How to scroll?

Let's say that when you press the T key, then app scrolls to the top of the screen.

Otherwise when you press the B key, then the app will scroll to the bottom of the screen.

How to do this?

The class screen, override keyChar (char, int, int), test of 't' or 'b' key and calls getMainManager () .setVerticalScroll (). For the top, scroll down to 0. To the bottom, highlight Math.max (0, mm.getVirtualHeight () - mm.getVisibleHeight (()) (where mm is the lead manager of the screen).

  • How to scroll programmatically after requery

    Hi all

    We have a form that displays data in a table / grid format with a vertical scroll bar. The block of the "Number of records displayed" property is 30. Let's say that the user scrolls to form #40 (so scrolling the canvas happened already), performs a data entry on form #40 and click process. The button does two things:
    (1) call the PL/SQL procedure that updates some data that the form block is based on (this can update the file #41, #42, etc.).
    (2) update the block by running execute_query.

    The problem is when form refreshes, it resets the canvas view to save #1. The user complains that he needs to reach again file #40 to see the result of the update of the PL/SQL procedure.
    We tried to set the current record number to a variable before updating and using integrated go_record to go to that record. However, the view still looks the same. For example, before the update, canvas watch 32 to 62 record (form #40 is somewhere in the middle of the canvas view), but after go_record (40), canvas shows view from 10 to 40. The view is still not right.

    What we want, this is the update needs to keep the cursor in the same record (#40) and the folder must be at the same place in the grid as before the update.

    The block is on a table of contents (not bunk). How to scroll the table of content so that the user can see the same view as before the update.
    I tried to look at get_view_property, scroll_view, but always without success. Help, please.

    Thank you.

    So, let try it with the built-in function Get_Block_Property ("block_name", TOP_RECORD) , then make a Go_Record with the given number.

  • How to scroll my photos outside Photos on Mac?

    I just had my data migrated from my pc to my new Macbook Air, and they do not have my library in "Photos"; Instead, he remains in a folder in my Docs. I can open it fine, I can see the thumbnails (tiny), but if I open one of the images, I can't understand how to move to the next image in the series (on my PC I just used the arrow pointing to the right, but that doesn't do a thing on Mac). Instead, I have to close the visualization of photos I am, who do not go to the thumbnails but the blows regulate me on the desk and then reopen, reopen the thumbnails, choose the following image, repeat... Please, is there an easy way to scroll through my images? (Thumbnails are tiny and I also can't amplify peering right at home is not an option, although I'm open to suggestions of magnification!)

    Preview is the default viewer on Mac. Unlike the built-in image look at an app on Windows system, preview will automatically switch to the next photo. You need a few extra steps to view several pictures with preview.

    You must first select all photos in the folder. (Command-A), photo thumbnails are highlighted.  In the context menu, choose open with and select "Preview", all the selected images will open in a single window Preview.app, with thumbnails in the left panel for quick navigation between images. (press up/down arrow on the keyboard to move to the next/previous image). And you can find that some applications 3rd parties such as 'ViewPic' on the Mac App store for easier pictures look at one.

  • How to scroll through the tabs with the mouse wheel?

    I used to be able to scroll the selection of tabs when the tab bar is filled using my wheel mouse (like the arrows on each side navigation), but recently it changes the tab I look as if I physically clicked on this subject.

    That should still work if you hover over with the mouse, the tab bar.

  • How - to scroll through a screen?

    I want to be able to scroll "screen" when the user presses SPACE.

    How can I do this?  I can go up or down, but not a screen at a time.

       protected boolean keyChar( char c, int status, int time ) {
            boolean consumed = false;

            switch( c ) {
                case Characters.SPACE:
                    break;
                case 't':
                    setVerticalScroll( Manager.TOPMOST );
                    break;
                case 'b':
                    setVerticalScroll( Manager.BOTTOMMOST );
                    break;
            }

            return consumed;
        }

    Where others try to understand this point, here is the solution:

       protected boolean keyChar( char c, int status, int time ) {
            switch( c ) {
                case Characters.SPACE:
                    if ((status & KeypadListener.STATUS_SHIFT) == 0) {
                        scroll( Manager.DOWNWARD );
                    } else {
                        scroll( Manager.UPWARD );
                    }
                    return true;
                case 't':
                    scroll( Manager.TOPMOST );
                    return true;
                case 'b':
                    scroll( Manager.BOTTOMMOST );
                    return true;
            }

            return super.keyChar(c, status, time);
        }

  • How to scroll to see multiple threads?

    In the old forum, I could put the number of threads that I have seen in a page. That is to say. I was able to put 25 or 50 number of threads to display per page.

    But now, I don't see more than 25 threads per page and that I'm not the next page button either? I see only a "Get a stream of this content" link towards the end of the page!

    How can I scroll down or how to get to the next page?

    Click display space in that you are 'Content', and then you have the option to move between pages.

    The 'Presentation' of space view lists only the threads "recently."

  • How to scroll through the content at different speeds?

    Please take a look at http://www.gingerlabs.com/ and notice how the context and content of text scroll speed different /rate

    Is there a way to do this in Muse?

    You can certainly achieve this effect in the Muse. Try to use less scrolling for filling frame and then apply speed according to the frame to fill to main content going on Passover with images filling.

    Best way would be to create a trial site and then apply similar effects of scrolling, please let me know if you have any additional questions.

  • How to scroll through the entire screen of text

    I'm new to Captivate.  In other words, I use it for the first time.  I am trying to create the first slide in my project.  I want a text to scroll on the right screen and completely out of the screen on the left.  I was able to make the text fade in and out and have music in the background (at first), but I can't understand how the full scroll from right to left, or if it is possible.

    Can someone help me with this and please give step by step instructions?  I would be very happy!

    Hello and welcome to the forums.  You don't say what version of Captivate you use, but if you have version 5 or 5.5, the answer is Yes, you can have a blade of legend of text on the screen.  You can use a to do.  To open the effect controls panel, use the window menu, and then select effects.  Select the caption text that you want to have the scroll.  I'll demonstrate using version 5.  You should see:

    Click on the fx to open the menu effects.  Select the trajectory, then RightToLeft.

    Drag the right end of the effect of RightToLeft to length of parchment.  Here I show that I have extended it to the length of the slide, 3 seconds:

    Then look at the text of the caption on the slide.  If it is enabled, you should see a 1 in his lower right:

    The 1-click and you will get starting and ending points of the motioin effect.  Drag the start point at the right edge of the blade and the end point at the left edge of the slide.

    When the slide plays, the text caption will start on the right edge of the screen and pass through and leave the left edge of the screen in 3 seconds.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to scroll by using the mouse wheel on a parent scroll pane

    Hi guys,.
    Imagine a table. In each cell of the table represents a component of a get. All aspects of ahmed are configured so that the scroll bar is visible only when it is necessary.
    Then, ALL cells contain scroll shutters, but only a few of them actually show a scroll bar.
    The entire table (which is very large) is also in a global scroll pane and is drop-down.

    My problem:
    I want to use the mouse wheel to scroll on the entire table. Because the table contains all its cells do scroll panes, the inner scrollpanes takes very quickly focus and global scrolling stops immediately.
    How can I force the weel mouse seize ONLY on the overall scroll pane? So basically not to transfer events to its internal components?

    I tried to disable the mouse wheel on all aspects of internal scroll:
    xxx.setWheelScrollingEnabled(false);
    ... but it doesn't.
    Any idea?

    So basically not to transfer events to its internal components?

    You must manually transfer the events to the external component to scroll.

    Using the concepts presented in [url http://tips4java.wordpress.com/2009/08/30/global-event-listeners/] Global event listeners, you can do something like:

    import java.awt.*;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    import javax.swing.*;

    public class ScrollSSCCE extends JPanel
    {
         public ScrollSSCCE()
         {
              setLayout( new BorderLayout() );

              Box tables = Box.createVerticalBox();
              final JScrollPane scrollPane = new JScrollPane( tables );
              add( scrollPane );

              for (int i = 0; i < 5; i++)
              {
                   JTable table = new JTable(20, 4);
                   JScrollPane sp = new JScrollPane( table );
                   sp.setPreferredSize( new Dimension(300, 200) );
                   sp.setWheelScrollingEnabled( false );
                   tables.add( sp );
              }

              long eventMask = AWTEvent.MOUSE_WHEEL_EVENT_MASK;

              Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().addAWTEventListener( new AWTEventListener()
              {

                      if (source != scrollPane
                        &&  SwingUtilities.isDescendingFrom(source, scrollPane) )
                      {
