    It is likely that the indexing or defrag or some other service is running. You can use the Task Manager to check. [Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC as a way to start it.]

Install a good as a basis for security from Microsoft (free) or Kapersky (not free). Also run a check by MalwareBytes (free version) or another alternastive good.

    If you have installed a trial or paid a licensed version of Corel software products, you probably may notice a third unannounced software application makes its way into your computer too. The program is PSIService.exe by Protexis, which installs a Protexis V2 of Licensing Windows operating system service or Protexis licensing service.

    PSIService belongs to protect DRM (digital rights management) copy protection and license management software, which is intended to protect an application or software against piracy and illegal copying. Thus PSI service is normally installed by another program, such as Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X 2, Corel Paint Shop Pro XI (X 1), Corel Paint Shop Pro X, that uses its service to collect information of license to repatriate much like spyware, protect copy and authenticate the user who is using an authentic version of the program.

    When you tried to download and install the program, if the box that says closed the dialog box when the download is complete has been verified, it will close the dialog box.

    I suggest that you restart the computer and check if you get an error message.

    Looks like you have to work. The only other things are to ping the IP WRE addy (open a DOS command prompt and type ping 192.168.1.240; you should get 4 answers w / no wait times) and you now have excellent signal strength when it was marginal before. WIFI connects always to stronger signals. So, no, you can't really tell which device you are connected to your router or the WRE because they have the same SSID. I guess that you are closer to the WRE and you will get the most powerful signal, so it will connect to it. I hope this helps.

    A product key is not in the box where everyone can see.  It is a sequence of alphanumeric 25 digit of 5 sets of 5 digits separated by dashes for the operating system.  If this is the original installation, the key will be on a label on the underside of the laptop.  It has been upgraded or purchased as a product of the retail (suggested by saying you that you have a box), then the product key for the product to the retail sales would have been on a piece of paper inside the box.  The product key on the label of the laptop would have been crushed (which would have been in the computer would have been product key from the manufacturer that could not be used to enable or provide proof) by installing the retail or upgrade.  Microsoft has no idea what is your product key regardless of the case - even if you bought them (unless it was by a download and then you should have an email from their share with the product key to this topic).
