  I think that this procedure is very delicate and in my opinion it s a job for a technician.
  I m don't know if you can tighten the hinges if necessary he s need to replace the old hinges

  Is it the hinges are hidden under the plastic around the screen frame.
  The LCD mask is fixed with screws I m but not quite sure how much could be three screws. They are hidden under the mask of small cushions.

  LAN installation is very easy.
  First of all, you need the correct LAN driver.
  In order to download the LAN driver please visit the Toshiba driver page and choose your model of laptop.

  Once the LAN driver has been downloaded, you will need to decompress.
  Then you will need to access the Device Manager, choose the controller Ethernet (network cards) and must point to the place where the LAN driver was decompressed.

  Then finish the installation procedure.

I was wondering if I can tightenen this somehow, or whether it should be replaced. Someone at - it a guide of how to get to the hinge?, or someone knows how much a replacement it is likely to cost?

  Unfortunately it s not possible to stretch, so you'll have to buy new hinges.
  I suggest you immediately:

  Search eBay for such a machine you have (maybe faulty would be good) and let a technician to exchange it or ask an authorized service partner how much cost an exchange of the hinges.

  Unfortunately, there is no manual maintenance on the page of Toshiba Europe. Only the authorized service provider got access to such manuals.

  Generally, I have to say that the replacement of hinges is not easy. It s really complicated because the laptop must be disassembled.
  You must remove the mask of the display first and then have to remove the LCD screen before you could see the hinges.

  To be honest I don't recommend trying to replace it with your own hand because you may damage other parts.
  I recommend a visit to a local technician for laptop and I would like to ask for help.

  I guess you are trying to install the driver LAN WXP because Vista LAN driver is not available. Am I wrong?

  In any case:
  -Create a new folder on your desktop
  -extract all downloaded files here
  -Open Device Manager and right-click on device unknown you want to install
  -choose Properties
  -find the Install driver button
  -Click on it and go to the new folder created
  -Follow the on-screen menu
