How to scan several documents to save a pdf file?

I have a HP ENVY 4524 printer all-in-one Windows 10. I need to scan more than three documents and save them as different pages 1, 2 and 3 in a single PDF document.

How can I do this?

The screen on the printer gives the possibility of a computer and once the computer has been selected offers the ability to save as PDF, JPEG, e-mail in PDF format email as JPEG and analyze daily.

What is 'Everyday scan?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello

Please use the software on your computer to scan:

Double-click the icon of the printer on the desktop,
Select scan a Document or Photo,
The first page on the glass (face-down)
Check out the options (size, dpi...) and select scan the document to be filed,.
Click on Scan - machine will scan the first page
Delete the first page on the glass, put the second page,
Click on + (plus sign) it is located on the left side of a red x
Machine will sweep the second page, put 3rd page on the glass and click on + again... until the end and then click Save
Click done after save

Kind regards.

I have just recevided a PDF with 70 documents into a pdf file so I wonfder wht program should I buy instead of this joke. I f I only 12 pages, it is not a problem to send in the form of documents in an e-mail as I repeatedly, doen. Thank you

    Monica

    Hi monicaf5812809,

The Pack of PDF from Adobe allows only to combine 12 files at a time, but you can batch convert and then combine these files more wholesale/combined as needed.

The other option is to use Acrobat, which does not impose such a limit, because processing takes place on your desktop and not via an Internet connection. If you want to try Acrobat, you're welcome to-you can download a 30 day trial of http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.

    Best,

  • How can I prevent someone to save a PDF file

I have a PDF file that I posted on my site, I want to make available for people to see, but not being able to print or save (the document... file - record; file-save-as or another method).  I figured out how to disable the print function, through security - permissions (authorized, unauthorized printing), however, I was not able to determine how to disable the registration function. I realized how do to hide the menu and tool bars (Options Security - view initial - user interface), however, his inconsistent views of the user.  Recommendations?  Thank you.

Impossible. To view a PDF file, it must first be registered on the local computer.
If you want to limit who can open the file and he then discovered you need to use the DRM protection, which is very expensive.

  • HP 3511 scan several documents into one file

How to scan several documents in the same file to my HP3511?  I am running Windows 7.

This printer does not have an automatic feeding for print/copy/scan.  Is it possible to do without it?

Thank you.  I always do the printer instead of the computer, so that it is useful!  Unfortunately, it works to scan; However, it would still not save them all as a single file.  I went back and checked the advanced settings, and is not checked to create a separate file.  He has created a file for all 5 pages.  He was using the file name I gave him and then added extensions 0001, 0002, 0003, 0004 and 0005.

    Ugh.  I'll try again.

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that you are unable to scan multiple documents in a single file. I'll do my best to help you and to solve this problem. First of all, I need to know what your operating system on your computer? Click here to discover: Windows or Mac?

I would recommend performing this step of your computer, the HP software. It is much easier to achieve. Please follow this document HP How to digitize. Click on your appropriate operating system, and then click "how to scan multiple pages into a single file. You will notice indicates: (digitization of additional pages is supported at 300 dpi or less.)

    1. Place a document on the scanner glass, and then click Scan your computer.
    2. When the preview scan appears, click the Plus sign ( ) on the left side of the window to scan additional pages. If you do not use an ADF, you must load the next page of the document on the glass of the scanner to add to each additional page.

I would like to know how your progress. Impatience on your part.

How to download the HP software to scan a document and save it to editable word format in windows 7

    Hi surrendernot,

It is possible that one) you use different software of scans other than HP software for scanning or b) the HP software is different on Windows 7, on Windows XP, because they are completely different operating systems and may be a more recent version of the software.

Other methods of analysis lies in this guide to scanning, how HP Multifunction printers - how Scan: Windows 7, you can try scanning without HP software as well.

I hope that answers your question!

  • scan several documents of network share would then break up the pages.

    Hello

I have install a scan-to-smb (server message block) where end users can scan several documents at the same time to a connected network share. Inbox email in this way they do not fill up there. The end-user has adobe reader x software latest version.

Lets give an example when she scans the 10 documents his is available as a single file, you can see the separate pages virtual once the file is open, is there a way to highlight 5 out of the 10 etc. and send and or save as a new group of 5, etc. She does not see this option. I thought it was a standard option\setting? If not how do configure you that or does need Adobe pro (I don't think) thanks for your help. Between you and me, the end user is the administrator and should be familiar with adobe and office desktop settings, but she's not here :-)

Reader users cannot change the content or combine pdf files. They can read the files, they can add comments, and save the content of the forms when authorized by the creator of the pdf file.

I have an Officejet J6480 on a Mac. I want to scan several documents and saved it as a PDF file. I don't know how to do this.

  • How to scan a document HP MFP127fn for my Ipad Air2 (the two are connected to my home network)

Hi, how to scan a document HP MFP127fn for my Ipad Air2?

The two are connected to my home network - the HP printer is connected by ethernet cable, and the Air2 Ipad connected by WiFi.

I can print from the Ipad to the printer but cannot scan.

The printer is properly connected (IE, it scans to another laptop (windows 7) without problems)

    Hi @regtown,

    My bad

Looks like you won't be able to scan to PC or Mac with this printer. HP ePrint app is certainly compatible via iOS for printing, but it won't help you analyze for iPad.

    Kind regards
