How to set the time-out value for a namedcache programmatically?

I have a cache named with near cache configuration and no expiration set in the cache configuration. The backup plan that is a distributed system has a policy of expulsion of limited size, but no expiration. I have an algorithm to determine the timeout of this cache named at run time. How can I adjust this delay on the named cache programmatically?

Thank you
Sairam

Hi Sairam,

You need get the plan of support for the cache and set the expiration on the support plan; assuming that the storage card is supported by the expiry.

For example:

NamedCache cache = CacheFactory.getCache ("test");

CacheService service = cache.getCacheService ();
DefaultConfigurableCacheFactory.Manager MDB = service.getBackingMapManager ((DefaultConfigurableCacheFactory.Manager));
Map of bm = bmm.getBackingMap ("test");

If (WB instanceof ConfigurableCacheMap)
{
System.out.println ("timeout setting");
(WB) .setExpiryDelay (100000) (ConfigurableCacheMap);
}

  • The time-out value for the Photos in slideshow

    My client wants to put pictures of their advertisers in their slide show, but some customers use pictures that are time sensitive, i.e. 'Deal valid this Saturday only'. Is there a widget or add-on that allows me to set an expiration date for a photo in a slideshow where I have, for some reason, cannot be reached to remove it?

    Thank you!

    There is no way currently to do this with only Muse. It would be a good widget. Maybe on the head to www.musewidgets.com and demand. The request goes out to third-party widget providers and maybe one of them will create it.

    If you mean the customer of email Windows Live Mail, the time stamp on messages is governed by your time zonesystem. Right-click on the clock in the lower right of the screen and select CONFIGURATION... Change your time zone, and then set your clock at the present time.

    If you are talking about the Windows Live Hotmail service, the time zone (s) used are those contained in your account data. Reach
    https://account.live.com/EditProf.aspx
    and change the time zones for the good...

    Windows Live programs and services have their own forums for support at the Windows Live Solution Center. Please address any questions you may have about Windows Live Mail to one of the forums on the right side of this page. For Hotmail, forums and responses are available via this page.

  • How to adjust the time-out setting?

    I'm in a certain OBIEE in Firefox which, by nature, do not take a long time to run. One of my local Technical Support people suggested increase Firefox's timeout setting (he showed me how to do this once, but I didn't write it). Can you provide instructions written (or annotated images of the screen), please?

    Alright. There are two ways to do this. You can extend your timeout, or you can completely disable timeout. Depending on how you are using firefox, can be useful. If you want to extend your time-out, type about: config in your search bar on the top. From there, need you a list of preferences. There is a search bar. Type "Timeout" in there. The top two are disable the time-out and the 'County timeout'. If you want to disable the timeout, simply double-click the "enabletimeout" on the top. This will change the false value. If you want to change the value of how long it takes to timeout, double-click on the "CountTimeout" and type in your new value. If this is not sensible, see screenshots.

    Have a great day!

  • How to change the time-out setting

    Hi all

    IM new to oracle10g. We use Server 10g 2 version. We have a report that runs for more than 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the time-out error message is displayed. How to avoid this problem. I gave the value of forms_timeout 1400 in default.env. Even after that, im getting the same message. Is there something else to do to avoid this error in time-out?

    Below the message after 5 minutes.

    Explanation: the request expired before the page could be found. *

    Try this:*.

    Refresh page: search for the page again by clicking the Refresh button. This may have been a mistake for a moment. *

    If you are still not able to view the requested page, try contacting your administrator or your Helpdesk. *

    Technical (for support staff) information*.

    Error code 1460: Timeout*.

    Background: the gateway could not receive a timely response on the site you are trying to access, a DNS server, or another gateway server. This might indicate that the network is congested, or that the site is experiencing technical difficulties. *

    Thanks in advance
    Robet

    I don't think that this forms_timeout applies here, as it should be an HTTP request and forms_timeout has nothing to do with it.
    Check the file httpd.conf of your apache located in $ORACLE_HOME/apache/apache/conf for the TimeOut directive. The default value is 300 seconds which would be your 5 minutes, then perhaps assigning a higher value should do the job.

    But a report that lasts more than 5 minutes? Isn't it a little longer? If I was a user who runs this report would probably cancel the execution, as if I have to wait longer than 5 minutes for my desired output I'm sure I want to cancel it, as I suspect that it is more. I am looking for the cause of this; Maybe you have a plan of bad execution of your report, or maybe you need to redraw your sql to run faster...

  • How to set the zoom settings menu for lecroywaverunner 6050A

    Hello

    I am trying to initialize the zoom settings of a track of the labview on a Lecroy WaveRunner 6050 A fft. I found how to set the parameters of the fft with the manual of the remote control for LeCroy scopes  http://cdn.lecroy.com/files/manuals/wm-rcm-e_rev_d.pdf ) but I have not found how to set the menu zoom settings.

    I also tried with find command using the command of automation of Lecroy. ( http://cdn.lecroy.com/files/manuals/automation_command_ref_manual_wr.pdf ). but I think that there is a problem with the settings of the commands I send to the scope.

    I just need to put the horizontal and vertical centers and scales.

    If anyone can help,

    Thank you.

    Hello

    I use F1 as my FFT here track.

    Commands to change the scales are:

    Vertical Center: VBS ' app. Math.F1.Zoom.VerCenter = XXXX"

    Portrait/div scale: VBS ' app. Math.F1.Zoom.VerScale = XXXX"

    Horizontal at the Center: VBS ' app. Math.F1.Zoom.HorCenter = XXXX"

    Horzontal scale/div: VBS ' app. Math.F1.Zoom.HorScale = XXXX"

    I also want to point you to an application on the scope that will help you.

    If you go to the file menu and select cut, to the office, there is a shortcut to an application called "XStream Browser"

    The browser is an interactive application that will present all automation methods and properties that are available on the scope.  He acually connects to the scope of the request, so you can use it to test various components to see what they do on the scope.  It is very intuitive and I use it exclusively. (this is where I went looking for the commands above for you).

    Here is a link to Chapter 1 of the manual of automation: http://cdn.lecroy.com/files/manuals/04_xstreamautomation_ch1.pdf

    Page 1 - 5 has a quick introduction to the browser and its use.

    I hope that it becomes operational.
