  Recently, I moved my library of Photos from a hard drive on the mac. I am only looking at these photos, just what is on iCloud is duplicate or irrelevant.   You get warned about 'incomplete elements', if you use iCloud photo library with the option "Optimize Mac Storage".  In this case, some of the photos of your IDP photo library are only in smaller versions optimized on your Mac and full resolution originals are only in iCloud.  Photos tells you, that he may not use small, optimized versions of the pictures and need to remove them and needs to download full icloud versions. When you try to use a copy of a photo library with optimized versions and do not your iCloud photo library, Photos will remove elements optimized library, because the originals are not available with iCloud disabled for this copy. You can't prevent it.

  Ive tried for days to figure this out, but I can't. Im not well versed with photoshop, so Im coming to the community here for help. I'm not a master of the modalities and tools either so I might be a little slow.

  Im trying to get a logo for my business friends to go on top of a background image, then, in a way show the background image, leaving just the logo image within the limits and then empty space around the logo. I have an example that someone from another forum has tried to do for me to walk through, but he stopped helping me all of a sudden.

  Yes. I did not attempt to achieve something more than a rough estimate, but I think it took about an hour to complete a library of about 1000 photos.

  When it's over... it's pretty amazing, but I'm not a professional photographer. Photos is no more than a simple organizational tool. For a person of 100 000 photographs you probably already an organization plan, then perhaps you will not find these automatic features also useful as I do.
