  From a point of view purely programming, there are a few ways you could implement this.

  (1) create a conditional stay:

(right-click the keyframe is empty, select Paste frames - the entire timeline should stick intact).  Then you can adjust the scale of this movieclip to adapt to the new size of the stage.
