  • How to transfer pictures from the phone to the computer via a USB cable?

I just bought a Tundra VA76r and universal mini-USB cable at a local store AT & T. I downloaded the "v3.9.0 USB driver for Windows 32-bit" on the Motorola support site, I have Windows XP SP2 on my desktop Dell. The driver is described as follows:

This USB driver is used for connecting your Mobile from Motorola phone to a Windows® computer via a USB cable to charge your phone or to access the data on your phone. This USB driver supports most Motorola OS, Linux OS, Motorola, Motorola iDEN, Motorola Symbian/UIQ, Motorola Windows Mobile® and i-mode of Motorola phones.

I installed the driver and the load function works. My phone USB connection type is MODEM. However, I am not able to "access the data on my phone" as promised in the description of the driver. The phone is not recognized in Windows Explorer. All I want to do is to transfer pictures from the phone to my computer. The price for Motorola Phone Tools ($50) seem expensive for such a simple task. An adapter for my desktop computer bluetooth is also in this price range. The tundra is incompatible with the feature of this driver? I'm doing something wrong with the installation of the phone? Please help me to get the driver to work... Thank you

Best way to do this is to configure your phone USB setting of "memory card".  Go to Menu-settings-connections-settings USB online online online, select the memory card.

Once this is done, connect the phone to the computer, phone will be recognized as a removable disk. Go to my computer.  Under devices you'll see removable drive F or G depending on your drives (can show two if you have a card as well.  Memory card is usually the drive at the top of the page.  The phone memory is lower by car).

Click on the drive (IE. F, mobile - if memory card).  Here you will see audio, music, photo, etc.  Once here, you can get, drag and drop a file on your computer.  Make sure that you create one or more folders for your files on your computer.

The same also applies if the transfer of files from your computer to your phone.

I find that this method is better than to sync the phone.

I hope it will work for you.  Let me know if it doesn't.

  • How to transfer info from old phone again?

[[New here, so if it is in the area of the wrong question, please excuse and refer me]]

Does anyone know how can I transfer info (the icon on the desktop, Favorites, files, data connections, folders, etc.) of my old laptop Acer Aspire 5532 with Windows7/IE10 [WiFi] - and two USB ports broken - to a new Dell Inspiron 15-3520 laptop with Windows 8/IE10 [WiFi]?  I'm not very computer literate, but has been able to implement the new Dell for the wireless internet, part & old enamel work very well on two laptops.  But I'm totally clueless on how to move the type above of the info to the new laptop, especially if you consider the USB ports broken on the old Acer.  Is it possible for me to handle the task without ruining everything?  I have similar responses, but not with my features, so I'm scared to death to try without a specific response to my OSes, versions, etc.   Can someone guide me through, or do I pay Geek Squad or someone to do?  Would be deeply grateful for all help - oh and please follow the simple instructions!  Thank you very much. / /

You should be able to transfer your files and folders with no problems, using a flash/USB.

Note. Only files and folders can be transferred, all programs and applications must be reinstalled from their records, or downloaded from the site of the publishers.

I have a tracphone manufactured by motorola and you want to download pictures of her

    Hi paulmoore7355,

If your phone comes with a USB cable, connect the camera to the computer. The computer should recognize the camera and allow you to browse the storage on the camera device, usually a SD card. The storage device would be located by clicking on Start > Computer (Workstation, depending on the version of Windows you have installed) > right click on the device and select Open. You can select and copy / paste the photos to the computer.

Let us know if that helps.

  • How to transfer contacts from another phone to my Droid?

I need help transferring my contact information for a phone to my Droid, out there, can someone help me?

If your previous phone was through Verizon, then you can use Backup Assistant. Follow the directions in this thread... There are a few key elements that Albi left in its response.

Also, if your phone is not a Verizon phone, then you can just go back to the Verizon store and ask them to use their device to transfer contact. The seller of Verizon that you bought your Droid by should have offered you.

    Hello

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.

As I understood it, you want to know how to transfer photos from phone android to the computer.

    Certainly, I understand your concern.

I would suggest trying the following steps and check if that helps.

    1. Download and install the USB drivers for your smartphone to your computer.
    2. Insert one end of the cable into the USB connector on your smartphone mini mini USB sync and the other end to a USB port on your computer.
    3. On your smartphone, hold and drag the notification bar and tap the icon USB
    4. Press Activate USB Storage , then OK.
    5. On the computer, click Start and then click computer. The micro-SD card in your smartphone is listed as removable disk.
    6. Double-click the removable disk to open it. Double-click the DCIMfolder and following the camerafolder.
    7. Copy the photos and videos in this folder to any folder on your computer.

Important: If the removable disk does not appear in my computer, verify if the USB icon is displayed on your smartphone. If the icon is not visible, try to connect the smartphone to another USB port and follow the steps above.

  • How to transfer photos from Photoshop Album for Photoshop Elements

can someone tell me how to transfer photos I have in photoshop starter edition 3, which expired in Photoshop elements 10.

Title of the message was edited by: Brett N

In PSE10, you can try to convert your old starter edition catalog. First you have to find your old catalog, he probably has a file name that ends with psa, you need to search your computer for *.psa (probably will have to tell Windows to search in hidden folders). Then, once you have found the location in PSE10, file-> catalog-> convert and then tap it back this old catalog.

Furthermore, your pictures are not stored in PSA Starter Edition 3. They are stored on your hard drive, somewhere, anywhere where you put them. So you can always get to your photos like that if you want to.
