HP 15 AF114au: Deletion of restore in Windows 10 points
Hello
I bought a new laptop with Windows 10. The OS has been corrupted and I was able to restore it using HP Recovery Manager. In the process, I ended up restore in recovery d once the disk and the folder C: 2nd time.
How to clean these restore points?
I tried to delete through the Explorer but it says "access denied." Am not able to cleanup using McAfee Shred option as well. (Some files are removed, but the rest are left).
What is the way out? D: is virtually sold out, in red color.
Ask for help in the HP forum...
Kind regards
Gaudin
You are the very welcome.
Have you tried using the disk cleanup utility?
You run that and when you get to the disk cleanup window, click on the box of files of cleaning system on the lower left side of the window.
Disk Cleanup will take place once again and then you can check all the boxes next to the files that you want to remove.
If it does not, this free file removal utility should. I use it when I have a tenacious file that refuses to be deleted.
I have zipped it upwards and attached it below. Download, unzip and run.

I went to one of my FCPX library and deleted some files. Also, I took all my FCPX libraries and place them in a folder. Something tells me that it is a 'no-no' because after my FCPX started acting weird. Then when you restart my FCPX he stuck to "restore the window layout" and a gray screen. I found the support page for this particular problem, but I can't find 'library' in my menu 'go '. Can someone help me?

Deleting files in the Windows folder.
I have $NtuninstalKB... files $ in my Windows folder. I could delete them without affecting Windows?

You can remove them without making the overall Windows operatin, the question is why do you want to do this?
I can only guess one of two things...
(1) you're obsessed with cleaning the Windows folder (and all the others.) A compulsion.
(2) you are trying to free up as much space as possible for some reason any.
Whatever it is...
Do a house cleaning and the dust of this hard drive:
You can free up disk space (will also help get rid of the things that you do not use) through the following steps:
Windows XP should take between 4.5 and 9 GB * with * an Office suite, editing Photo software, alternative Internet browser (s), various Internet plugins and a host of other things installed.
If you are comfortable with the stability of your system, you can delete the uninstall of patches which has installed Windows XP...

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310312You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...
When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:
-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file. You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...
1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
2. click on the System Restore tab.
3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
5. click on OK. Then click OK again. You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...
Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...
-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
-Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
-Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer. You can use an application that scans your system for the log files and temporary files and use it to get rid of those who:

There is no available free download of Windows 7 morals.
Contact the manufacturer of your laptop and ask them to send a set of recovery Windows 7 disk/s.
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

have eliminated every trace of my existence in preparation for the gift of my laptop windows 7 except for one thing. I need to delete all restore points. If this is not the case, they might bring back all the tracks I've already eliminated. Read all messages and what is being discussed is irrelevant or does not exist on my laptop. Help, please.
Personally I remove the existing hard drive and replace it with another new.

I am in yahoo mail and there is a window that has the windows displayed and I can click on one of the images of a window and it will restore the window how to access this window (size full one who possesses a collection of previous windows in a complete graph/no format)?
The window that I write the topic is a collection of previous windows images in a smaller size.Firefox has a feature to view all your open tabs in one or more groups of tabs. You can show and hide this screen by pressing Ctrl + Shift + e. Is this the one you see, or something different?
If you ended up with more than a group of tabs and you want to consolidate them, you can drag the thumbnail images all in one group.
More information: use tab groups to organize a large number of tabs.

I did a restore of windows xp home 64-bit but not recover my registry key. How can I get the key?
There is no such thing as Windows XP 64-bit Edition. OEM machines are supposed to have a sticker with the product key on the computer somewhere. You never did a full backup or an image of the disc on another drive? If so, the key can be retrieved from the backup or image.

How can I restore my Windows XP Edition family service pack 2? I don't have an installation CD.
What you have right now? If SP1a, you can skip SP2 and go directly to SP3. If you have only the SP1, you will need to do both.
