  Before the 10th of Windows, I was able to print several copies without problem. Now with Windows 10 everything I print is 1 copy no matter what I do to different environments.   Seems more like a permissions problem Windows, rather than a printer or a printer driver problem.

  Check what your effective permissions ; you need 'manage this printer"access; This example shows my user (not administrator) does not have this access (so all 'device settings' values are gray when seen as logged-in while this user.

  Sorry, but the drivers only go back to WINDOWS 2000. You can contact the HP Support (1800-474-6836) and try to release a CD with drivers. It's a very small chance that there is no CD available, but it's worth a try.

• Light or faded Print - Laserjet 1160

  I recently got a printer used hp Laser Jet 1160.  It prints very light, to the point that it's not worth keeping.  (But I like to keep it... its a very nice unit.)  I spent a lot of time on the site of hp troubleshooting and crossed their possible solutions presented in http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/troubleshootDisplay/?sp4ts.oid=4...  with no luck (well, it improved some when I changed the DENSITY of 1 to 5, but not of avout).  The cartridge (hp 49A) Toolbox saysthe had 90% of its remaining toner, was installed in 2007 and has been used 120 times.  So after reading permfomance can improve with 'new' cartridges after 200 uses, I printed 200 filled sheets of B, using 1/4 on the toner (up to 66%).  No improvement.  So the fact that the cartridge is 6 years old and barely used in these six years could be the cause of the problem?  I'm not too anxious to buy a new cartridge, if this isn't a probable reason for the poor print quality.

  doesn't look like canon has a printer that takes in charge the newer versions of Mac OS x, if I were you I would take contact them to see if they plan on support of new versions, apple made no drivers for the hardware they don't and if hardware manufacturers does not provide a working driver head can group with the new version of Mac OS x We have to rely on manufacturing to have a download on their page

  The default Apple PDF Internet plug-in used by Safari does not display the page numbers (except if they are in the footer of the PDF document in question), and there is no setting in Safari preferences to turn on this feature.   In order to print from a device iOS, the printer must be connected to the same Wi - Fi network and supports the Air Print feature. After some research, it seems that the 6500 HP does not support this feature directly. You may be able to find a solution based on HP in the App Store app, but this printer does not have Air Print capacity based on support documentation, that I could find at HP.

• My new printer does not appear in the list of printers

  I bought a new HP Officejet Pro 8715 and I had great difficulty it is set up to use. It seems the method to print and scan drivers has changed dramatically since my last new printer. HP supplies over a CD with the software, but rather is supposed to happen automatically via the Apple software when I plug in the printer. This was not the case.

  At this point, I have the printer (4 hours) work, but I can't get the software "Readiris' of scanning to work. Yet once again, I am told that if I just plug the printer via the USB port and turn it on, then the OS knows what software to load. In reality, he doesn't "know" or "do" something.

  I tried to configure manually by going to System Preferences > Print & Scan and then by clicking on the sign more to add the printer software. This will show you a huge list of printers, but the list ends with "Officejet Pro 8660." My printer is a 8715, so there is nothing for my printer.   This message tells you that the printer driver has not been tested on the OS version you are using.  It's as simple as that.  In other words, proceed at your own risk.  It might work.  Then again, it might not.  You need to contact Canon to see if the drivers will be updated, or if they are working effectively. »
