Hello

Check with your router manufacturer and their forums because they usually have great information.

Better to use WPA/WPA2 security if they are available and you can hide the SSID that will help
help others to see the network (note on some routers more hide the SSID)
causes of connection problems and if they find out the name he is more useful).

Hello. My Dell laptop has stopped to connect to a wireless network. He had been the connection very well for months until about a week ago. Then he would only reconnect when I restarted my laptop. Now it doesn't connect at all. I'm in Windows 8. I tried to solve the problems, but nothing worked, I also tried to remove the network from the list and reconnect, but without success. Any help would be great.

Windows 8 did a diagnostic self test... and it automatically fixed my problems with the connection via WiFi.   He is now on the connection manually.  Apparently, he has been on the connection automatically.  I have di0sconnected my Ethernet connection, before you run the test.  Then it is automatically set to manual connection.

I understand that you want to configure the printer on the wireless network. I can help you with this.

    Uninstall the printer software.

    Uninstalling the printer software.

Restore the default settings of the printer.

Go to Configuration, restore the default values.

Cycle power to the router and the computer.

Run the installer on the printer wireless.

Go to the configuration, Setup, menu wireless network, Wireless Setup Wizard.

Print a configuration page to get the IP address of the printer.

    Print a Configuration report.

    Select the method.

If you have a valid IP address for the printer, then try and access the Web built-in to the printer server. Type the IP address in the address bar of your web browser. (Internet Explorer)

If it loads the page from the network printer then the printer is on the network.

  • Pavilion p6-2310: can no longer connect to our wireless network

All of a sudden our PC no longer has a connection to our wireless network.  We looked at the list of installed programs and it shows Ralink RT539OR 802.11bgn Wi - Fi adapter has having been installed today - but we have no install anything today.  Is it a coincidence that shows like this and all of a sudden we can access our wireless network?  How do we get working again that it is necessary as soon as possible?  Thanks for any help.

Thank you.  I'm like a dog with a bone when it comes to these things and not rest until I get solved.  So, I found something in the knowledge base of the forum who pointed me in the right direction.  Using Device Manager we uninstalled and reinstalled the card wifi, and bingo, it works again.  Ceases to amaze me, but how a computer works fine 1 minute and then the next time that you are never going to use it, boom, something does not work.  And you did nothing to change anything so that it does not work.

Your wireless network is probably configured as if it is attached to cooperate Wireless Network (AKA RADUIS).

Look at the Configuration Wireless in the network connection properties and uncheck, enable IEEE 802. 1 x

  • Photosmart C4599 connects to the wireless network

System details: Windows 7 64 bit, HP Photosmart C4599 Limited Edition. Wireless network (Netgear router) with visible SSID and MAC filter.

As the title suggests: my wireless printer is not connecting to my wireless network more. The reason that it is 'more' is because he used to work. But my wireless router has started to lose the internet connection - and I read somewhere that it might work to change the broadcast channel of the router (instead of channel 11 to 13). And it helped.
But since then, the printer was not able to connect. I tried it back - and interruption of the internet connection but the printer worked (a little).

I tell myself that I have to reset the wireless printers Setup, I don't know how to do.

Ok.  I think that the issue would be with the channel.  It might be too high a frequency for the printer to communicate properly.  You can have a heavy traffic on any channel, it depends on what is around you.  I recommend trying channel 1 or 6.  You should be able to download a parser for your smart phone wifi see what are the channels have less useage.
