HP 15 CA 120 tx: battery

I bought hp 15 CA 120 tx (64-bit, base BACK, i3, 5th generation)  the previous month. I wanted to know his real battery backup that mine only 2 hours even during labor. I have not installed anything bulky, power draining software.

I wanted to know if I need to take it to the service center for replacement of the battery or there is another way.

    Hello

    My friends laptop - a S300-120 - was having a few problems.

I replaced some parts about this before, including a screen crack with no problems.

However, he began to refuse to start saying "out of battery CMOS, Press F1 to enter setup". Of course you would have to do this, set the date and time, except & restart only to get the same message. We have replaced the CMOS battery with a with the same serial number and now the laptop will not boot.

It does one of two things.

It is one) seems to turn, turn to the top disk & CD player, cooling fan is 100%, then flashes the POWER ON led once, twice by orange, and then green to 1/2 second intervals, with no response from the keyboard or LCD.

Or (b) turns on, turntable, does not turn up to cooling fan, POWER ON witness remains stable, no response from the keyboard or LCD.

I re-assembled the laptop several times & can not find all the missing fittings or obvious signs of damage.

The only thing I can think is that the motherboard has been damaged - somehow find replacements is delicate.

    Any ideas?

POWER ON led once, twice by orange, and then green to 1/2 second intervals, with no response from the keyboard or LCD.
Usually, if the voltage in abnormal feeding malfunctions when IN DC will be blinking orange.

In my opinion, it looks like a problem with the motherboard :(
Eventually, you will need to replace the mobo ;(

  • Satellite U500-120 or better battery?

    Hello

I recently bought the Toshiba Satellite U500-120, but I'm disappointed with the low battery life. I would like to know if there are better batteries their compatible with my laptop?

    Hello

I discovered that the U500-120 (not sure if all the models are equipped with the same battery) uses 3700mAh 6cell battery.
    It s a standard battery.

I think that a stronger battery could be purchased too
All ASP (partners) are usually able to order a compatible part (any part it is) of the head stock Toshiba

I think you should just contact these guys and you would get the battery needed stronger and more

  • Satellite Pro 120 VRAB A8 battery replacement.

I searched for any site that has batteries spare for my laptop model and all I can find are adapters CA / CC. Is someone can you please tell me where I can get my particular laptop battery? Or even if Toshiba still sell? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Usually, each part of the laptop has a part number. If you put this part number in Google, you will find many online stores where you can order spare parts.

Battery Tecra A8/Satellite Pro 120 reference number is PA3285U. Put in Google PA3285U Tecra A8 and I hope you find what you need.

  • iCloud Drive drains the battery + makes iPhone verry HOT

    Hello world.

When I start iCloud Drive on my iPhone it starts downloading files. Only when I'm with iPhone it cause my camera is very hot on the upper back (more than 41 degrees celsius) and battery drain about 2% of all the 1 minute or faster! Sometimes the breaks straight from 79% to 55%.

I have about 120 GB on iCloud Drive but I don't have it on my camera! I just need keyboard shortcuts, pages, numbers, and other application data.

I turned off cellular data on iClod drive, so when I turn off iPhone WiFi goes back to normal, but sometimes I have to use WiFi. That is why is WiFi, no? I'm looking for solution, but one that I see at the moment is iCloud alteration to Dropbox.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    J.J.

If you have a lot of data in iCloud it will synchronize by car to the phone. But this should happen only once; After that, you must synchronize only the files that have been changed. There is a difference between iCloud Drive and Dropbox: Dropbox keep files in the cloud until you are referencing the with an application on the phone. iCloud drive reflects all the contents of all devices that have iCloud drive active.

  • T420s low battery

I bought a cheap T420s of soneone a few months ago, and if the specifications are good, the battery life is not. Under normal conditions of use, I get about 1 hour and a half, but if I do something intensive grpahics, he died in 25 minutes. Now, since the College begins, I need some strong autonomy.

I read that people get up to 10 hours of battery life with 9 batteries, and 6 hours with 6 batteries, can someone tell me how to get this performance? If I need a battery (which is highly likely), I would prefer a reccomendation and if possible, no part erased only out of the back, but if this collage party gets a lot more juice for the price, so I'd go with that.

    Features of the laptop:

    I7 - 2620 m

    NVS - 4200 m

    8 GB RAM

    120 GB SSD

    Windows 10

  • 2012 MacBook Air 13 "Service battery

I bought a 2012 refurbished MacBook Air in 2013 and through the last 2 years I have gone through approximately 484 cycles of battery. (I am a student and use the computer every day for school work). Last week, he started the "Service battery" alert. I never get more than 4 hours if I don't have Chrome open. I use Premiere Pro a lot on battery, would that be a problem?

MacBook Air 13 "8 GB RAM 120 GB SSD

    Thank you, Jakob.

The popup of the Service battery indicates that your battery needs replacement. You can always use the battery being, however it will not last as long as expected by Apple. You will need to make an appointment-genius bar and take the MacBook Air to your store local Apple to get the battery replaced if you do not want to do, but unless the MacBook is still under warranty, it will cost $129 + tax, as shown below. I hope this helps!

See Re: corrupted iPod classic. If she does not really have a reset set it aside and let the battery completely discharge. It should reset itself when you load again.

  • iPhone 6 more battery problem

45 days ago, I bought an iPhone to my brother as a gift 6 with 120 GB of storage.

Everything went well. He used iTunes, in order to install anything for the new device, until last week, when something happened suddenness.

Every night he changes his mobile, but all by the sudden sometimes when he turned off the nm the next morning, the display will show the battery icon empty, although he left 60% charged, the nit before!

This symptom occurs half the time he turns on his iPhone 6 more last week.

Is this a hardware problem? (which seems the most obvious)

One software, or a combination of both?

This is what there return to Apple for replacement, or it can solve the problem by a solution 'House '?

    Any help will be appreciated

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

  • HP pavilion dv 7 ev 4050: new battery and new charger

  • Using a dummy battery in a 70 d EOS

My question is this: I'm a fictitious battery to plug into the camera so I can use an external source of the larger battery.  I also want to use a power adapter to power 7.5V to the camera but don't know how much current the device draws.  I need to know if I can get an adequate adapter to power the camera.  Any help is appreciated!

    Thank you!

Canon does an accessory called the "AC Adapter Kit ACK - E6' - that is exactlyl what you want (slipts in battery but allows the camera to operate on sector.)

Although the Canon site it lists as an accessory for $180, Department stores seem to sell for $120 (not always cheap.)

There are a LOT of fakes (several are $ 25 or less), but READ REVIEWS because I found the number of negative comments to be extremely high with many claiming that they either did not work at all, worked alone for a few minutes, or were very flakey (camera would lose power in the Middle session).

Therefore, I'm not sure I want to roll the dice on a knock-off.

I have a 60Da (a special version of the 60 d produced by Canon specifically for astrophotography) and astrophotography tends to eat through batteries very quickly due to sometimes very long exposure involved.  Therefore, Canon includes the ACK - E6 with the camera (so I am an owner but I didn't have to buy it separately).  The ACK - E6 works extremely well.

  • HP pavilion dv6-6198sp: using the right charger for hp dv6? 90 or 120 w? Which one? Help!

Hi guys, currently im using a charger for my hp dv6-6153sa, but I need to cut this short story, so you'll understand.

First, I changed the motherboard in this laptop, the motherboard is the HP pavilion dv6-6198sp however, the battery is a HP dv6-6b60sa.

    The charger I use is a HP dv6-6153sa, which is a 90w charger. 19V 4. 74A

So am I right in thinking I would be better off using a 120 Watt charger?

Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you

The specifications I've seen shows that a 120 Watt power adapter is required for both. So yes, you must use a power adapter 120 Watt.

  • 6248 battery problem? (Included Config)

    Hi people,

First of all, I am 100% new to the Dell model of switching. Secondly, I have only with this company a month and have been putting out fires more than any individual in that my age should have!

My last 3 alarm fire, it's that I'm VERY different internet speed tests between two stacked 6248. If I'm connected 2/g29 I get 48Mbps both downwards and upwards, if I'm plugged into 1/g29 however, I get 10Mbps down and .41Mbps upward!

These two switches have the same software (3.2.1.3) anyone can see anything obvious based on the configuration running posted below?

Note: The firewall is connected to 2/g33, and there is no QOS on its interface.

    Thank you!

Update: in the framework to deal with a weird firmware update problem, I went into the web interface and made a hot failover for switch management units (by changing the Type of 'StackMember' to 'Management' unit on one of the two switches) and after you apply the changes, and reconnect, I now get flow of full bandwidth across the network!

Something was apparently wrong in communication between the members of two battery?

In any case, the battery seems to work fine now.

  • Compaq Presario S4500UK won't start after disconnecting from the wall outlet. What is a CMOS battery problem?

Reconstruction of recent software with HARD drive internal extra (March 2011) under Windows XP/Linux dual-boot installation worked fine.  CD/DVD RW drive, started giving errors so replaced cyclic redundancy check drive a week ago.  All still OK.  Change of electricity supplied and increases energy use conciousness off the machine to the outlet of the overnight after normal shut down.  Machine will not re-start not in the morning.  Not load BIOS; all lights came briefly and then die after 3-4 seconds with power still led on.  You can get a similar effect by plugging the keyboard into the PS2 Mouse Jack I did once!

After 20 minutes or so try all kinds of things managed to boot from the CD of Linux.  Shut down/restarted and everything is fine so I don't switch off at the wall.  Also seems to be OK after brief power off for 5-10 seconds but the problem persists with any long disconnection.  It seems that after 10 to 15 minutes from power-on and 2-3 attempts to restart, BIOS comes up and all is well, but he stopped in the middle of a start of Windows or Linux on a couple of occasions.

Am I right in thinking the problem might be the result of a dead CMOS battery?  The reason that I ask is that the clock seems to keep time OK and there is no apparent problem with the BIOS once it loads.

Any help/advice would be much appreciated.  New config info below.

Dual boot Windows XP Pro SP3 of Compaq Presario Bios v3.03 S4500UK / Linux Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid (2.6.32 - 33)

Drive HARD 120 GB (original Seagate Barracuda 7200) Master Boot Record, Partition Table, Windows XP, Linux, Swapfile etc.

500 GB Western Digital Caviar Blue (encrypted)

    CD/DVD-ROM (original JLMS XJ-HD166S)

    Recently installed HL-DT-ST DVD - RAM GH22NP21 replacement NEC ND - 1100

I don't have all the answers so I went forward with replacing the CMOS battery, but that did not help.  The problem is also obvious if I turn it off and leave it for an hour or more before trying to restart even if I do not unplug the wall plug.  It seems to take about 15-20 will start again before it fires.  I would be really grateful for any clues as to what is wrong.

OK, guys.  I finally solved the problem.

After you have calculated the power needed for the config curent, I discovered that, using various ways to estimate, he walked between 321W - 383W.  It was pretty weird that the only thing I added was a HARD drive and a memory stick and the wisdom of the other guys on this forum, it's that there is a lot of capacity within the factory installed power of 250W.  Yes and here's the rub: the modern replacement devices usually have upgraded capabilities and use more power.  And so when I replaced the drive CD/DVD RW added a few watts, as the sectoral approach of the floppy drive.  It appears also that the optical USB mouse needs more juice than the good old PS2.

I just installed a new 450W PSU Powercool and Bingo!  The processor is faster, too.

Hope that my pain and trauma saves someone else having to suffer the same.

  • How long a full charge on a new M6400 battery last?

    Hello world!

I recently bought a used Dell M6400. A former model, I know, but it came with 12 GB of RAM, a 120 GB SSD, which I guess uses less power than a HARD drive with a rotating disk and upgrading the Q9300 chip.

Currently, when fully charged, the battery lasts about 100-120 minutes. I have considered buying a new battery for it, but batteries for the M6400 are much more expensive than the 6, 9, or even 12 batteries that can be purchased for the E6500 or models similar.

So, before you spend money on a new battery, that I would like to know is: how long a new battery to full charge last?

I know it means a lot on what you use it for. Note that I am * NOT * a gamer: no heavy graphics. I simply use it to more 'normal' stuff, standard e-mail on a browser, reading, articles and forums online, Google Docs stuff, social media (Facebook, for the most part), that sort of thing. YouTube stuff, but not a lot of video streaming (without NetFlix or something like that).

If I can get six hours 'normal use' of a new fully charged battery, it would be worth me spending $45 - $60 for a new battery. But if I only get three hours (that is, an extra hour or almost), I'll probably wait until my current battery is down to maintain a charge for only about 30 minutes before taking the plunge.

Thanks is advance for any advice on this!

    Greg

The CPU only QX9300 draws 45W of power when they are in full operation - there is no way you will ever see runtime on a single six-hour battery in a power like this hungry system.  If you get three hours of a new battery even that is probably exceptional for this configuration.  Most reasonably expect is all around 2 hours - or everything that your see.
