  It is Dashlane that is made to work with Firefox versions not the other way around. The message said the version of the Dashlane extension you have is not compatible with versions beta of Firefox 38.0 you are testing (38.0b9 is the current version).

  Normally, these things are designed to work with the current version at least (say Fx 37) and not built as Beta, Aurora (aka Developer Edition) development channels and nightly.

  A few days ago, I made an update of Firefox and from any Web site, I go then, I have huge, flashing, distracting ads Google work at home and the classified ads in Media Player, two malware. I managed to run a program that reduced the number of them on every page, but nothing has managed to get rid of all. Extremely annoying, is - that you can do or think could help? • Norton Vault disappeared after update by 2014 with Firefox 27.0

  I just checked my Add-ons Manager to discover that v27.0 NIS 2014 and Firefox are not compatible if Norton was disable.

  I don't know who is responsible for compatibility, but the issue must be treated quickly. I use Firefox as my default browser and everything I do must have access to Norton for my passwords. NIS 2014 has been out for awhile, so this should be addressed now.

  Hello michael, in principle it is still the task of the developer of an Add - keep it compatible with new versions of the browser.

  Norton is a salesman who usually provides an update of compatibility for its toolbars and extensions, as soon as a new version of firefox is available. Please run the liveupdate from norton repeatedly & until all components are up-to-date. Additionally, make sure that the toolbar is enabled in firefox > addons > extension thereafter.

  After the update to Firefox, my web pages are up to twice the size they were before the update. NoSquint shows that size is up to 200%. None of my old tabs show a page in a readable format. Can I change the size of each page, but if I restart Firefox, all my pages are huge again.   Hi AlaskaSalmon, deletes or renames files of parameters used actively safely are made when you exit Firefox.

  22 Firefox now adjusts the zoom level of the page according to your settings in Windows, to better support high DPI displays. If you have a medium setting (e.g. font size, 125% / 120 DPI), for example, you can expect the content area will be enlarged 25% before even that NoSquint comes into play.

  You can try disabling NoSquint and see if the new size by default, associated with the site Ctrl + and Ctrl-satisfies your needs.

  Alternatively, if you want to continue to use NoSquint and avoid this new content zoom, you can set Firefox 22 use of sizing of 100% in the content area. In this case, the area of "chrome" (menus, toolbars and tabs) won't be not either zoomed in and will appear smaller. There is an add-on for this, of course: police theme & size changer. You might want to install first and choose a font size of large size in anticipation of the next step.

  To give a try,

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the filter box, type or paste the pix and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) double-click layout.css.devPixelsPerPx and change its value 1.0 for a content area not zoomed.

  On a few days ago, I went on YouTube to upload a video. For some reason, it gave me a message that says "request invalid. Authentication has expired.
  Not only that, if I do other things such as taste/do not love a video, or add a video to my favorites or another list of reading, it is said that the service is not available.
  I also had a problem trying to respond to the other comments in the videos. Anytime I type on my comment and click the post button, it says something like "error, try again."
  Now, when it comes to other things like just watching and looking for videos, I have no problem.

  I thought it might have something to do with the latest update of Firefox, because I tried to use YouTube with other browsers and it works perfectly well, and I was not having problems with YouTube before the update.

  No idea if the update could affect something that causes these questions?

  It is probably because you are running a very updated version of Firefox. I have a TomTom, and it works very well with Firefox 15.0.1. Try to update to that and then try again.

• I continue to be offered an update of Firefox, but when I click on 'install' the bar just comes with half white, half blue round and does not install.

  I have a Macbook (bought in June 2011). Several times in recent weeks, I have been offered an update of Firefox and urged to install it.
  However when I click on OK the bar at the top of the window just goes round with the blue kind half white half of the roll and just install, no matter how long wait. That is, it never becomes the solid blue line, which should gradually fill to the top of the bar.
