HP 1102w printer

A new router and cannot connect HP 1102w printer to my laptop Mac OS X Mavericks. Can you connect USB, but it is impossible to get a wireless network to connect to the printer after hours of searching forums and trying different approaches. Any suggestions?

Hi KenBayVilla

I understand you are trying to set up the printer on the new router with Maverick.

There are two different ways to set up the printer.

I would like to reset the printer first to clear the previous network settings.
Turn the printer off, press and hold the wireless button and cancel (x button) while turning the printer on and do not release both buttons until the printer stops making the noise.
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02486112

Print a configuration report and check the ssid address and ip are disabled. (hold down the x key and when the printer makes a noise to let go of taken)

Method: Connect the printer to a wireless network using Wi - Fi Protected Setup connection. (WPS)
Follow these steps to install the printer using a compatible router WPS.
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02847467

Second method:
Configure the printer on another computer to get a valid ip address for the printer. Then on the Mac, go to the Apple, preferences system, printing and scanning, click on + and then highlight the printer, where it says use: airprint must be selected, add the printer in.

If you need more simply make assistance let me know.

I would sign up for updates from the HP driver. When available, you will be informed by e-mail.

  • Wireless, HP 1102W printer won't stop printing

When I send a print job to the printer wireless 1102W requesting a copy, it prints continuous copies until the printer is out of paper. Help! I'm running out of paper and toner...

It happens to my two computers: one using Windows XP and the other using Windows 7.

    Thank you.

This can often happen depending on how network installation has been made.  Usually, there should not be problems if you used the Install Smart or connected by the network installation CD.  Can run into problems with a Standard TCP/IP port configuration if the driver has been added another way.

Administer a test.  Basically, disable the 'bidirectional support' setting in the driver.  Here is a link to a doc:

  • LaserJet Professional P 1102w printer green light blinking, but will not be printed

I had my P of professional LaserJet 1102w for a little less than a year.  I use it very rarely and very slightly (I've probably printed total less than 25 pages).  It has always worked well.

But in the last 2 weeks, it stopped printing.  The Green led comes on, but it will not be printed.

I went through the troubleshooting diagnostic tests on my computer (HP Pavilion, Windows 7 operating system).  The result shows that my computer detects a problem, but it cannot identify it (for example, no paper jam, no toner, etc..).  I manually checked it for a paper jam too.  I have not seen any problems.  I turned off, unplugged, he turned his back.  She still does not print.  And now the green light blinks, even if I turn it off several hours ago.

    Help, please.  Thank you.

Update: I realized what it was.  My USB cable was very slightly loose.  I don't see when I checked manually the printer the first time.  But I checked a second time and just pushed him tighter.  Problem solved.

    Step 1: Uninstall the drivers:

Even if your printer prints first page initial well thanks to new wireless, there are chances that your drivers are not properly configured for the new network connection. I'll have to make sure that everything is installed and is successfully, you uninstall and then reinstall your drivers.

  • Multi-page printing on Laserjet 1102w

I use a HP Laserjet Pro printer of 1102w wireless on a home network.  The operating system is Windows 7 (64-bit).  A computer print very well and the other prints multiple pages of a single page document.  I checked the settings and I can not just understand what is the cause.  I tried to uninstall the printer and the software and reinstalled.  He moved so easily and that a page will be printed when you do a test page, but if I print from Word, I get as much as 50 and as low as 10, but never just.

If someone is familiar with this printing problem, please get back to me as soon as possible.

    Thank you!

Hi, on the computer that prints multiple copies

  • LaseJet 1102w more airprinter issues as well as config network home

I have HP Laserjet 1102w printer in my network as follows:

192.168.1.1 modem ADSL in my room--> 192.168.1.2 TPLINK TL-WR941ND in my room--> 192.168.1.3 TPLINK TL-WR1043ND (AS A REPEATER) in my office to another floor of my house. The printer is in my office.

The printer works fine using my laptop. I can print everywhere.

But when you try to print from an Ipad or an Iphone, I can't print from my room. No printer does appear in airprinter (ipad/iphone).
When the two ipad or iphone gets Repeater (away from 192.168.1.2 router TPLink) your printer in the airprinter
So I can not print from my room when using ipad/iphone.

    What I am doing wrong?

I would like to print all over with my ipad/iphone. Y at - it a config to 192.168.1.2 router?

The printer has static IP 192.168.1.11

    Thanks in advance.

This is because the printer and iOS devices must be on the same network, if one is on the primary and we're on the Repeater, it probably won't work. As I have already mentioned that AirPrint often does not work on repeaters or sensitive areas because of the way they interact on the network.

  • 1102w: computer says printeroffline

I 1102w printer that wolrks fine on Win 7 machines.  Drivers installed (both x 86 and 64-bit) on the new laptop Dell with Win 10. Printer is detected by the computer, but shows both in offline or not turned on. Followed first pilot than offerred Win 10. Then to disc HP and installed driver - first to 64-bit but then added 32-bit.

Checked the HP site and was informed that the driver is up-to-date. When I try to print the test page, download the message that the printer needs attention. Not surprising because he thinks that the printer is offline or not on.

I'm not an expert with these things and would like to receive words of advice on one resolution--other than staying away from winning 10.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @BonsaiBill,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your problem of connectivity.

I understand that you have a printer HP LaserJet Pro P1102w which connects very well to your Windows 7 PC, but will not print from PC Windows 10 because he says that it is offline. I would like to help with that.

It can help to add the printer to the devices and printers using a TCP/IP port.

If the problem persists here is a document of support that can help - "offline" Status Message printer (Windows 10).

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

    Hello @onslo.

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you have a problem with the HP printer Assistant. I would like to help.

I want to confirm that you are referring to the Envy 4500 printer and it is connected wireless and not the Officejet 4500 wireless printer.

Have you tried running the HP print and Scan Doctor?

If you have, what was the result?

    I await your response.

I use a 1102w on a mac with a lion for some time with no problems but I just upgraded my machine and changed my ISP.

For some reason any printers must be put back. I followed the procedure to insatll disk and was then charged with updating the firmware of the printer that I have done, since, so I can't get a wireless connection.

The printer configuration page says not connected and IP = manual configuration.

    I have fixed as follows.

Connected a laptop Win XP without the 1102w printer installed on it.

Used the HP installation disc and select Install option wireless

  • LaserJet P1102w: Status = stopped

My new HP 1102w printer range appear to be installed correctly, but do not print.

I use Ubuntu 15.10 with all latest updates.

When I try to print a Test Page, everything seems like it goes smoothly, but nothing prints. When I check the print queue, State says "stopped". The icon 'Release the selected works' is disabled.

The printer works great under Windows, is apparently not the printer.

I also tried this using another computer using the same version of Ubuntu 15.10, but get the same result.

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8610 and it works fine on the same two computers.

Until he died a few days ago, I got a HP Laserjet 4 running on the same two computers (no changes made to the system since that time).

3.15.7 HPLIP system installed (current version is 3.15.11)

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer, but no change.

When I install the printer through the USB port, I also get the same result. When I click on task attributes, here are a few lines of probable cause:

    job-printer-State-message filter failed

    job-printer-motivation ['jplip.plugin - error ']

    work-motivation job finished-with-error

Every other printer I installed worked fine - just this 1102w gives me the penalty. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • I want to reset hp p1102w wireless default IP address manually

I want to reset hp p1102w wireless to the default IP address manually without a web brouser wireless connection.

    I'm on win7

I tried to set a fixed IP address of 192.168.1.101, but I used the false mask of 255.255.0.0

    I could use 255.255.255.0

So, when I use the hp Wireless Setup is says I can connect to the printer, but the network is bad.

So I couldn't reset the IP address and the mask for the correct values through the fbrouser web.

I noticed that with my 2 other similar printers there is a checkbox indicating the reset default wireless.

I wonder if it is possible to set the default settingson the printer manually without an internet connection to web brouser?

What can I do to solve my problem?

Any suggestions you can give me, I would apprectiate.

The proposed document was good and all

I liked the section 'Download updates of the firmware for your hp printer'

I found a paper by Shiomil "the HP 1102w printer stuck manual IP".

    solved my problem

To reset the default firmware values "lbuttons cance and wireless-press and then switch the printer"

After that, I ran the standard wirless install procedure and has obtained an IP address from the printer proveided by the DHCP router.

Then I used the brouser with this IP address for the printer setup page.

Then I reset the IP address to the IP address fixed, I want to use the printer.

    That solved my priobelm

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello

You can also resume the print job from the device itself.

In order to resume the print job and continue the print job from the same place, once you put more paper in the drawer open and close the top page toner access door and the work will continue.
