How to select a file folder to send scanned documents to?

I have a photosmart 6525.  I would like to send the documents in a folder specific file in My Documents.  How?

If so, then open the HP printer Assistant software installed with the printer.
* Select analysis a Document/Photo option to open the scan window
* Select Advanced... settings option on the right side of the screen
* Select the Destination tab
* In the middle of the window is a box containing the destination of the file scan. You can choose "Browse" and set the folder desired as the scan destination.
* Click Save

I would like to know how this happens.

    I set my printer up to send a scan of documents for me whenever my laptop isn't on. It requires a code PIN to send the document. Unfortunately I misplaced the PIN code and is forced to locate or reset. Reflected on the printer to the title web services, I can't see an option to do this. I have also recorded in the centre of ePrint online but have been unable to locate or find a reset it either.

    Any ideas how to do this? Thank you

    The best way to access the app is actually access your ePrint account and add the scan for app by email to your printer.  Once you add the application to your printer go to your apps on the front panel and you should see the scanning to e-mail.  I hope this helps.

  • JPEG image is displayed in the selected image files folder

    When the discovery of the computer and selecting the image file folder - I use to get the small real individual images of each image in the folder without having to enter in the Windows Photo Gallery.  Now, I have only an icon, the same as that for each of the images and the only way I can see that the actual image is to select a specific icon and hope that is the image I'm looking for.  Can someone tell me how I can get all the individual photos in the folder of image file to display when I select that folder?

    I first suggest you to change the display of the photo icons folder type medium or large icons and check if that helps.

    To do this, follow these steps:

    Open the photo folder. Click view > select icons medium or large icons.

    Make sure that default programs > associate a file or protocol type with a program, file types .bmp, .ico, DIBs, .jfif, .jpeg, .jpe, .png, .png, .tiff, .tif, .wdp file names must have the default program like Windows Photo Gallery.

    Otherwise, select the type of file name, click on change program and browse to choose as default Windows Photo Gallery.

    Additionally, set the global folder options

    To specify the global settings that apply to all folders, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Folder Options.
    2. On the general tab, click the options you want.
    3. In the view tab, click the options you want.
    4. Click OK.

    Note To restore the default settings for all folders, click restore defaults on the general tab or on the view tab.

    Use the same display settings for all folders

    You can apply the same view settings to all folders on your computer. You cannot apply the same view settings for all folders, images icons, toolbar settings or tasks folder. To apply the same view settings to all folders, follow these steps:

    1. Locate and open the folder which includes the display setting you want to use for all folders.
    2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
    3. On the view tab, click apply to all folders.
    4. Click Yes, and then click OK.

    Note To reset all folders to the default display settings, repeat these steps, but click reset all folders in step 3.

    This a problem running.

    What happens is that when you select multiple files, you select one of the files and the mouse is moved, even slightly, when you release the mouse button, all the selected files will be copied to the same folder. You must be very careful not to move the mouse when you select files.

    If you want to reduce the file size of a PDF document, you must use Acrobat. If you do not have Acrobat, you're certainly welcome to try for http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html. Acrobat Pro, there are several options to reduce the size of the file, including the file > save as other > PDF of reduced size and file > save as other > PDF optimized.

    My old HP Scanjet G3010 used automatically set up a new folder each month inside the main "My Scans" folder and automatically send the documents to the current monthly folder and would automatically name the docs (scan0001, scan0002).

    It seems that the HP 8600 most does not.  Is there a place to put in place a framework, or is this not possible with this device?

    The Officejet Pro 8600 series uses different drivers than the series Scanjet. For the Officejet, you should be able to change the base file name (while this isn't always 'Scan' 001) and the destination folder. I'll check on mine and see if it creates a new folder for each month.

    If it does not create a folder new month, then you should be able to use the scan of third party software that can provide the same functionality. Otherwise, you can create a new folder each month yourself and set it as the default scanning directory.

    More scanned documents cannot be changed, unless you have a software that can read digital information. The scanned document is just a picture of the item that you have scanned. You must have a software like OCR (optical character recognition) to be able to make changes to the digitized item.

    You can start the command prompt and do a Delete "folder name".  If the folder is marked read only, system, or hidden, you may need to use the ATTRIB command to remove these attributes.  Question the Attrib /? command for syntax.

    To access the command prompt, press F8 all the seconds until you get the menu and select Mode safe mode with command prompt.

    I don't think there is a way to do it. But why are you keep JPEG images? I shoot raw only. The only time I need a JPEG file is if I want to share it on the Internet, by e-mail, or send to a laboratory to be printed. Other than that, the JPEG is not necessary. So I generate JPEG files for a specific purpose. When this effect was filled the JPEG images are deleted. They can quickly and easily be regenerated when needed.

    Of course, these images for which you have only the master files to JPEG, you want to certainly keep those. But, in my opinion, there is no need to have JPEG copies of each raw file. Suppose you decide to make additional adjustments to one of these raw files. He must then remember to generate a JPEG file and remember where you store them.
