How to uninstall Windows live essentials so when I try to reinstall all of them appear as the installation options?

I'm using IE8 and windows live essentials. I tried to uninstall windows live essentials and it was no problem. When I downloaded the game to reinstall again had the options to reinstall one of them with the exception of one who was not installed. How can I clean uninstall live essentials so everything is reinstalled again?

Hello godsdragon,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

It shows that you have a corruption in your file system.
Run the System File Checker:

Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannow

This will check for any violation of the integrity and repair any damaged operating system files.

Restart your system

Then try again and download and install Windows Installer Cleanup Tool. Click here to download the utility.
You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Remember that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on.

If this does not work uninstall, reinstall the program and then try to uninstall again. Usually, this will help to eliminate all aspects of the programs.

I hope this helps.

  • uninstall Windows live essentials

I am on Windows 7 with a 64-bit laptop DV7. I have problems with Windows Live Mail, because when I click on the Inbox, sent. deleted etc, nothing happens. The only way I can get to my mail is to use 'Find' or to go to my Plusnet account. This is a nuisance. I have been informed through groups of Microsoft users that the best way to overcome this problem is to uninstall windows Live Essentials and instructions on how to do are on the Microsoft Web site. However, when I try I can't bring up the windows that would allow me to do. (see "how to remove and reinstall Windows Live Rssentials - I can't past 3 and" can't not "Uninstall") Could it be because there is a slight modification to the Hp software please, and if so someone can tell me how I can uninstall and then reinstall. Otherwise, it seems now that I'll have to go through the pain of complete recovery to try to resolve the problem. For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. GordonW

  • Windows live photos freezes when I try to import photos

Windows live photos freezes when I try to import photos from a directory on my removable disk. In fact, it freezes every time I try to do anything.

I tried to do it with PICASA and it does the same thing.

However, when I open it in safe mode, it works fine.

    Help, please.

    Hi zl1940,

    (1) if it works well before?

    (2) remember to make changes?

I suggest you try the following steps:

Method 1: You can run the fixit available in the article below

Windows Live Photo Gallery freezes or cannot start

Cannot download albums in Windows Live Photo Gallery after upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7

    Important
this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
How to back up and restore the registry in Windows

Method 2: Clean boot the computer, and check to see if the problem persists

Follow step 1 in the link below,

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.

After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

Important: n ' forget not the computer to start normal follow step 7 in the link.

If the problem persists, please repost your query on the Forum Windows Live

  • How to uninstall Windows Live Messenger in Windows 7

I need to uninstall Messenger. When I installed MSN and clicking 'custom installation' I hope I have the opportunity to choose, but they DO you have messenger. WHY?

I disabled the 'sign' page in and in 'options', but again, the window opens and connect automatically when I log in MSN.  This is a nusance, why they just assume you want to converse. I never do.

Help, please. From what I can tell from these forums (I've not seen one for Windows 7), it must be hard to do, and the first thing usually does not work. Could you please be patient with me to help me get rid of this?

    Thank you very much.
