How to set up the domain user to log on automatically immediately after starting?

We have a Windows XP development computer that we setup so that only the user DEV can connect.   So, I would like to set up the computer so that when it is initialized, it connects automatically to our DEV user directly on the desktop.  How can I do?

    ACS 5 has no option to disable a local account on the unsuccessful attempts
    Symptom:
    ACS 5 doesn't have an option to disable the local account in the internal identity on failed attempts store

    Conditions:
    When ACS 5 is used to only to authenticate users using internal identity store, there is no way to configure a strategy of locking of account for failed attempts.

    Workaround solution:
    Currently there is no work around
