I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked into your problem on your laptop HP 15-ac140ne and concerns with memory maximum support. Your laptop supports 8 max. Here is a link to your manual page 53 for Ram supported. What company you use for your RAM is a personal choice and I would consult with the comments.

    All iMac Mid 2010 use modules of PC3 - 10600 1333 MHz SO - DIMM 204 pins.

See > install memory in an iMac - Apple Support

Problem is that the Mac is very picky and not just any PC3-10600 1333 MHz modules will work.

Your best bet is to buy for providers like OWC and Crucial memory modules that specialize iMac RAM.

  • Where can I find a compatible RAM upgrade for a Satellite 1130-Z25?

My Satellite 1130-Z25 runs very slowly and I'm looking to boost performance. I want to upgrade the RAM - this model will support supposed to be an upgrade to 1024 MB of RAM. Where can I find a compatible product? (the function "show compatibility" does not appear on this site when it is used, and I can't find the relevant info on what I currently have in my laptop outside the standard "256 MB of RAM DDR", displayed under system information.

I recommend to check this site of memory for laptop:

    [Memory for Toshiba Satellite 1130-Z25 | http://www.orcalogic.co.uk/asp/prodtype.asp?prodtype=7222&ft=m&st=3]

You will find compatible modules for notebook you.
About the info on the page, you must use the 200 pin PC2100 (266 MHz) DDR SODIMM

I think this should be enough to help find good modules ;)

  • Satellite A100 - is compatible Ram 667 Mhz module

My question is if the memory module PA3512S-1M1G (bus 667 MHz) will be fully compatible with my A100-906 and won't have any problematic cooperation with my 1 GB ram PA3511U-1M1G (bus 533 MHz) base.

Toshiba site shows that PA3512S-1M1G is not compatible with A100s, while most of the sites of memory insist it is.

Can someone elucidate me with knowledge?

    Thank you

Generally you can use also the 667 Mhz modules in the laptop A100.
But the fact is that if the FSB is that only 533 Mhz then your 667 Mhz module will only work at 553 Mhz.

In my view, that modules should not be discarded then, either you use both 553 Mhz or 667 Mhz. But I advise to use the 553 Mhz due to the FSB value.

  • Compatible RAM for HP Pavilion 14-B104AU Sleekbook

I bought Sleekbook 14-B104AU Pavilion of HP with amd e1-1200, wid 2 GB ram processor, the manual says compatible for the free memory slot ram is support for DDR3-1066 MHz (DDR3-1600 / 1600 DDR3L demoted to the ddr3-1066). Buy Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB/Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB ddr3-1600 varients are both.

I guess you are tempted by stats like this:

    http://www.Corsair.com/en/blog/improving-laptop-performance-with-vengeance-SoDimms/

I see that no reason to memory will not work. I'm not sure that you will get results like this on the AMD processor.

  • HP ELITEBOOK 8740W compatible RAM

    Hello

    I have a HP 8740W with 4 GB of RAM and I added 2 GB Kingston PC 10600 S-9-10-F0.
The BIOS detects the total RAM as 6144MB, but the test break-in says failure memory.

It's this particular type of SODIMM incompatible with Elitebook 8740W, or it must be 4 GB already installed?

Is there a list of brands and the RAM compatible?

    Thank you.

    Hello:

I always get the memory with 8 little black chips on each side of the Board.

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/ProductList.aspx?submit=Ene&N=100007609%2050008476%20600000414%20600000406&IsNodeId=1&name=2GB

The memory modules with 4 black chips on each side of the Board do not work for some reason any.

May have to do with density.

A 1, 2 or 4 GB chip should work fine.  This is other than a 4 GB module... memory will not work in DDR mode, but it will take place.

  • HP - Compaq ProBook 4520 s: HP - Compaq ProBook 4520 s compatible RAM upgrades

Hi guys! I bought the HP - Compaq ProBook 4520 s and I plan to upgrade my memory (4 GB of ram).  Is PC3-12800 unbuffered NON - ECC 1.35v or PC3-10600 1333 - PC3 compatible? Can anyone suggest me what is the most compatible? Thank you!

Supports up to 8 GB of system RAM PC3-8500, 1066 MHz, DDR3

I guess you want to upgrade to 8 gigs. The specified memory modules are:

    4 GB (PC3-10600 1333 MHz, DDR3) 599092-001

    http://www.Amazon.com/HP-VH641AT-4-GB-DDR3-PC3-10600/DP/B0030L3B8E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&QID=1451132539&SR=8-1&keywords=599092-001

It does not speed up the system to install memory 1600 mhz and your laptop requires no 1.35 volts. The DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800) might work, but you're better off buy the modules specified or as close to them as you can find.

  • P3C92PA #ACJ: Compatible RAM for laptop HP 15-af114AU

I want to update the RAM in my laptop (HP 15 af114au) by another 4 GB. What RAM Kingston will be compatible with my system?

This is because unless you are able to match the originally installed module exactly by a new one, you are quite likely to have a non bootable laptop or who has a BONE that recognizes only 4 GB of installed on the 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) mempory is physically prepared.

It is your choice to take the chance to experience that or not. Its your money frustration, time and possible on line.

Replace the two modules with an identical pair that is guaranteed compatible takes the element of risk and frustration ouot of the upgrade. When you install modules, clogged with Notepad and press the power button, it will work the first time.

  • Having trouble finding compatible RAM

Hi there, ok so I bought 2 GB KIT 2 x 1 GB PC2700 333 MhZ DDR NON ECC OFFICE RAM MEMORY SAMSUNG 2 kits, so total 4 GB of RAM, I have a HP D530 SFF Mini-Tower and everywhere I went, told me these sticks must be compatible with my system.  I tried 1 at a time, both 2, 3 and 4 at the same time, this system will not recognize the sticks, does anyone have advice as to why they do not work, I don't want to go wasting money again before ordering anything else for the same result!

It's embarrassing when you say "everywhere where I went, told me that these sticks must be compatible with my system". If you ordered a site that was generic or specific.
