HP 15: New 15-inch laptop screen is begging to fail

I love the performance of my laptop HP 15 of 4 months with the warning that as of today, all of a sudden, I noticed that the top 2 inches of the screen from left to right, are "spotted" with marble whitish discoloration, opaque to scratches and swirls.

The machine is in my air-conditioned office, never fall, abused or even moved. There is no moisture problem, which I mention because after inspection, discoloration looks as if it might be a moisture problem (actually, I grasp at straws here trying to make sense).

Any advice?

Since it is a relatively new machine, instead of hurt for hours to fix yourself, why not just let HP repair at our expense!

You must contact the HP Customer Support directly so they put you in contact with HP Tech Support to see what they can do on the diagnosis and repair of your machine remotely.

I did recently, and HP technology was able to remotely access my PC on the Internet and to make the necessary repairs.

    According to your description, a thin line appears on the screen. Right?
    Well, I doubt that this issue has something to do with the software or virus
    It seems that the problem of material: I m thinking display or graphics card problem.

    Connect an external monitor to the computer and check if the same think that the line would be available on the 2nd monitor.
    If this will not appear on the external monitor then it would mean that only the internal display is affected.

    Maybe the powerplan battery is changed or not properly configured. You can see the current powerplan thanks the battery status bar icon.
    Please check if the powerplan options are correct.

GoTo all programs search and type in Recovery Manager click that above and open it. Click Yes (white box) so it apears. Select Microsoft System Restore Click next to three windows now you will see a list of dates, select a date prior to the installation of the update, then click. Let the computer do its restoration. Once done see if your problem is solved, if so try the update again, make you that the update is for 64-bit Windows 7 computers before you download it again. If that happens again once you know what AVG is not compatible for your computer.

    Probably you have only received part of the witch update caused this problem due to the disruption of atmospheres. Sometimes this happens. Put day of my HP only made once.     Start the computer in safe mode (press F8 continuously immediately after power and don't worry beeps when you press the button) and let it boot without a network.  Once there right click on the desktop and then click Properties.  Click settings and the value of the monitor mode (640 X 480) VGA or SVGA (800 X 600).  Accept the changes and restart the computer.  You should have a mediocre screen, but you should see it now.  Download and install the appropriate drivers for your video card in the laptop to the web site of the manufacturer of the laptop.  Install the drivers and then you should be able to set the display of the laptop to the correct native resolution for your computer monitor (must be in the documentation of the laptop).

    If it was always this way, it could be a manufacturing defect or your advanced display settings may be incorrect. The latter can be determined according to the settings/Advanced/display/personalization in the control panel settings. See Customization here, it varies depending on the manufacturer, but you focus on controls that adjust color output.

    If it has started, then it is possible the monitor had a malfunction. I put another monitor (if available) on the system. If the problem persists, then the fault is in the video card or display drivers. If it disappears, then the monitor can go wrong (you can try to adjust the settings on the screen itself to see if it has no effect). If it turns out to be the graphics card, I would like to firstly download and install a new set of drivers for the graphics card or the manufacturer of the system (the best for download, then uninstall the current set restart and install the new download).

    I have a PC Compaq Presario CQ56-103SG and lately I've been having problems with the computer.     So from what I can tell the model have built in analog audio input, you would probably need some kind of third-party USB audio interface. You may be able to record in mono with a suitable adapter because the port is apparently compatible with Apple headphones for example.

    Not as long as the computer and the components are designed to best suite with eachother. So manufacturers will not support using incompatible parts if custamization is accepted.

    Workaround would be to buy a monitor (ecternal) HD and plug it in. There are n number of options in the HD monitor of your choice.
