  • How to use 2 USB modems(3g) in vista to speed

    Hi friends,
In our region we have only wireless ISP, so no way for ADSL or ADSL modem wired.

I have 2 modem USB Huawei E1732 7.2 Mbit/s, both work well when it is connected to only one at a time...

but when I connect the two, I am able to connect only :(

so any solution for the usb modems using 2 at the same time to increase my speed...?

No you can not connect 2 together. I do not know your model, but it must apply for a sim card.

So if you you connected 2 all you would pay for the 2 data plans.

I care for you using a Huawei USB Internet key with a Max download speed (when the signal is full) of 21.6 Mbit/s.

Because yours is perhaps 7.2 Mbps, you should look for a model that has 21.6 Mbps

I like you live in a region where only one cell is available as my house is at the top of a mountain.

I also use a key USB Internet of Sierra that is more reliable than the Huawei (21.6 also) but with the Huawei speed is faster when the signal is weak.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to answer voice calls using built-in modem and dialer Windows in Vista Ultimate?

How can I answer incoming voice calls using Dialer Windows in Vista Ultimate.  I can make outgoing UST fine voice using Dialer calls, but I don't see any option to answer incoming calls.

    Hi Dobrodaddy,

The option to receive calls through dialer.exe is not available in Windows Vista and 7, as it was in Windows XP. You can use a third-party software for this task.

Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to use my Verizon Storm 9530 with my laptop to connect to Internet?

I have a Verizon Storm 9530 and subscribe to the $30 data plan that allows me to connect to the Internet from the device.  I also read that the device can also be used as a modem with a laptop to connect to Internet.  I don't understand this.  How does this work?  Is the work of mobile phone as a dial-up modem?  Or just connect my ISP (Time Warner Cable)?  I use a connection broadband at home, but it does not help when I am away from my home.

Can someone please explain how to use the 9530 with my Dell Notebook PC to connect to the Internet?

    How does it work?

    What hardware do I need?

    What software do I need?

How do I put in place?

Do I need to purchase any additional VZN service?

    Do I need VZ access?

Please explain in detail.  Thank you.

  • How to use FaceTime with Siri

I you would Siri have been able to dial phone numbers using FaceTime, so my question is, is it possible? And if so, how?

    Hey MichaelnAvallone,

Thank you for reaching out to help through Apple Support communities. Looks like you are wanting to make calls FaceTime with Siri. If so, I'd be happy to explain how to make this happen. First, you'll want to press on and hold the Home button or say "Hey Siri" to activate Siri. Then, for example, you can simply say, "make an audio call FaceTime to MOM" and Siri will only start a FaceTime call audio. If you say 'FaceTime Mom' Siri will begin a FaceTime call with video of this contact.

The link below shows the ways to learn how to use Siri.

Use Siri on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    Kind regards.

  • Dial up modem

I have a Pavillion laptop 113TU g6. I have a wireless internet reception shit and my telephone exchange can support ADSL, looking to dial up a backup. (Yes, I live in bedrock).

Can someone tell me if my computer has a built in modem dial-up, or how do you know?

    Thanks, perplexed user.

    Hi @Widgetinthewind ,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook g6 and wanted to know about a dial-up modem. This unit has capabilities wireless and Ethernet only, sorry.

But you can buy an external Dial - up 56 K * USB. If you Google what it will show you different devices that connect USB.

    Thank you.

  • I use a wireless modem to get on the internet at Virgin Mobile Broadband2Go device. Is it possible for some to get access to my PC, when this device is active?

    I have 2 questions:

    1. I use a wireless modem to get on the internet at Virgin Mobile Broadband2Go device. Is it possible for some to get access to my PC, when this device is active?

    2. I think that someone is due to ghosting my PC. On my registry, I have 2 of the following: iexplore.exe attributed to administrator. Then I have an explorer.exe attributed to administrator. I have 6 svchost.exe running 2 assigned the Local, 2 assigned to network service and 2 running service attributed to the system. Can anyone provide an answer why I have these multiples, exe running on my registry?

    Thank you very much

    Hello

Yes, it is possible to gain access to your computer; but not without your permission. The firewall on the computer prevents any unauthorized entry. Refer to the following articles.

    What is a firewall?

    Windows Firewall

How will I know if a wireless network is secure?

When you say "Record" do you mean "Services" in the Windows Task Manager. Its common to have these processes or services to run in the background.
    'iexplore.exe' means 'Internet Explorer'.
    'explorer.exe' means 'Windows Explorer'.

    What is svchost.exe?

You can scan your computer with MSE to check the virus or malware if it affects your performance.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Hope this information is useful.
