  I have a Satellite A200. It came with Vista Premium, but I've since upgraded to Ultimate. It came with a 60 day trial of Office 2007, which I'm not interested. I installed Office XP (that works). However the emails etc. documents will be opening in Word 2007. Installation because this causes an error, even if it still seems to work when you get rid of the error message.

  What I really want to do, is to uninstall the trial. However he won't let me - it goes through 'Preparation to uninstall' and then disappears and nothing has changed and the program is still there.   Usually, you should be able to remove applications in Windows Vista-> software settings.

  What you could do is to remove the whole Office 2007. The Office usually remains files here:
  C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office

  Then you can use a 3rd party freeware application called CCleaner to clean the registry!
