How we can search for files in the Webcenter 11.1.1.6 content?

Hello

I have a requirement for a client where they want to use the advanced search of the AAU to search for files (not articles).

Version: Webcenter content 11.1.1.6

Contribution using folder_g files

I founded a model pre-built for searching for files. The name is COLLECTION_GET_SEARCH_FORM

Here is an example of this model and it works

http://euedocs.emersonprocess.co.UK/idcplg?IdcService=COLLECTION_GET_SEARCH_FORM

When I try this service on my own content instance Webcenter, the model is loaded. But when I click on search, nothing happens.

The drop-down lists containing ' Contains/pairing /...» "they are also not responsible.

I did some research on the Support of Oracle and I created this article:

Limits for fast searching of the Collaboration of records(1071778.1)

https://support.Oracle.com/epmos/faces/UI/km/SearchDocDisplay.JSPX?returnToSrId= & srnum = & _afrLoop = 418199051953706 & type = c...

I'm still stuck on this issue. What configurations are absent?

Is someone can help me?

Thank you very much.

I contacted support. Here's the answer:

Hello

The feature you're looking for is something that is not currently present out-of-box.

He used to work in the classic configuration only, the way back.

And 11 g, classic layout no longer exists.

This is a request for development with our development team.

Try a smart album with the constraints "matches all of the following conditions.

    • Photo is video
    • Album is an album

    File > new Smart Album:

If you do not find all the videos, videos "MOV", includes "filename includes MOV.

    Hi agar.

    have you tried RecursiveFileList?

  • Search for files in the folder does not work

To do my photo galleries, I use CS5, because it's the last usable version by the modified galleries I could since CS3.  My modified pages have links to other pages on my web site, while those who come now with Photoshop are completely unrelated.

Thus, another feature lost in the bridges later is the ability to display the ENTIRE contents of a folder and its subfolders.  To work around this problem, I chose to show records including metadata or file name DOES NOT contain zzz, since no don't.  It worked well and I made hundreds of galleries of my trees phylogenetic species folder.

Until I came to this gallery, of the Tachinidae. I updated all my galleries of arthropods after I did the usual procedure and created the Gallery (and deleted the previous Gallery on my PC and the web), I noticed that the first image is a Belvosia and not the Archytas or other species that should have come before, in alphabetical order.  I tried again and found that it was not a lot of files in subfolders that should have come up.  I tried other finds, as all files ending in .tif, or anything that had the keyword Tachinidae, always the same result.

Then, I tried the same search in CS6 and he finds everything, but of course, I can't do my galleries here, I went back to CS5 and made a new folder TACHINIDAE 1 and moved all the files and tried again, without success.  I tried a file backup with the same result.  Reset did not help.

Today, I tried again and as he has done the research, I could see it indexing the Archytax subfolder and others which have not been included, but now, after more than 30 minutes, all I have is a circle of rotation and no element.  I had turned to other folders I did just before galleries and they shoot to the top of all images, as before, but this has stopped my progress in this project dead in my tracks.

I can't make any sense this at all.

After hours yesterday and again today on this seemingly intractable problem, I deleted the cache and restored normality!

  • search for file names with tilde character

trying to locate all the file name containing the tilde (~) character. It is obviously special for the search as a search looking for files with this character corresponds to each file. I can't find the mechanism to quote the tilde so that Windows will search for files containing the tildes in name literally.

  • Search for files in a folder of some

I want to create a smart collection (or search) with files, which are located in the folder with a given name.
