How to transform an existing page in a master?

Accidentally, I started my design on the homepage instead of master. Now, I want to use this page as the master. Is there a way to do this?

    I think that your posToInsertAt for IPageCmdData::Set is incorrect.

    If the doc does not have facing Pages, posToInsertAt = 1;

    If doc is facing Pages and page insertion is the left-hand Page, posToInsertAt = 2;

    If doc is facing Pages and insert page is the right Page, posToInsertAt = 1;

    posToInsertAt = spread-> GetNumPages();

  • How to change the page numbers after adding & save page numbers in the pdf document - need to change the existing page printed on the upper right in the header numbers

    How to change the page numbers after you add and save the page numbers in the pdf document - need to change the existing page printed on the upper right in the header numbers.

    These page numbers were initially created using Acrobat PDF header and footer.

    I have a 750 page pdf document that I've created.

    I have to sometimes the pages up and down after that I added the page numbers in the document by using the Header_Footer tool on the right column of tools.

    But after you save the document, if I get a few pages around, I can't go back and change the page numbers.

    I thought that the page numbers, as indicated in the header and footer must have changed automatically, but I guess that once its print, that it cannot be edited - is that, as what is?

    So I guess we should always first get a copy without numbers of pages before confirming the documents and the creation of an index.

    A way to remove these page numbers already there and add new page numbers.

    Its a lot of work to align 750 court documents and then realize that you must move some and then realize the page numbers cannot be changed and thus begin to do this all over again to compile which can take about 10 hours.

    My question is quite simple, but I hope that overall, I got my point. Sorry if I made it is too complex.

    If no simple way, want to know if anyone has another different tool or a few recommendations to better highlight what I'm doing wrong.

    Thank you for your review and response.

    You should be able to update with tools - Pages - header & foot-

    Update... It not work for you?

    If this isn't the case, then try to remove from this menu and then re - adding them.

  • How to create a new page to an existing page?

    Hello

    I know that there is a way to create a new Web page for my site, using the same layout from the other pages. What is the workflow for the same presentation? With copy and paste the code, I might add.

    Thank you!

    Jbug

    You can open an existing page and select file > save as to make an exact duplicate, save under a different name and then add the new content.

    If you work with DW templates, a .dwt file will exist in a models folder in your site. You choose file > New > Page from the model and choose the .dwt file make a child page.

  • How to detect if the page is a reload or not?

    I have a form in the cfm page if the user submits the form, I don't want to go to another page. I want to reload the page and I'll capture all values and send the data in this way. However, I need to hide the form once the user submits the form. So, how I detect if the page is a reload (after is submitted) or it's the first time it is been charged?

    You can manage only two ways. One, add a hidden field to the form that passes a value, then check if the value exists in the URL/FORM variables (if it exists, the page is reloaded by sending the form - if it does exist, it's the first load of the page).

    Perhaps a better approach would be to manage the form via an AJAX request is sent, and then hide the form if the AJAX request is successful. This all is possible using JavaScript. The advantage is that the user leaves the page never actually or it recharges.

  • How can I enter a page break? (CS5)

    I have a routine that reads an XML file and creates an identity document. How can I create a page break by adding to the current PointInsertion? I tried with

    story.insertionPoints.lastItem () .silence += SpecialCharacters.pageBreak;

    but these special characters seem to apply only to the XML format. What is the alternative? -J' use ID CS5.

    It's not InDesign does it, but rather the Javascript syntax. Oh... and a little of yours as well.

    An element of 'content' can be an enumeration SpecialCharacters - a number - or a text string. The way that you are referring to the existing element, you can either get: If the last character is represented as one of the special characters, you get a number. If this isn't the case, you get a chain.

    So what happens, using the operator '+' and a number on something which you are not sure what type it is?

    1. If you get a string in the back, you are in trouble, because forbidden Javascript adding number to string. If the string cannot be forced to a number (and usually he can't), then the number is converted to a string. String of numbers is the set of its numbers, and therefore, logically, adding 'SpecialCharacters.pageBreak' to a random string adds the characters '1397778242 '.

    2. If you get a return number, you're in trouble even more! Suppose that has already happened to a value of "Special characters" listed on this last position - say, a half-quadratín ("SpecialCharacters.EN_DASH"). Its digital representation - that is returned if you ask it - is 1397059140. Guess what happens if you use "+=" to ADD the number 1397778242 (your page break, don't forget) him? You get the 2794837382 value, which, uh, will appear as such. ID does not he "is" the value of an en dash, added to the value of a page break. It's just a number.

    What is the difference when you use text strings? Generally, the following construction works:

    story.insertionPoints.lastItem().contents += 'hello happy world!';

    .. but not always! It will fail when the content of this last PointInsertion... one of the SpecialCharacters values. And when you do that, you get the same as above (and only the other way around).

    It works when you use a direct assignment '=' as you can assign either a string value or a single character SpecialCharacter enumeration.

  • How to create a blank page "In WHITE"?

    Is there a way to create a blank page really? that is when I try to create a blank page I still end up with the bar of "TAP" displayed? Maybe the question should be how to remove the TAP bar if I have no use for it?

    Thank you.

  • Create a new page from scratch template (or copy an existing page template)
  • Delete all the HTML code (with the exception of the channels of bult - in substitution) from the sections header , body and footer you want to be loaded. You can keep the chains of substitution of region and chains of substitution of form-closing and opening and the body-head tags. If you need the JS and CSS files to load (they are anyway not going to display), delete the ones that you would not use/reference in this page.
  • Use the new page template for all these pages "whites."

    How to do a two-page spread in photo books?

    Hi Myrte Veach,

    If you want to add pages to your photo book project, please follow the steps below.

    Add, remove and rearrange the pages of book

    You can add, remove, or reorder pages from the book. You can insert new pages anywhere in a book, except between the cover on the outside and the inside cover page.

    Note: A book must have an even number of pages. If the change in the number of pages creates an odd number of pages, Photos automatically adds or removes a blank page to keep the number of pages to an even number.

    Click project on the toolbar, and then double-click the book.

    Do one of the following:

    Add a page: select the page you want the new page to follow, and then click Add a Page in the toolbar and choose Add a Page.

    Set the number of pages in a book: click on the book settings button in the toolbar and drag the number of Pages.

    Remove a page from a book: click on the page to select and press DELETE, or click on the button Add a Page in the toolbar, select the Page to delete, then click on continue. You can also click on the page, select the Page to delete, then click on continue.

    Move a page in a book: rest the pointer over a page number until the page button, and then drag the button on the page to move the page to a new location. You can also select a page, and then drag the button to the page.

    Create a photo book

    The link above will give you a lot of information on the creation of your Photo book. Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. Good day.

    I installed 5.6.2 Pages but all my old documents will open with ' 08 v.3.03 How can I remove the Pages ' 08 and update all the old documents

    5 pages is located in your Applications folder.

    Pages ' 08 is located in your Applications/iWork ' 08 folder.

    If you open your old documents Pages ' 08 with 5 Pages it will convert and if not damage, remove a large number of useful features.

    You will probably regret upgrading to 5 Pages which Apple has made extremely inconsistent and keeps changing its file format.
