  Go to the Toolbox for your printer and click on the Advanced tab. You should see the option display the alerts of ink. If it is not already set, change it to "when I print. If it's on the "right away" the computer will try to query the printer for ink status and can continue to try. Maybe it's the problem that you are experiencing.

  If this does not work I suggest try to uninstall the printer and reinstall with the latest full feature driver.

  Double click on the home button and force close safari.

  Press the home button to exit the mode
