HP 15-f039wm Notebook PC: black screen after login in the 8.1 window

Once connected, the screen goes black, with only the visible mouse. I can run programs through task manager and the computer works normally until after I connect. I would like to know if this can be corrected as soon as possible because I need a computer for school.

  • Windows 8 black screen after Login or the wake from sleep / hibernate and flickering screen

    Hello

I have something of a nightmare with my desktop computer running Windows 8 x 64.

I did a bit of cleaning, unplug all cables, etc. and then reconnected everything later.

Since then, I've known the following questions: -.

After starting and going through the connection, I am faced with a black screen.  The monitor turns on, but there is no pointer.  However, if I clicked at random, it would open a Windows App out of the splash screen, which would then become visible.  If I moved the mouse to the bottom left, to get the splash screen, he would immediately go black screen on me.  He seemed to be refusing to display the splash screen.

With "display" black screen, I found I could get the Task Manager (Ctrl, Alt, Del) upward and there could access the desktop.  It would then execute as usual, but if I let it go into hibernation or even just having the power of the screen down, it would be black screen again, and I have to use the 'trick' Task Manager to retrieve the desktop computer.

Sometimes, using the Manager tasks does not always, because he'll sweep between the black screen and the desktop, alternating every 5-6 seconds.  I found through the process from the Task Manager, it stops doing this.

Now, I did a Windows 8 regenerate, without any change in the problems.  I made sure the AMD drivers have been completely updated (they were) and also physically checked all cables and cables are properly connected and the GPU / RAM etc are properly placed.

There is no error message displayed at any time. I have also disabled Fast Boot, nothing helps.

I examined a faulty monitor, but it worked fine for an hour or two at a time, until I got let go sleep or put into hibernation, and I'm at square one.  It would of course be a faulty GPU, or even a PSU failure, but I'm not convinced the symptoms are pointing to them.

For me, the fact it does not display the Windows 8 start screen after that Login or Wake Up is important.  It makes me think that Windows may interfere with the display in some way?

I can, if necessary, provide DXDIAG etc, and I "m hoping someone will have an idea of what goes wrong.  I have spent ages going through Google and others, but cannot find a solution to my problem.

Thanks for any help or suggestion you may have.

    Conrad.

It solved!  Traded my monitor cable and all problems solved.  Guess he had a break or something in one of the lines.

    Thanks anyway.

My Satellite L350-20 q running Vista Basic.
After the connection, which is normal, I'm going to the arrow then turning to a permanent black screen when I start in normal mode.
In safe mode, I have a normal behavior and I can work. No malware present a Spybot report. But my Avast antivirus is doesn't seem to work in safe mode.
Do you have an idea about this problem?

A colleague advised me to update my graphics driver which is currently version 06/12/2008 Intel Corporation 7.15.10.I502 for Mobile Intel 4 series express chipset family. What is the URL and the name of the file to download the latest driver?

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what the problem is here. I don't know since when you have this strange problem but if possible, try to roll back the OS to an earlier time until she starts to happen. Use the System Restore tool to do this.

I don't know what is the seriousness of this problem may be but and if the display driver installation can help. To be honest I don't think. My advice to you is to back up all your important data and install OS again using recovery image installation. After doing this you will have factory again and everything will be OK.

By the way: I think that this old notebook is supported for Win7. A long time ago I ve installed Win7 32 bit on L300 and there HERE perfectly. Much better than the original Vista OS.

  • New Hp pavilion touchsmart shows a black screen after login

I just bought a new Hp pavilion computer printer portable all-in-one laptop / tablet that runs windows 8. It worked perfectly well until now.

The laptop starts fine, the hp displayed logo and the login screen is displayed. After that I entered the password, it begins to load but then becomes just a black screen. My cursor is visible, but nothing else happens.

I restarted the laptop several times. Help, please. Thank you.

    Hi all

Please use F11, press it all right after the startup of the device. Press several times to ensure that you access the Recovery Manager.

Then, when you're there, select the language in the first screen and then "troubleshooting." Then select advanced options. In this menu, select System Restore, to restore your system to a date before the show began.

In case you have no restore points, in the section "Troubleshooting" menu, select "System Refresh", it reinstalls the system without erasing your data.

In which case you can start in safe mode, try to search for a program called "SearchProtect" and if you find it, try to uninstall it.

Let me know the results of the above suggestions.

    Thank you

  • Black screen after restart of the Bootcamp Assistant

    Hello

I understand that 10 Windows is not supported with the MBP Late 2011 officially by Apple, I have it working earlier today and had no problems at all. I tried to add another partition for windows side so that I would be able to install Deep Freeze on Windows have a clean install of Windows every time that I boot in there and have all my programs and files on what would have been called "Local D.

I deleted the Windows partition and I deleted the first player who had only 200 MB normally created from windows which I believe that holds the MBR for the old Windows Installer install. I tried to create 2 different partitions in disk utility and that the load bootcamp. He said well obviously not, because the reader must be around to do this, I did the road together again, put my Windows 10 disc in and let bootcamp.

I wanted the reader to have 51 GB of bootcamp, that I would use 300 GB for the 'Local D' drive and the rest of the SSD 1 TB drive, I got OS X El Capitan. If at this point, I have X amount of GB to OS X and 51 GB will be used so that the wizard has done for me, once the wizard bootcamp is made, it will restart OS X and brings me to a gray screen. Normally, it's just going to continue in the installation of Windows, but it takes me to a black screen and does nothing else. Is this by far where can I fix? I even tried simply to launch the installation of Windows Installer directly from the drive itself without going through installation of bootcamp by holding ALT and selecting the drive and he finally took to the installation without any problem and now it goes to a black screen and does not change even.

And for those wondering, no I do not get a flashing cursor in the upper left corner of my screen. Its completely black.

You have deleted the EFI Partition from Mac. Not a very good idea. She does not hold the MBR. Your Mac uses a hybrid MBR. The MBR and the boot for Windows Manager are two separate entities.

Disk utility is now considered an invalid drive due to a missing EFI partition. How did you again the reader "XV"? If you start from W10 in the optical drive, it is no Bootcamp involved more.

Please after the release of the following Terminal commands.

    diskutil list

    Cs diskutil list

    sudo TPG - vv - r see the/dev/disk0

    sudo fdisk/dev/disk0

The "sudo" commands will prompt to enter your password, and there do not appear to come back. You can also see caution against improper use 'sudo' and the potential loss of data due to an "abuse" of the order.

  • Black screen after logging into the domain account

OK, it's making me nutty and I don't know what to do.

Configuration: SB Server 2008 running domain controller.  4 client machines connected, 2 XP, 2 running Vista Ultimate SP1.  XP machines work fine (of course).  Vista machines are in the tank.
Two Vista machines are about 2 weeks with the only changes to the installation of the factory Office, Norton 360 and printer drivers.  Both machines exhibit the same symptoms at the same time:
    (1) after the restart, each machine running Vista for 10 minutes exactly, saying "Please wait...". "before the screen"press Control-Alt-Delete.  Safe Mode boot normally.  Examine the event log, I see entries on running a startup script of some kind that took 600 seconds (10 minutes).  This of course comes from the domain controller.  What is this and how do I get rid of him?
    (2) after finally journaling, tries to connect the domain account ("domain\username") result in a "Welcome" screen... ', followed by a black screen with a mouse cursor which is mobile.  It is a permanent condition.  I let the machine sit overnight and nothing changes.  I get an occasional popup on the black screen of Norton saying it runs background tasks and that's all, so I know the machines are running.  Pressing Ctrl-alt-delete is * not * bring up the Security screen.  It doesn't do anything.
Note that connect to a * local * account ("machinename\name") works very well.  I have a desktop, icons, everything.  I even connected locally and made a "change user" to a domain account, and now the machine is stuck again to a black screen with mobile mouse.
Both machines have worked very well for two weeks.  When I reboot safe mode and remove the computer domain, everything works well, probably because I'm just connect to a local account again.
I did * no. * change to group policy.  The server works with all settings by default wrt updates, etc.  I did not have any mods system to customers other than to join them to the domain.
I searched online, and I see other people have this problem, but I can't find a definitive solution.  I tried to restart by using the last known good configuration, but I think that the system is of the opinion that the last logon was successful, which is not good.  To return to the last restore Point is not good.  Both machines has stagnated at the same time, which implies a problem across the field.
Please don't tell me that I have to spend $200 and one day online with technical support to get an answer to this.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
    -Rob

  • Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit goes to a black screen after login. Completely insensitive.

I seem to have a problem similar but different enough to justify a new thread. I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit, and after the connection, I get a black screen with a cursor that can move normally. However, it becomes more complicated as everyone else. Absolutely NO work of access keys at this point, ctrl-shift-esc, ctrl-alt-delete, windows-r, don't SHIFT five times, NOTHING that other threads have suggested. I can't do anything but restart the computer once it reaches that point.

This is where it gets weird. Regular Safe Mode actually works for me, but is not the Mode safe mode with networking. There has been absolutely no sign of difficulty with this computer before that. I already have Malwarebyte Anti-Malware, it has been updated yesterday. I checked for ntndis in the registry, nothing. I uninstalled my video drivers, now, I have to reinstall because it wasn't the problem. System Restore was only a restore point on March 1, which did nothing even though the computer was working fine, March 1. I do not have the Windows disc, I split the cost with a friend who's in Arizona that I know, and he has probably lost the drive now.

Please help, my office is useless like this. I'm on a laptop, and I have a 512 MB USB key, if something needs to be downloaded on the desktop.

    Hello

  • Black screen after login

After scoring in my HP pavilion with Windows 8.1, I get a black screen. My cursor is displayed.  Other forums say start Recovery Mode/safe, but can with F8 on 8.1.  How can I fix Windows startup upward if I can't recovery?

using F11 to restart worked to get to the recovery screen. F8 does not work for 8.1.  It took me 2 hours to get back to 8.1, but it was worth it.  Any correction now with all personal settings returned thanks Nuccil!

  • Windows 7 stuck on a black screen after login. RunOnce.exe stuck.

I'm having a strange problem today.  Every time that I start my computer and I did several times today, the home screen appears to be on the screen much longer and when it eventually disappears, it is replaced by a black screen with the mouse pointer.  I can load the Task Manager and other applications, but it seems that explorer.exe is somehow stuck.

I noticed that a runonce.exe application is in Manager tasks and the closure of this process, windows Explorer is used correctly and my desktop appears.

Is it possible for me to determine which exploit this runonce wrapper seeks to execute in order to act and stop what is happening?

    Thank you.

Thanks, but this registry entry is empty.

I think it's fixed now. Gigabyte Dynamic Energy Saver application seemed to be stuck when it is called by runonce for some reason any. I don't see why it would be manifested suddenly now as it has been installed for months.  The application and the server are running in the Task Manager, but could not open, even after closing and a new attempt.  Uninstalled and loaded on the desktop as usual.

Maybe some other app installed recently tampered with, an essential component of the energy-saving app.

  • Black screen after login with password.

    Original title: connection.

I have a password protection on my computer. Windows updated the other day, after my password, I get a black screen. A second or two later my image appears again and I have to put my new password, but I get the black screen and cannot get in.

Other user accounts work normally. Any suggestions please?

An update creates a restore point. Assuming you have another admin account, or the dialog box for the approval of the admin works, the restoration is expected to do.

  • Black screen after login screen. Possible graphics card issue?

Problems to show after the desktop connection screen. Just the mouse pointer. Everything works in safe mode.

I have a graphics card separate installed and it worked flawlessly during the initial installation. I think there was some windows update that happened on its own and from there I get the black screen.

I'm "cleanbooting". All graphics cards are updated... what I have to do.

    Hi Justin,

    2. Expand the display adapter.
    3. Right-click on the display driver and select Disable.

  • Black screen after installation of the Agent from the view.

    Hello

I am facing a weird problem on my windows 8.1.

I have install for use as a template for a pool automated view 5.1

When I install the vmtools, after that I installed the agent of sight, I got a black screen.

I tried several times and I got the same thing.

I'm not able to convert into a model of deployment of workstations after.

Can you please help me on this problem.

    Thank you in advance.

I'm a little unclear - which command do you have installed? If you have installed VMware Tools after the Agent of the view, you need to uninstall and re-install the Agent of the view... It must ALWAYS be installed last, even if you're just updating tools.

In addition, Windows 8.1 is not supported with view 5.1 IIRC

  • HP Pavillion 11 x 360: black screen after login

I recently got my x 360, used for about a month, go to turn it on, boots fine then I connect, and it goes to a black screen with the cursor, can not do anything except ctrl alt delete, then Task Manager, nothing works, it's just a white, black screen
I restarted several times without success and becomes very annoying.

    Hello

    Try the following.

Boot the computer normally and log.

Black screen, old the ctrl and alt keys and press delete.

    Select Task Manager.

Click on file and select the new task.

Type rstrui - also enter a tick in the box for "create this task with administrative privileges" - and click on Ok.

When system restore interface has loaded, select a restore point at least 48 hours before this connection problem occurred first and then proceed with the restoration of the system.
