How to stop disk check to run every time that windows vista starts?

How to stop disk check to run every time that windows vista starts? I had a problem with one of my backup disks so I removed it, but now the drive is still running a disk check whenever I boot my system. It takes so long to run and there is no error, but it starts every time. Why and how can I make sure that she? I read similar questions, but they don't tell you how to run a disk check, they mention however that "If you want to cancel the regular disk for some reason check, check out this guide." but tell you what guide or link?

  • Blue screen 116 every time that Windows updates

original title: 116 every time that Windows Update BSOD

OK, so I'm in a bad mood, so this will be brief. I managed to understand I get BSOD every time I update my graphics driver, and I have no idea what kind of card I because it is a company built PC (never buy Dells) and the owner of this PC (that is to say my father and family) reinstalled Windows compeletly before I could look, so all I have is "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" in the Device Manager. Try to manually update the drivers causing the BSOD once I chose to run windows normally (it runs in safe mode now too, which is of course the pre reinstall improved)

So I don't really know what to do at this point.

    Hello

Dell can tell you what the graphics device in the computer is so check with their support, their online
documentation and drivers and ask in the Dell forums for known issues. Check the model number
of your computer on the Dell Site for drivers - it should indicate the appropriate driver.

The fact that it BlueScreens when you try to update the driver could indicate there is something wrong
with the video device. Because it has a "Standard VGA adapter' this means that the driver does not load.

    I hope this helps.

  • Launch of the program in an entire window every time that the computer starts caching

Problem is that I have the program launch Cache in a full window every time that the computer starts. Stupid! It should start only in the system tray. Imagine every other startup program starts in a full window from the start. Is not acceptable. Also, I had disable the security function in the control panel of Windows 7, which allows the programs to make changes to the computer or leave it in a message box whenever he throws. Fuck that person nothing told me on this software is so much in need. In a chat online SanDisk said it's just the way it was designed.

You can choose to not launch the application at windows startup ("do not start with windows" option). The caching engine still works without the GUI app.

  • Unable to turn off the computer, it will restart every time in Windows Vista.

Original title: portable computer complete crash

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium on HP Pavilion DV2208e.
A week using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, the screen went black and all the lights on the laptop has continued. I tried to stop the laptop by pressing the power button, but it did not work. The only way to stop the laptop was to unplug the power cord. The next morning, that I started it again, with a notice "Windows did not close properly, how you want to proceed.» I opted for "start Windows normally". It seems to work very well, with the expection that the date had re-fixed at the date where Vista was installed first of all a few years ago. Later, when I tried to stop the laptop by choosing from the menu start 'Shut down', the laptop shuts down normally, but then 2-3 seconds more later handed on himself. I tried several times and it's always the same, the way to stop it is by pressing the power button, then whenever it restarts it new note that Windows not stop correctly. Also the black screen crash turned up almost every two days.

I tried reinstalling antivirus and did a full scan. Also used ccleaner and décliqués "Automatically restart" in the advanced system settings. But nothing seems to have worked so far.

In computer management, I can see critical events that seem to correspond to the time when the black screen error occurred. They say the following:
The last sleep transition was unsuccessful. This error can be caused if the system unresponsive, failed, or loss of power during the transition from sleep

  • How to stop my character of shooter every time he turns... (?)

    Greetings;

I just worked with AS3 for two weeks (before that I only did starting from simple animations in a FLA). In any case, I have the origins of a game I've been working on... a stick figure moving with the arrow keys, shoots through the space bar and turns with the keys A and D. The problem is he doing involuntarily whenever I have run with the keys A and D. I think it's because x and is given to the "missles" speeds are functions (sin / cos) of the player.rotation.

Is there another way to program it so that it does not pull when it runs?

    Thank you

You exaggerated once again, simply to show the relevant code at the launch of a missile, which is what calls the missleLaunch() function.  You'll get the hang of limiting what to show later.

The launch is initiated in the switch code in the onKeyPressed() function.  If you look at the switch case code for your controls for rotation, you will find something missing in these two cases which is not absent in other cases.

  • iPhoto should not run every time that a device is connected

iPhoto should not start when I plug any device on a computer.   This should be controlled by the owner of the device on the device. And this should be a configurable feature on the computer.  There should be a check box that says "Click here to have the automatic iPhoto launch when you plug in a device."

I don't want to plug my phone in a my computer from a friend to have all photos hot, I took with his girlfriend while he was out of popup city on his screen while my phone charges.

I want this automatic launch when my girlfriend plug her phone on my computer to load so I can watch through his albums.

I won't launch when my father its branch on my computer because the things a child should not see their parents.

Already, this option exists in iPhoto and iTunes, but you can check it or uncheck the box only when other devices are connected. You can also do this via the image transfer application in your Applications folder.

whenever I start my computer laptop windows 7, he now runs the chkdsk, even if I let the chkdsk all 5 checks and said then from windows... I picked the chkdsk and the following text:
One of your disks needs to be checked for consistency...

How can I stop it from running whenever I start up my laptop?

    Thank you

You probably have a corrupt for error checking in the registry entry. A system restore point would probably fix this. If you want to watch the entrance to do, it's to:

"autocheck" entry (value) to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\BootExecute

If you make a restore point and delete this value, you will probably fix it.

  • Lightroom 6 crashes every time that the application starts

After finally realizing that I had to uninstall Adobe CC, Photoshop and Lightroom to update to LR CC, I'm more able to get Lightroom to work at all. The application will crash whenever I try to run it. I tried to uninstall it again once, as well as all other Adobe applications, but the problem persists. At this point I have really no idea what I need to do to make this work...

CC of Photoshop works perfectly fine btw...

    I use this with Windows 7 SP1 64 bit.

Thank you very much Adobe support!

They were able to find the problem - redistributable Microsoft Visual C++.

    Details of the accident:

    Problem event name: APPCRASH

    Application name: lightroom.exe

    Application version: 6.5.0.10

    Application timestamp: 56e2e2da

    Fault Module name: MSVCR120.dll

    Fault Module Version: 12.0.21005.1

What I've done: uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2012 and 2013.

Then install that hide them (downloaded from MS website).

Then run through all updates from MS Windows.

    And Lightroom CC was back!

  • Music player "Shuffle all" don't work the first time, you must go back and tap it again every time that the application starts, what gives?

On the Open of ZTE, the music player "Shuffle all" failed the first time, pressed, instead, it will just load a song at random and read the rest of the list in the order; It's not until I click "Shuffle all" and back again it will play in fact mixed. Is this a bug? All solutions?

    Hello

Yes, I think that it is a known bug in Firefox OS v1.0. Bug 883781.

The bug is marked as resolved in Firefox OS v1.1. Once that ZTE full update to version 1.1 the bug on your device.

version 1.1 of Firefox OS was officially released yesterday. If all goes well, it won't be too long before it reaches the Open of ZTE. See here for more details:

    Update OS of Firefox (1.1)

    I hope this helps.
