Today, I tried to install it on my new Macbook, there is no unit of DVD, so I copied the files on a SD card and put that in the Mac and began to install.   Disc 1 contains the installer for 32-bit Windows.

  Disc 2 contains the installer for Windows 7 64-bit.

  Disc 3 contains the installer for mac OS.

  Disc 4 is the content of the disc for Windows Adobe Premiere Elements.

  Disc 5 is the content of the disc Adobe Premiere Elements for Mac OS.

  For some reason, it seems that an essential file for Photoshop organizer has been removed. I suspect a disk cleanup utility for being a bit overzealous. Anyway, the damage is done.

  When I try to start organizing, I get a message telling me that it cannot begin to cause 'DetectionUtils.dll' cannot be found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. From the editor is not a problem however.

  I was trying to reinstall Photoshop Elements, but when I run the setup the only option I have is uninstall Photoshop as the installer, just as Windows thinks that Photoshop is still installed on my computer.

  My catalog is huge: I have tagged 26 000 + pictures and videos. I don't want to lose him. Of course, I have backups, but I want to go back into Photoshop.

  So, what are my options? How I can manage to get Photoshop 8.0 work again with my catalog?

  The simplest solution would be to be able to download the Detectionutils.dll file and install it, but where can I download and where to save?

  Uninstalling/reinstalling doesn't change or interfere with your catalog somehow. It will be there after the re - install.
