How to: return to Windows vista after upgrading windows 7

Original title: return to the window vista

How to return to Windows vista I have window7 languages with a disc, I got from someone it does not thank you phyllis baskin-bowie

Hello

How to reinstall Vista

Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

  • Unable to activate Windows Vista after upgrading the hard drive.

    install on HD replacement

HD crashed.  Bought the new HD 2 t.  installed Vista with system recovery disks.  Operating system will not work.  What should I do?

Unfortnunately - since it is a process of recovery provided OEM - only help you can really get is OEM themselves.

Windows XP can have trouble with the size of the player (depending on the installation media level of service pack that you use) or controller drivers.

Are you sure it was your hard drive crashed and nothing else has been damaged?  Could be a bad controller, bad memory even a poor diet.

  • Dell Dimension does not start in Vista after upgrade

A friend had a Dell Dimension E521 that won't start - has the missing file system\hal.dll.

As there was nothing on this computer, he needed, I rebuilt it install a new copy of Windows XP, used the upgrade disc closed for upgrade to Vista and ensured everything in its original package has been installed. Let him install the Windows updates at night and in the morning, after a reboot it indicated that there is an update available. I've updated that and restarted and he said there are only four more updates that memory on the video card. I've updated those, but now it does not start at the top.

I'm going through the boot process, but as soon as it is the screen black with the Microsoft Corporation and the (green?) bar he starts moving forward a very small amount, and then restarts. It comes up with the selection of Windows startup screen and I tried the secure boot and last good Configuration known without result.

I tried the original XP disc to do a repair, but this doesn't seem to work with Vista?

How can I recover a work computer or do I have to reinstall again?

Thanks for any help, that all the world can offer.

If you have installed Windows Vista good the first time that the hard drive should be fine however I would suggest running the Dell diagnostics just to be safe. To do this follow the instructions on page 405 of this document and perform extensive tests.

  • How to return to windows 7

Windows 8 has so many problems with my laptop and I want to go back to windows 7, especially because the preview has expired and it is time, I herd you need a disc my father back creates a with his laptop which is different than mine could I use it? If not what are the steps because I have no backup discs

You must make a return on factory reset. Note that if you save all the important things, it will be lost after the reset.

Your computer is equipped with a recovery instead of disk partition...

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...

For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".

You may need to try several times to get everything above to work. If after several attempts, you have no chance, or the machine indicates that there is no recovery partition, your only option is to contact the computer manufacturer and ask for the model recovery discs...

After the reset, you should get all the updates from Windows Update EXCEPT for hardware devices. Then, you install a good antivirus. ONLY AFTER you have done this, if you replace the stuff of backups or install anything else.
