  • How to get a list of all the pipes in a ThinApp

    I have a simple program to list all files in a folder.  I use it to get a list of named pipes by the way
    \\.\pipe\*as the argument, but it does not work if I Pack the program as a fine application.  I get the error code 3 (ERROR_PATH_NOT_FOUND).  I tried to use CreateFile on
    \\.\pipe\but he also failed when running as a ThinApp. Are their ways to get a list of all the pipes in a ThinApp?  Here is the source code.

    #include <windows.h>
    #include <tchar.h>
    #include <stdio.h>

    #include "stdafx.h"

    int main(int argc, char* argv[])
    {
       WIN32_FIND_DATA FindFileData;
       HANDLE hFind;

       if( argc != 2 )
       {
              _tprintf(TEXT("Usage: %s [target_file]\n"), argv[0]);
              return -1;
       }

       _tprintf (TEXT("Target file is %s\n"), argv[1]);

       hFind = FindFirstFile(argv[1], &FindFileData);
       if (hFind == INVALID_HANDLE_VALUE)
       {
              printf ("FindFirstFile failed (%d)\n", GetLastError());
              return -1;
       }
       else
       {
              _tprintf (TEXT("The first file found is %s\n"),
                   FindFileData.cFileName);

              BOOL nextFile = FindNextFile(hFind, &FindFileData);

              while (nextFile)
              {
                   _tprintf (TEXT("The next file found is %s\n"),
                             FindFileData.cFileName);

                   nextFile = FindNextFile(hFind, &FindFileData);
              }

              FindClose(hFind);
       }

       return 0;
    }

    OK, so what about the original example of FindFirstFile, if I try with 4.6 it does not work for me. I use 6 VC to create the application and then add it to the cmd project and then rebuild. I tried these combinations:

    App.exe \\.\pipe\* (this works)

    App.exe \\.\pipe\ (this does not work, in native mode as it does not work)

    App.exe //./pipe/* (this works)

    App.exe //./pipe/ (this does not work, in native mode as it does not work)

    can you tell me about the results you get when you try the above?

    Thank you.

  • Alphabetical list of all the songs in my library

    How can I my iTunes to list my songs alphabetically by song title, so I can scroll on the air, I want to play fast using the letters to the right of the screen?

    If you use the music app on your iPhone, all songs must be sorted by alphabetical order automatically.

    If you use the iTunes on Mac, I suggest you by clicking 'Name' to the list in alphabetical order of all the songs.

  • How to get a list of all the tags of XMLElement

    (CS5, Win7 64 bit)

    I need a list of all unique XML tag names in a given document (just as the Panel tags in InDesign itself).

    I couldn't find a 'normal' way (builtin - in the property or method) to obtain the information. Instead, I found that I had to process recursively through the entire tree of XMLElement, starting with the root element. For a large document, it can take almost a quarter of an hour, and sometimes I have to do it for a book of InDesgin INDD files huge more than a decade.

    There MUST be a better way, right?

    It would be better if I was done through all the PageItems in the document and then recurse XMLElement each PageItem l‟arbre? I guess that would not make a difference to fade way.

    I'm open to suggestions...

    OK, so the problem is that you have not allowed access to any data dictionary table. If you want to be able to view all of the DBA_ * dictionary of data tables, you need the ADMINISTRATOR to grant you the privilege to CHOOSE ANY DICTIONARY.

    In the future, when you post an error message, in addition to displaying the error message, it will be useful if you can get the error number, for example, that is, ORA-xxxxx

  • How can I view a list of all my devices in sync

    I can successfully add and remove devices from my sync account, but there seems to be no option to view a list of all my devices synced.

    Unfortunately, there is no 'standard' method to do, more than a workaround solution. If you synchronize tabs, you can enter Subject: sync-tabs in the address bar or the button Firefox-> history-> tabs from other devices. I just tested with the new Firefox sync in Aurora and impossible to find a more practical method either.

  • How to get a list of all files/folders on the Sansa Clip +.

    Hello

    I have a lot of MP3s on my Clip +, but realize that I put there duplicates in different folders. My plan was to use a command prompt to get a list of all the files on the device, and then use a utility that shows me duplicate names and the locations of the files. I could then simply delete the Clip +.

    The problem, it is that the Clip + is simply presented as a 'portable' in Windows Explorer (Windows 7 Home) - there is no way to assign a drive letter :-( Which seems a bit odd, as it is, after all, plugged into one of my USB ports... I used the dir command on all drives assigned in my computer as "devices with removable storage". One of them must be the port to which the Clip + is attached, but they all say "device is not ready". So the Clip + is not identified in this way.

    Is it possible at all to get a list of the files that are on the Clip +?

    Thank you!

    That's how the Clip + shows when connected in USB MTP mode.  If you connect mode MSC (defined in the control panel), Clip + comes as a disk.

    But: the problem you have is, Windows displays only the files that have been transferred in the Clip + under USB mode then logged in as.  I don't know if this applies to designated offices, but - you could try and see.

    Another solution would be to copy all of your files on your computer, under MTP mode; Delete the files on the Clip +. move the Clip + mode MSC; and then transfer the files to the Clip +.  Now, you should be able to see the files under Windows (always connected in MSC mode) and can run the utilities that you had planned.

    I hope this helps.

  • How can I generate a list of all the albums I have in my music library

    How can I generate a list of all the albums I have in my music library

    See http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-sound/how-to-print-a-list-of-items-in-the-window-media/6490fe4f-bb0e-4afa-97ca-3ce58c3aaeba

    but, if you only do this several times, you can use this procedure instead:

    Open a command prompt in your folder music [shift-right click on the name of the folder in the Windows Explorer & select a window of commands here]

    Run the dir/ad/b /s > AlbumList.txt

    Then open the text file in Word and he put away: -.

    Replaceyourusernamewith Nothing \Music\ C:\Users\

    Replace-with ^ t [the code of the tab]

    Select all, convert table to use the trademarks of the tab as column separators

    Select column 1 [the artists], and delete

    If there is garbage in all 3 columns - go just delete the columns thus

    That should leave a unique list of album names

  • The list of all the paths of the Subvi (expected)

    Hello

    I reconstruct a relatively large application (say a unique and main VI) to restore a little chunks from other builds, completely perhaps a few or several thousands of VI.  The nomenclature of hierarchy of folder of the component of the generations is not quite logical and there is a certain cross linking or duplication between the Subvi is based.

    Ideally, to get the organized entire application and later for documentation purposes, I would like to be able to generate a list of files of all THE sous-de in the main VI VI.  I don't know about this gem:

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/LabVIEW/paths-of-the-called-files-how-to-see-them/m-p/2721289/highlight/true...

    However, this version is underway and I can't run the main VI for a list that said by the way, for most because it will not run if Subvi are missing, some as a deep layer (on the block diagram of the main VI), others several layers down.  Be able to get a list from which it EXPECTED these s Subvi being would be extremely useful to solve this problem.

    Is it possible, without running a VI, to view a list of all filepaths expected of all the sous-de VI?  In the interest of the future organization/documentation, it would be nice if it was a list of these TWO sub - VI that were found as well as (MANY) - VI I say to ignore when loading to load the main VI.

    Thank you!

    A few THOUSAND screws? It is not big enough, so huge! In fact, it is much too big - I don't like what he does.

    You look at starting over.

    I do not share this statement.  Several projects, I would call medium-sized loading screw 4,000 in memory, probably about 2,000 or more have been written for the project and the others were the user.lib, toolboxes, variousl library and the vi.lib.

    If you add your VI to a project, you can go to the files tab, and it will show you the structure of all code depenedency records.  Of course, if the screws are missing it cannot tell where on the disc these dependencies have been loaded from.  From LabVIEW 2014 NOR has the ability to know the load path planned to miss the screws you see when you open help in a missing VI context.  In the Help window will tell you the planned trajectory.

    But I still don't see why this function may not work for you.  I tried it and he found the projected paths of components on a broken main VI.
