Hello

Try the following.

First, use another PC to create a bootable Windows 10 DVD or a USB Flash drive via the following link.  Under the section "Imperative to create a cable USB, DVD or ISO", download the media creation tool.

http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/Windows10

Once you have this, run the tool, select "Create install to another PC media", then select the language edition of Windows 10, then the 64-bit option.

Follow the rest of the guests to create this and then click on finish when done.

Boot from your installation media Windows 10 as follows:- This assumes your hard drive has a table of partition guid.

Insert the support of Installation of Windows 10 and stop of the laptop.

Click next to the ESC key as soon as you press the power button to enter the Boot Menu, and then select the Boot Options Menu ( f9 ).

Use the arrow keys to highlight the CDROM (uefi) or USB Flash Driver (uefi) option, according to which typre of media you created, then click on enter – if you are prompted to "Press any key to continue...". "- make.

Select the "Repair your computer" option, select troubleshooting, and then select Advanced Option.  In the display advanced options, select the command line - see option 1 on this link for more information on access to the command prompt.

Once you have launched the command prompt, follow these steps:

Type Diskpart and press ENTER.

Assuming your installation is on drive 0

Type select disk 0 and press ENTER.

Type list volume and press ENTER.

Find the partition to the FAT32 format and select - IE if it is listed as Volume 3 then type:

Select volume 3 and press ENTER.

Then, assign a drive letter by typing:

assign letter = b: , and then press ENTER.

Then enter the hit and type exit.

Then enter the following commands, hitting after each entry.

CD /d b:\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\

Ren BCD.bak BCD

Bootrec /RebuildBCD

If all goes well at this stage, you will see a message saying 1 facility has been found and will get a prompt to add this article - if you type and press to enter.

When you have finished, try to restart the laptop.

Kind regards

Several times using a Windows 7 installation dvd solves these problems. Until a couple of months, you can download an ISO to make a Windows 7 disc and I often recommemded that as a solution. Unfortunately deleted Microsoft Access to those files unless you have a retail license key. I don't know of any other place to download an iso without danger, so the only solution is to buy Windows 7 If you do not have a friend with a disk to use for the installation which you would activate using license key OEM on the label attached to the bottom of your laptop.

  • Pavilion 6052ea: 6052ea Dv6 - Windows boot Manager

    Hi guys

So I tried to do a factory reset on my Dv6, I had replaced the screen (worked) and I wanted to clean during the use of the work.

I rebooted and pressed F several times then chose a factory reset (Option 3)

Now, I get to the windows boot manager give me the 3 standard options and file: \Boot\BCD status:------0xc000000f

I don't have a recovery CD (I thought it would be re - install my original OS)

I have a flash drive to use, but for some reason any the windows download page does not recognize my CD from the bottom of the laptop key.

It is faded, but I am sure that it's okay to 99%.

Any ideas how to solve this problem or is it a bin job?

Yes it will automatically authenticate Windows 10 machines Windows 8 and there is a manual of key Code for the new version RTM 10240 there for 8 machines Pre-windows.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/3dfda8/build_10240_did_you_get_assigned_a_licenseproduct/

The key shown in the link below is supposed to work with Windows 10 10240, released yesterday and has worked for me with latest Windows 10 Pro Insider with own couple extracts installs. I just downloaded the file .iso 10240 image, he engraved on a DVD and I'm going to install it on my rig here in just a bit. I will present my experience. My apron is a 8 prior to Windows machine. Here is a link to the .iso image file:

    http://Microsoft-news.com/download-Windows-10-RTM-build-10240-ISO/

You can sign up for the Insider program (instructions on the link above) just to keep all hide them before general release to the public, but MS advice support are all saying this .iso will make a clean installation using this key Code.

  • Constant beeps sound then Windows Boot Manager

I have a HP Pavilion dv6-1107 X series of portable entertainment. When I turn it on I almost always get a series of very strong short beeps into 3 groups inconsisent. First group can be 4 to 6 beeps. Second group can have 1 or 2. Third group just going until the Windows Boot Manager appears.  Once I select the Vista operating system everything seems to start to work as usual.

    Here's what I did:

    1. replace the card motherboard and CPU

2 checked and tested the hard drive diagnostic and in another machine - OK

    3. have you used a good hard drive in this machine - the same symptoms, no change.

4 RAM stick checked and tested in both slots and diagnostic test on another machine - good

    5. have you a recovery of the default settings - operating system (OS) have behaved erratically.

6 do you have a clean installation using another machine - OS works but same symptoms as above with the beeps and Windows Boot Manager.

7 installed all required drivers as required in the Device Manager (after a LOT of problems trying to find the driver of HP download support - I had to search for HP Compaq Pavilion dv6-1107AX find a site linking driver downloads).

    8. have you run AVG anti virus and anti-spyware (Malwarebytes, Spybot and SuperAntiSpyware) 3 x. Bugs nothingness based.

9 reset the BIOS by default.

Am also having problems anytime access BIOS. It takes several attempts, but can be obtained by pressing F10 immediately after the first screen with ESC on that option.  Also have problems Access Mode safe mode using F8 but perseverance is necessary and it will eventually work.

Other ideas anyone please?  Fear that I ran out of them.

    Hoping, hoping, hoping...

    Russ

As it happens, last night I stripped the laptop (still) bare bones that is

    * motherboard with 1 stick of RAM and hard disk, CPU, x

    * switch cover (market button and LEDs connected to motherboared,)

    * external connected monitor.

I had done this before and the unit pulled up OK.  I wasn't hunting question do beep at this time.

This time I also connected the Assembly Speaker and connected to the motherboard as well.  And that's it-no beeps.

Re-assembled the laptop but this time to the left of the keyboard off the coast and pulled upwards. No beeps.

Replace the keyboard on - got beeps loudly.

Check all the keys. Each of them is spring loaded and seems to work very well. Clean the keys and hooked it to the top, but no change.

It seems that the problem has been a key stuck inside the whole keyboard and I'll have to get another. Ordered a replacement last night and will have to see how it goes, but I'm pretty confident.

The only question is now that the screen is in a particular color with a light blue in the Center and black around the edges. It is not a clear distinction but blurred between the two colors. Never seen that before.

    Thanks for your reply.

    Hello

If you do not, use another PC to create a rescue CD Windows 7.  Download the ISO relevant among the links below.

    Windows 7 32 bit

    Windows 7 64 bit

You must use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO to a CD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.  One time created, or if you already have this, typing away at the esc key when you launch Notepad to open the Start Menu.  Insert the rescue CD.  Select boot options (usually f9), use the arrow keys to select the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER.  You can also get a prompt to "Press any key to" continuous - it if requested.

When loading, select repair your computer and choose the command prompt.  When this charge, enter the following commands and press on enter after everyone – including spaces as shown.

    Bootrec.exe

    bcdedit/export C:\BCD_Backup

    c:

    Boot CD

    BCD attrib s h - r

    Ren c:\boot\bcd BCD.old

    Bootrec /RebuildBcd

    Bootrec /fixmbr

    Bootrec /fixboot

Remove the rescue CD and try to restart the laptop.

  • Can I enable disable the Windows Boot Manager?

My Vista Home Premium 64 has a great deal for a year.  Now, at the start, I get "Windows Boot Manager" (a scary BACK-looking screen) which delays the start-up for 30 seconds, and everything seems to work MUCH more slowly.  I think the problem started when I installed Norton Ghost 14.  Can I disable this thing WBM somehow and have always Windows Vista starts successfully?  How?

The change occurred because of an option in Ghost. Ghost may have given you an option to create a recovery partition and you took it. Consult the manual of Ghost or its options or contact Symantec technical support. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

After I ran the diagnostics, he said that all tests passed but and if I wanted to continue with more, I said no and we say "Error" "SYSTEM_ERROR this system is not recognized as a Dell PC support. I don't want to run this disk and then was not the driver for it and she will not be able to surf the net or something like that. If anyone has an idea please let me know. Thank you!

    Hi Maddy,

This problem may occur if the Windows startup files are damaged or missing.

If your computer has integrated system recovery options, you can try to perform the Startup Repair and check if it helps.

If it fails, you must have a Windows Vista installation disc and try to parade Startup Repair boot from the disc.

If the problem persists, try the steps in the article to rebuild BCD, boot from the installation disc.

Use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows recovery environment to troubleshoot and repair startup issues in Windows

Because you replaced the hard drive, you can also get in contact with the Dell helpdesk for assistance.

    Hope the helps of information.

I just cloned my original 2 TB drive on a 480 GB SSD with a lot of issues now resolved. The computer starts very well now, but these only entered multiple occurred when I had two disks connected each with their SYSTEM partition intact. (After all, it's a clone)

When I look at things with EasyBCD I get this:

So I can't remove redundant entries here. I'm puzzled!

Can someone tell me how to remove the extra entries in the Windows Boot Manager?

    Hello

What you see might be the result of the number of active devices UEFI (all sources) on your PC.  Windows 7 not a UEFI system.

On my PC, active residual Windows to UEFI devices previously installed boot manager entries can be removed by resetting the default BIOS entries.

  • Remove Windows installing on the Windows Boot Manager

Title: two Windows Vistas on my PC

I installed windows vista on my pc, but it wasn't working properly, so I installed it again.  When my computer starts it now goes to windows Boot Manager where there are two window vista operating systems.  The first is OS (C) data D, and the second is OS (D) data C.  First of all, why my computer goes to the window instead of going directly boot manager in windows vista.  Second, how remove the windows version of vista that I do not want to and get the one I want to get into Windows vista without using the Boot Manager?

    Hi BertieBarfield,

To remove an entry in the Windows Vista Boot Configuration, the simplest method is to use msconfig.

    To start msconfig:

    (a) click Start

    (b) in the search text box, type msconfig

    (c) launch msconfig by selecting it in the results of search above the search text box.

After that the system configuration is launched:

    (d) go to the Startup tab

    (e) select the boot entry to remove.

    (f) click the button Delete and then click OK.

Note: Be sure to be connected to the Windows Vista partition, you want to keep when you perform these steps if you do not remove the good installation by mistake, this will cause data loss.
