I followed the instructions, but my XP system can seem to locate the connection of the cable. I'm not very tech savy, so would appreciate some suggestions/help! Thank you!

  Hello sjncousin, welcome.

  Try this:

  1. click on START
  2. right click "My computer" and select "Properties".
  3. click on the tab "hardware".
  "4 click on Device Manager.
  5 expand the category to USB
  6. do a right click and 'Uninstall' illustrated all USB devices
  7. then, restart your computer and try to use the USB transfer cable

  The goal is to update the USB stack.

  You can copy / paste files to and from the memory card.

  If the pictures on your PC have been published... you can always
  copy it to the memory card, but the phone can not
  acknowledge them.

  HI - hoping someone can help me with my encoding settings.  I seem to be on the right track because everything looks good, until you play the video on DVD.

  I use Windows Movie Maker to encode my exports to DVD.  This software does not accept MP4 but it seems to receive a range of other files and one is WMV.  First, I exported a WMV first 1920 x 1080 video (the raw video and graphics are also in this size).  Then I exported another clip in 1280 x 720 WMV.  I just wanted to see what two of them look like during playback on a DVD.

  Here are the export settings:

  

  Here's what the1280 WMV looks like when it is read on my desktop in Windows Media player.  As you will see everything looks very clean:

  

  I then imported 2 WMV clips in Windows Movie Maker, selected settings 16:9, and they coded into a finished DVD.  I then played the DVD on my 50 inch TV in my living room.  Below, you will see a photo that I took of the 1920 clip; Notice how the text looks like in steps:

  

  Then the photo below of the 1280 clip looks much cleaner.

  

  But of course, I would like for the DVD finished watching if possible even cleaner the 1280 photo above - I hope as it looks on the photo of the WMV read on my computer.  These videos will be distributed to various local offices.

  Are my WMV settings correct?  Should I export to other than WMV? How can I improve the DVD of 1280 above photo so everything looks even cleaner (if possible)?  I have Adobe Encore - should I use instead of Movie Maker?

  There isa freeware software that might work,but there is no guarantee that it will be.

  What is "apple mediathek?

  Depending on the context, I'll assume that you are asking how to unload files of songs from an iPod to a computer.  iTunes synchronization is generally in one direction, from iTunes to iPod library. You cannot use iTunes to transfer files of song from iPod to computer (with the exception of songs purchased from the iTunes Store)

  NOTE: Songs purchased from the iTunes Store can be downloaded again free of charge, on the iTunes Store purchased screen.

  However, there are methods and third party utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer.  If you do an Internet search on something like 'ipod music transfer', you should get a few links (including a CNET article on the subject).  Once the files of songs from the iPod to your disk, add them to your current iTunes library.
