How to skip the Startup Repair...
How to skip the Startup Repair... I started from the install disc and want to "restore full backup for PC. I selected the partition with the corrupt windows installation. The process is suspended, check disk for errors. This check can be ignored. I know it is corrupted and you want to restore completely. No need for this control.
Hello
What happens if you leave the disk check to run its course without interfering with it?
And it is not a good idea to have a backup on the same hard drive, due to the possible failure of the Hard Drive altogether.
I'm sorry, but nobody here knows why, your system is damaged. There may be problems with bad sectors on the hard disk.
I suggest download you Diagnostic tools for your hard drive manufacturer, make a Bootable disc and run a diagnostic test to see what the problems are, if any, there is with this hard drive.

I was also able to stop at the Startup Repair.
I also tried to install new windows, but he fails again.
Please help me as soon as you can!Hello
If you do not, use another PC to create a rescue CD Windows 7. Download the ISO relevant among the links below.
You must use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO to a CD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here. One time created, or if you already have this, typing away at the esc key when you launch Notepad to open the Start Menu. Insert the rescue CD. Select boot options (usually f9), use the arrow keys to select the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER. You can also get a prompt to "Press any key to" continuous - it if requested.
When loading, select repair your computer and choose the command prompt. When this charge, enter the following commands and press on enter after everyone – including spaces as shown.
Bootrec.exe
bcdedit/export C:\BCD_Backup
c:
Boot CD
BCD attrib s h - r
Ren c:\boot\bcd BCD.old
Bootrec /RebuildBcd
Bootrec /fixmbr
Bootrec /fixboot
Remove the rescue CD and try to restart the laptop.

Satellite L500 - how to restore the menu "repair your computer"?
Hello world
I have a laptop Toshiba L500, Yestaday I tried to restore the system to the factory settings (by pressing F8 at startup high and choose "repair your computer"). In the system has been installed almost, but at a stage of installation drivers to read memory cards and similar - there was a failure (the blue screen and need down) - after that - Windows 7 is not loaded. parsing errors (by means using a floppy disk to another Windows 7 install) says that the registry is damaged, cannot repair.
but the main problem - when you press F8 at startup upward - there is no MORE menu 'Repair your computer' (!) . It is impossible to start Windows 7 predefined. So there's the hidden sector containing Windows predefined (I saw when loading a disc of hatch - Total order could start - and hidden sector was visible). All files in drive recovery HARD necessary are also available.
How to restore the menu "repair your computer"? or how it is possible to start Windows predefined without pressing F8?
> Hidden article exists, I saw it, there are all the files recovery HARD drive (which was in the laptop after buying), but I can't begin to recover Windows because I don't have menu not 'repair your computer' to start the laptop. He disappeared...
Of course, the flag in the Advanced Start menu seems to be deleted and therefore drive recovery HARD option isn't available anymore.
Probably the partition has changed. But in case of HARD drive recovery files are still available on the recovery partition, you can try to create the USB support of own recovery using of workaround:

I guess that this directive should be very useful.

Seems odd. Startup Repair should have solved the problem.
Have you tried new reboot running?
Give it a shot...
Any chance that you have a "backup computer?
Try to do a full restore of the PC.
See how it goes...

What should I do if my windows does not start, and the Startup Repair is not help at all
So today, I went and when I turned on my computer from sleep mode, it was perfectly fine. I was watching a video, surf on internet and MSN messenger when my computer froze all of a sudden. I waited for release, but it didn't. Given that I could not turn off the computer either, I had no choice but to disconnect it from the computer. However, later, when I tried to restart, the screen would go black after the black loading screen. Subsequently, it would just restart and startup repair would begin. I tried to restore Systen and ran several times startup repair. In addition, it does not even boot mode safe. · How have you tried to do system restore?
I recommend you to restore system using a Windows Vista DVD.
Here's how:
To open the Options menu system recovery using a system repair disc or a Windows Vista installation disc
If your system is damaged and cannot access the menu system on your computer Recovery Options, you can access it using the Windows Vista installation disc or a system repair disc previously.
To use this method, you need to restart (boot) your computer using the disk.
1 insert the disc.
2. restart your computer using the power button on the computer.
3. If you are prompted, press any key to start Windows from the installation disc.
If your computer is not configured to start from a CD or a DVD, see the documentation provided with your computer.4. choose your language settings, and then click Next.
5. If you are using the Windows installation disc, click on repair your computer.
6. Select the Windows installation you want to repair, and then click Next.
7. in the System Recovery Options menu, click a tool to open it. -

I have Windows 7, my computer does not start. I did the Startup Repair and he won't fix it. I did the system configuration information. and that did not help. What to do now? The comment of Bios makes me fear that it could damage my computer forever. What should do? Help, please
Hi Alan,
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
I understand that the computer does not restart even after running Startup Repair and I will be happy to answer your query. I appreciate the efforts made to try to make it work. Let me ask you;
- How do you run the Startup Repair?
- Do you have Windows 7 repair disc?
- Remember to no particular change in the computer before the show?
- Have you plugged an external equipment, except the keyboard and mouse?
- You are able to start the computer in safe mode?
- What is the brand and model of the computer?
Note: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.
There could be several reasons why he's not leaving including hardware as well. In addition, it could be because the master boot record (MBR) has been damaged. When you try to use the Startup Repair tool to repair the MBR, the Startup Repair tool indicates that no problem was found or it does not work yet.
If you have any connected USB flash drive or other external devices connected to the computer, if you please, remove them and try to run the Startup Repair tool.
If you haven't tried using Windows 7 repair disc, you can try the following:
1. Insert the Windows 7 disc
2. restart your computer
3. When asked if you want to boot from your DVD player, do it.
4. Select your language, click Next.
5. click on repair your computer
6. Select the operating system you want to repair. You can also perform the system restore by selecting the restore point when you think it worked very well. System Restore, choose advanced options using the disc.
Important: When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed after this date are deleted.
I also recommend to contact the computer manufacturer to get the done diagnostic equipment.
Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

ORIGINAL TITLE: Vista problems
Hi I was wondering if I can get a few hekp with this question. After installing Avast AV my computer cannot load Vista. Windows check the file system and found no problem. The last line says failure to transfer the messages saved in the log of the events with the 50 State. It's all I have.

You may need to restore your PC to factory settings. You should have a system restore disk from emachines or the restore option when you start. Look for a message when you turn on saying something like "press _ to restore the factory settings. If you do not, you will need to contact emachines to get a drive on their part. They may charge you a fee and it is possible that they might tell you that they cannot help you. But I hope that this does not happen!
I hope this helps. Good luck.

Vista won't start do not and the Startup Repair tool suspended
Hello
I just came across some problems with Vista. I initially became a problem with my network card that he was unable to start the driver. I made the mistake of unistalling thinking Vista would be to reinstall it when it restarted. Since then it crashes just as soon as he gets to the start screen. He did the same in all modes of security and restore last known good configuration. I dug my CD and tried to do the Startup Repair. He gets through loading files, but when it gets to the screen where you choose your language input method, etc., it freezes. I can't even NumLock to switch on the keyboard, it seems to be completely hooked. I think I installed SP2 and my CD is probably only SP1, so I think that may restrict some of my options. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks for the help. I ended up out of the network card and could come out in safe mode, and then in normal mode. Get that far, I plugged the card back and all was well again. Not sure why she needed a time-out or why that hung near the top of Vista via the CD.

Here are the ways to back up your data:
Data recovery:
1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.
2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.
3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
