Hi, so I have this laptop for more a yaer now, and whenver I try to update my drivers through HP Support Assistant, he begins, download then says installation then it says full, but nothing is really happening. I tried many times to download Bluetooth driver, audio driver, the synapatcis of the Touchpad, but every time the same thing, it says: installation complete, just as I click Next, it will prompt you to update again. I uninstalled HP Support Assistant several times and installed again, but the same thing happens. Someone please tell me a solution for this.

    Hi @Ahsan19

I understand that when you try to update the drivers by using HP support assistant there is no change.   You tried to uninstall and reinstall the HP support assistant without result.

I would try to update the drivers manually.  Here is a link to the Drivers of laptop HP Pavilion 15-e056se to get them.

If you still experience a problem you can try to install in safe mode. Safe mode of Windows 8

If the problem persists, I suggest contacting HP support for assistance. They can access your system remotely to help overcome the difficulties.

When I checked to see what messages HP Support Assistant inportant was for me. I received a notice from the HP support

Assistant that my protection against viruses and spyware were not working.  It shows that they are both off the coast.  I have Trend Micro Anti

Virus and this shows to work properly.  I also use Anti Malware. Is there something that is incorrect?  Is there a way to

me to remove the messages from the HP Support Assistant? Thanks for any help.

    Hello doowop47,

It may be a glitch in the wizard for help. I know that this kind of thing happened often a few years back with other brands of anti-virus. This was due to the fact that the HP Support Assistant only worked with precision with Norton. It may still be the case today.

The Support Assistant runs automatically at startup? If so, you can turn it off and it won't hurt anything. It can be turned on again since the program Panel.

Here is a link showing another Expert HP explaining how to disable the wizard.

I know that this does not resolve the warning itself, but it is not entirely uncommon to happen.

I guess the support Wizard is also updated.

    Hi @Supiriom ,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. It's a great site for information and questions. I looked in your question about your 15 HP Pavilion Notebook and the HP Support Assistant, showing a space where the question mark should be. Here is a link to troubleshoot the HP Support Assistant. You need to maybe uninstall and reinstall.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-p204: UPDATE of HP SUPPORT ASSISTANT HP BIOS update for Intel processor (F43) - SHOWING AGAIN

    Hello

I am new to the community of HP.

I'm having a problem. Well, I can't really say it is a MAJOR problem because there is no threat to the system or anything, it's just one of those little annoying things.

Yesterday, I updated my BIOS F.43 after being invited by HP support assistant. Update succeeded, charged back up the laptop, and the watch update STILL not installed on the HP support assistant. I reinstalled it and it still shows the same thing.

It's just a bug and it is really installed and the wizard of support has not been updated?

    Thank you

    Hi @GarethWilliamss,

Thanks for posting in the Forums of HP and welcome.

I read on the HP Support Assistant and prompt you to download on your HP Pavilion Notebook 15 - p204. As you can imagine this is a glitch. Ignore the update.

    I hope this helps.

Please let me know if this help solve the problem by marking this post as accept as a Solution.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook N9R33EA # a: problems with the BIOS update (HP Support Assistant)

I was offered an update of software SP77359, which seems to me to be an update of the BIOS provided by HP Support Assistant. Version F.82Ap1. Two days ago, I updated the BIOS via the support and, on the report wizard got an other update via the support Wizard. I applied this patch to find that it was still an other BIOS update and now, which has been applied this third update has appeared. Please let know us how I do.

The model number of my machine is actually N9R33EA #ABU (as reported by the Assistant to support) but ths was too long to type in the name of the product.

Your laptop is a HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab208na (ENERGY STAR) for later use.

I wouldn't update. Simply click the X to remove the download and install the list in the help Wizard.

The current version on your laptop support portal is F.8.1

  • HP ENVY 17 Notebook: HP support Assistant constantly reported as 'Stopped working' in the reliability report

System recovered 5 days ago and reinstalled personal software. (HP 17 t-k000 CTO/Win 64 bit 8.1Pro)

Almost immediately HP Support Assistant would communicate with HP Server. The program has been downloaded and reinstalled more than a dozen times during the 5 days... .rebooting every time between installs / deletion. Download from different places in the website of HP... but always version 7.7.34.34A. HP cat could not help... like that, the program worked for a few minutes, even though I showed the tech "reliability report". (it's a play on words!)

After recovery was over and I used S.A. to update the operating system. The first time I used the program offered to me by 14 updates (so I guess that the program was "not" long before I got the operating system)... the program has shown the updates have been downloaded, but each time the update failed to install (X) next to the icon of installation. Restart the program again and selecting 'Check the HP updates now'... after displaying little pictorial showing ets connection/download... Returns a message... "No updates available". AND a new error is reported to the report reliability with the date and time. Now, in the last day or so IE11 has stopped responding... see below... Even typing this proved difficult because the page no longer!

Today, the Web page for this laptop shows there are 2 BIOS update F34A (May 22, 2015) and F.09 Rev.A (16 April 2015), but as there is no update available via S.A. I haven't installed these either... my latest information installed BIOS is F.34, 19/12/2014!

Battery/power cycling has solved nothing... "sfc/scannow" shows no error in operating system,.

    All suggestions accepted

    Thank you

    @Stu2009

Thank you for all the useful information. However, there is something that you're not quite right about. It is true that normally the default account created on a system, is normally an administrator account. However as a safety device which is part of the User Account Control (UAC), he essentially keeps running as a common user, then on an administrator account.

You can turn off UAC (I would not recommend that), or you can find the executable file of your programs, right click and compatibility mean that it runs as an administrator by default.

Most of the time that you actually benefit from privileges program not raise unnecessary, however. Only a handful of things really really need to access that provides the "Run as Administrator".

With regards to the BIOS, I would recommend that you try only a BIOS update if you are running in regular broadcasts normally. A wrong BIOS update can become a "brick" that requires a replacement of the Board of Directors, so for me it's one of those things you do only as a last resort, or if it's part of a fix recommended a functional system.

As these updates from CyberLink you can always try to install it manually if you need, since the support page for your system. And let me know if they still appear in HPSA, after a manual installation.

  • HP 15 Notebook G9D64UA #ABA TS: HP Windows 8.1 randomly restarting after updating the BIOS of HP Support Assistant

Hi, I have a laptop HP Windows 8.1 and I noticed after I did the update to the BIOS of HP Support Assistant, it restarts randomly without any error message.  Is it possible to restore the BIOS if it is a BIOS problem?  The computer works fine but it restarts randomly each time than in quite awhile.

When you restart the laptop you see error messages?

You can restore the BIOS to the previous version by using the firmware management option in PC UEFI diagnostics.

Plug the AC adapter and press the power button.

Immediately, press the ESC key to call the start menu.

Now, press the F2 key to enter the diagnosis.

    Choose firmware management.

In the management of the firmware, you should see the option to restore the BIOS. Select it and let it do its job.

  • HP Support Assistant is unable to install the drivers wireless wireless device not recognized at startup

    Name and product number:

    HP Envy Sleekbook4 PC / / C2K72UA #ABA

    Intel Centrinto Wireless-N 2230

    Microsoft Kernel Debug network adapter

    Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller

USB - IF xHCI USB Host controller (Intel WiUSB)

Inter 7 series / C216 Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller - 1E26 (there is a similar device that works but ends with 1E2D)

    System Operalting:

    Latest Windows 8

    No error message.

    Changes:

Uninstalled some things via the control panel (I don't know where I can find a newspaper which has been uninstalled)

Attempt to system restore and it failed.

    My diagnosis:

First of all, some info on why the devices do not work.

The USB controller claims there are insufficient system resources to complete the API. However, I am only using about 20% of my memory and my hard drive. If I deactivate and reactivate the device through Device Manager it starts working until the computer passes in mode 'sleep' or reboots.

The Realtek PCIe controller and Intel Centrino Wireless adapter simply read {operation failed}. If I disable and re-enable these devices via Device Manager they begin to work until the computer mode "sleep" or reboots.

The Microsoft Kernel Debug network adapter "is not present, is not working properly or is not all its drivers installed."

Intel WiUSB - windows cannot load the drivers for this device (code 31).

The HP support assistant tries to download and install "Wireless for windows drivers 8. The download succeeds, but the installation fails.

At startup, windows thinks that there are no network adapters (other than bluetooth). After the reboot of the devices from the Device Manager, they appear in the section of the network adapters.

Thank you in advance for reading this and any help you may be able to offer,

    Tim

I see. Unfortunately, the failure of the short DST means that the hard drive needs to be replaced. The computer is still under warranty?

If so, you can contact HP Technical Support and ask them to send you a replacement. This replacement will come with recovery media. If you don't have an external CD drive, make sure you request a recovery rather than recovery disks USB. They should know that the model already, but, I would make sure. Once you have received the new hard disk, you will need to send the back of an old man in this same area, using the provided shipping label. The technician on the phone will give you the details on that.
