.  Windows XP Professional SP3.

the visual office includes folders and you can copy the shortcut via Solution Explorer.

simply right-click on the Start button and select open.

Explorer opens on the behalf of users.

If you look closely, you will see a folder called desktop.

    find the shortcut, then copy.

Find the folder of programs all then drill down to the subfolder you want and paste the shortcut in him.

You can also use the above method to organize your desktop.

Incidentally, do not play with the admin folder or all users.

Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.

You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type sfc in the search box, right-click to SFC. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.

Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

I hope this helps. Good luck.
