How to uninstall PowerShell when it is not in Add/Remove list even w / 'show updates' checked?

I have powershell on my Start menu, but it does not appear in Add/Remove, even w / 'show updates' checked.  I checked for updates kb926139, kb926140 and kb926141. None of those appear no more, even w / 'show updates' ticked.  I tried to run, type appwiz.cpl, 'show updates' with the same result.  I don't want or need this program and wish to get rid of him, if I can do it easily and safely.  Not a user experienced, so I can't go digging around in my directory for the files, because I know not even how to get into the directory!  Can anyone help?  Have xpsp3

He is listed as Windows Powershell. Maybe you just looked for Powershell. You were just to check the brand of show updates.

Original title: my "unknown device" is a printer I own is no longer!

To solve the problem "code 28", I have to re - install the driver for HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 - but the printer is no longer installed, and in fact I is even more has the printer.  The HP printer appears on the screen "devices and printers", but when I click on the yellow triangle on my laptop device, it brings me to the unidentified printer and the hardware - MF\Officejet_Pro_8500_A910 & WSD & IP_PRINT ID.  How can I uninstall a printer that is not installed, or how can I update the driver on a printer that is not installed.

Thanks for reminding me about MalwareBytes and SuperAntiSpyware.  I used MalwareBytes a few years ago to kill a particularly tenacious virus that prevented me from my virus program execution.  I ran the two--identified only 4 files MalwareBytes and removed and SuperAntiSpyware found 286 tracking cookies - I zapped them.

Now, the best news of all...

Child of a friend's House of the college - he won grants and national contest for his expertise in computers/software diagnosis and repairs as a sophomore in high school.  He stopped on the way back to decipher problems with computers on the local school district and spent every three minutes solving my problem.  I don't really know what he was doing - he did so quickly - but he said to send you the link and you will understand it better than I could explain it.

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/remove-old-drivers-after-upgrading-to-new-hardware/

The yellow warning triangle disappeared, and the unidentified printer is no longer there.

I want to thank all those who contributed to this thread - your persistence and patience has been remarkable.  I learned a lot from the experience even if I was not able to completely solve the problem.  I congratulate you all.

If you use OS X Lion mountain 10.8.5 as indicated in your signature, the latest version of Safari you might install is Safari 6.2.8 and it is no longer supported.

Your options are to be upgraded to a later version of OS X or use a browser that is still supported. The current version of Firefox is still supported, but which is also coming to an end: https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2016/04/29/update-on-firefox-support-for - os - x /

    Hello

    ·         What operating system do you use?

    ·         You get the error message?

Follow these methods and check if that helps.

    Method 1:

There is a 'Rapid Product Removal Tool' from Microsoft which can be used to remove the programs that we are not able to remove it by using the functionality of the program.

  • How to uninstall windows xp, it is not in my add and remove programs

I got a new hard drive put in my computer 4 years ago, it runs really bad now the guy installed xp professional, I can't do a system restore, I want to uninstall xp and install again but it is not in my Add Remove programs so I don't know how to uninstall it, can anyone help?

The only way to "Uninstall" an operating system is to delete or format the partition on which it is installed.

After saving all the data you want to keep, simply boot from the Windows XP installation CD.  You will be offered the possibility to delete, create, and format partitions as part of the installation process. (You may need to rearrange the order of the boot devices in the PC BIOS to boot from the CD.)

  • How to uninstall a program that is not in the category 'Programs' from the Panel control?

The program I'm trying to uninstall is a game called 'Purble Place' and it was already installed in my computer. I want to uninstall it because it seems to me a bit too childish and not very interesting. I tried to find it in the control panel in the category 'Programs', but it was not and I could not find a solution in the internet, even not in the "help and Support Program". Does anyone know how to uninstall the game (and maybe installed programs that are not listed in "Uninstall programs")?

    Hello, James R, P

It would be prudent to remove entries from the registry and the values for Purble Place. It doesn't hurt also to them to leave because they don't refer to any program since you already have you have already uninstalled the software.

I hope this helps answer your question.
