How to type a space on an OLD iPod touch?

I recently bought an iPod touch to a rummage sale. I was told this is one of the models of first or second contact. Model MR623LL. Using the Apple support page they don't even list the model number so I can not know what generation he is. It cannot be updated, there is no option to update. It will be OK for what I want.

I can't understand how to type a space between the keyboard, which I won't do. None of you do not know how? This model so old that you could not use a you_had_to_do_this_instead of space? I show my age

Googling does not return and strikes for an iPod model MR623LL

If there is iOS 2.2.1 it is very likely that the original iPod

It's a space downstairs bar like on a keyboard.

If you want to just load up on music and do not load on apps and leave about 4 GB of free space for a reliable operation of iOS and depending on the quality of encoding, compression of data or not, of anywhere, at least 4000 songs and, eventually, up to perhaps 8 000 songs or, approx.

My new, 6th gen iPod Touch, 64 GB of storage (56 GB of usable storage space) has my music library complete on this subject with about 2000 songs that use 16 GB of storage on my device

I use the best encoding settings formats AIFF or Apple Lossless quality.

I have about 23 GB of free storage space.

So I wouldn't be able to get up for another 2500 songs or so, if I use another 20 GB of free space for the music, for a CA.  total of 4500 songs.

  • iPhoto 9.5.1 (via iTunes) does not see pictures on my old iPod Touch

    Hello

I'm retiring from my old iPod Touch (2nd generation - iPod 2.1, 32 GB, A1288).   Specifically, I'm transferring all of the pictures of her.

    I use iTunes (12.3.2) on my MacBook (2.9 GHz Core i7 (I7 - 3520M), 750GB, A1278) performer of the Mavericks 10.9.5.

iTunes did recognize the iPod and detects music, movies, Podcasts. (I don't have TV shows, books, or audiobooks on my iPod, so not sure if iTunes should detect those).

However, iPhoto (9.5.1) only detects my Photos stored on the iPod. It is not the photo library, last import iPhoto, 12 months or one of my albums.

These photos are inaccessible with this version of iPhoto?

    Thank you - Robin

  • How to synchronize old iPod Touch iPhone 5s?

So my brother-in-law wants to synchronize all the songs on his iPod Touch 3rd generation (the latest update it is iOS 4.1.2.)  for its 5s iPhone (which has just updated to 9.3.4) so that I get to do this, he had to completely erase her device. It seems that "backup devices" and "Peripheral Restoring to factory settings" is not (speaking ironically) my forte and I'm so swamped. I want to do everything I can to help. Someone know how to sync the old data from an older device with an older iOS software to device to a newer iOS software without erasing an iCloud account? As anyone knows of any third party free 100% software I could use to achieve this? Help, please!

Just the 'data' want to synchronise?

I suspect that the iPod is really an iPod 2G, because those who can go as high as 4.2.1. 5.1.1 can go 3G.

You can recovery from iPhone music namely computer application to computer free iFunbox. Then synchronize with the iPhone.

An Apple device can synchronize with a computer. To change computer yo have to restore the iPod on another computer. Also note that the backup did not include media synchronized as apps and songs.

  • How to disable iCloud on iTunes and my iPod Touch

I have a serious frustration with iCloud and my iPod Touch (latest generation).   I have purchased music from iTunes and download on my IPod with no problem.    The problem arises when I play the iPod to my bluetooth speaker.   The music will not play unless I have Wi Fi.  This has never happened before, and it seems to be associated with the songs that have the symbol of iCloud.   Is this true?  Subsequently, I have the WiFi?    I use my speaker for iPod/blue tooth when I'm on my bike.   Last year I logged on my bike nearly 1500 miles of road.  I desperately need my songs.

When you see a track with the iCloud on this symbol, it means that the track has NOT been downloaded on your device. That's why you need Wi - Fi to listen to.

You can download the tracks you want when you're connected, or you can activate iCloud music library iTunes is in the settings and preferences.

  • How can I synchronize an old iPod nano to another mac that it has been implemented on?

My father has an old iPod nano but it is worried, it may be seeing its last days. It has set up with the original computer no longer works, so he wants to save it on my computer. We share the same account iTunes, but none of his music has never been on my computer since I logged in. also, I had to change the email and our apple ID password because the original is no longer an email existed. I said he could use my old iPod touch (backup restore) that might be more reliable, but I do not know how to back up his iPod nano without erasing any data.

iTunes synchronization is generally one-way, from computer to iPod.  If the songs were purchased from the iTunes Store, and your ID shared Apple was used to buy, you can download them again (at no cost) from the screen purchase ; on the main screen of the iTunes Store, the link to the screen bought is along the right side of the window.  There is also a command in iTunes to transfer items purchased - menu bar->-> appliances-> transfer purchases of [name of the iPod] file.

Otherwise, there are methods and third party utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer.  If you do an Internet search on something as 'ipod transfer music', you should get a few useful links, including a CNET article on the subject.

Once the files of the song on the drive of your Mac, add them to your iTunes library.
