  I have a form that I need to build pages.  As it is now, I have a table in document and a drop-down list box.  When a selection is made in the drop-down list box, the StateAmt field is filled with the table.  This set works fine now, but I need to be able to make this code work with pages having engineered and need a bit of help.

  It's my javascript document:

  This works very well for one page, but when I add another page (model laid) nothing happens after you make a selection in the drop-down list box.  I don't know I need to edit the script due to spawning change the domain names on each page, but I don't know how.  I tried to rename the combo gState1 and using this script (which does not work)

  I fugured it myself. It works:

  I didn't totally understand the script and trying to change the wrong part.  It is still using the gState table and I needed to change the text box to get the information in the table.

• How can I delete a site to appear in my address bar drop down list?

  If you want to delete data in a drop-down list, and then use the following steps:

  1. Select an entry in the drop-down list
  2. Press the DELETE key (on a Mac: shift + delete) to remove it.

  Entries in the bar location drop-down list with a yellow star (blue on Mac) at the right end of the bookmarks and Scripture cannot be cleared from the location bar menu drop down with the delete key.
  
  You can delete this an item marked with a bookmark that appear in the list, if you open this url in a tab and click on the yellow star in the address bar.
  
  This will open the "Edit this bookmark" dialog box and you can click on the delete button to delete the bookmark if you want to delete such an entry marked with a bookmark.

• Drop-down list boxes & menu bar drop-down lists don't no projection in 32.0

  Just upgraded to 32.0 Firefox on my laptop under Windows 7 Professional, for some unknown reason, drop-down boxes on different websites and Firefox menu bar lists drop-down would not show. When you click in the drop-down boxes, blue they just (as usual), but the list would not show. Firefox menu bar drop-down list behave the same way.

  I restarted Firefox in safe mode and this problem does not exist. I suspect it's something to do with the "Default 32.0' under 'Appearance' (as it has been disabled in safe mode). There is no 'Disable' button visible to delete this sub mode. Obviously I can not remove this in SafeMode either.

  I hope you can help as no setting change made during the upgrade and it has become unusable (so go to Google Chrome in the meantime).

  It's the default theme, and it is not actually disabled mode without failure.

  I have never known failure except in two cases, hyperlinks.

  1. The target field is not in the printed document. It cannot obviously a link to something that does not exist.
  2. The hyperlink is a popup.

  Not sure what you mean by popups not working only not in a printed document. If you mean that links to these break, then see above. Known issue.

  I don't know why you are having the drop down list, growing problem of text that I didn't know that it is a problem either. Is it always the same drop down menus that fail? Have you compared a good drop-down list and a bad dropdown?

• How can I create a menu drop-down list dynamics that controls two separate drop-down lists?

  I could use help decipher how to control 2 separate drop-down lists ('b' and 'c') through the value selected in the main drop-down menu (that is, 'a').

  My script worked perfectly to control another menu drop down, however I can't seem to properly control the third zone.

  In my example below, what I'm trying to do is control 'Method - external' and 'Department - external', through my gout primary to the bottom of the list. The external 'method -' drop-down list works fine, it is the third 'Department - external' that I fight with.

  For example, if 'Theft' is chosen in the first drop-down menu, I want 'Method - external' to display the series points and "Department - external" to display a different set of items. If 'Cyber Crime' is selected in the main menu down, then the external 'method' - set items will change and the external "Department -" will indicate N/A.

  With the following script - no matter what happens if I choose 'Flight' or 'Cyber Crime' in the first menu drop down, 'Cyber Crime' n/d game elements are displayed in the external "Department -" drop-down.

  I apologize if this is hard to follow - it is certainly difficult to explain. I hope that my question came through.

  I have a drop down menu that fills another field according to what is selected (as shown here where Admin mistakes fills the next field with 6735-10-01).

  

  However, there are 3 items in the drop-down list that I don't want to fill in the other with (basically, it must be empty during one of these 3 elements are selected, in contrast to how it returns zero in the example below). I don't know what to put in for the values to make it white.

  I don't know what your code looks like or where it is but you will need to add a conditional statement, such as:

  If (DropDown.rawValue == "0" | ") DropDown.rawValue == "1" / * | "" etc, etc, * /)

  TextField.rawValue = null;

  on the other

  TextField.rawValue = DropDown.rawValue;

  I have a drop down list with 10 items in the list. If possible, would like for a selection in the drop-down list to populate a drop-down list with another list of selections. Each of the 10 points in the first list each will have a list of different options in the second drop-down list. I don't know how to build this solution.

  Hi Diana,

  You are on the right track. deleteItem is zero base; so if you want to remove the second point, it would be deleteItem (1).

  I would recommend a script similar to the output from the drop-down list, so that if the user goes back and changes the value, the same logic would apply. Also when you remove items from a drop-down list by using script, it is useful to addItem() again in the other part of the if statement. In this way, you can restore the list because the shape is changed.

  Also I would wrap the script in the numberField in another State to check for null first.

  Don't know what the code is supposed to do, but basically, you want to add the name of the drop-down list the addition on the current value of the TextField? Why not use the dropdownlist display value directly? For example on the change event:

  I am trying to create a timesheet in Livecycle to replace the current form I have in Excel. I'm still a beginner w / LiveCycle and this is the first question I've had for some time. I have problems that require a field based on a choice.

  In my excel spreadsheet when you choose the project, the customer: job field in the same row turns red, indicating that it is now a required field.   Exit the drop-down list with JavaScript as a language event.

  You can replace the domain names with the actual names in your PDF.

  If you want to enable compulsory you set property "error."

  to disable you set the property to "disabled".
