C50-B-13N satellite will not support the RAM recommended
Hi guys, I have a new Satellite C50 8.1 Win.
On the Toshiba site, for this particular model, it can be upgraded to 8 GB of ram.
There is no easy access on the background of this laptop Panel, so the complete lower cover must be removed, and there is only 1 RAM slot.So I bought a single stick of ram 8 GB DDR3 at 1333 MHz (recommended speed on http://www.toshiba.co.uk/laptops/satellite/c50-b/satellite-c50-b-13n/ site Tosh).
Problem is he can't ram 1333 MHz speed - NOT just because it was an 8GB stick (I also had 1, 2 and 4 GB available sticks to test). On cuts size of 1333 MHz laptop tries to power on then feeds directly to the output.
Its not too fast - for one, it's a portable Gen current with a processor that will gladly help 1333 MHz, but - GET THIS - the ram that came out was a stick of 4 GB 1600 MHz.To try to contact Toshiba support I gave by telephone of the sales representative who had no idea what I was feeling and finally told Topaz ring, Toshiba repair and warranty the guys, who were quite confused as to why I was told to ring the.
So what about £55 in the sewers, because the package is opened and Toshiba play dumb on a possible serious failure.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, they would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Looking for RAM recommendations
I have a Macbook 2011 end of 13 ". It came with 2 RAM sticks of 2 GB. The specs are HMT325S6CFR8C Hynix PC3-10600S-9-11-B2-H9. The speed is 1333 MHz. I upgraded from 6 months to 2 sticks PNY 4 GB that I bought at Best Buy. We had a few problems (panic the kernel, boot problems, etc.). Tech Apple believes that the RAM is faulty. Because RAM is cheap enough, I am ready to buy some other RAM. Any recommendations on the type of RAM. Hynix 4 GB sticks are available. Hynix is better than PNY?
You should buy the specifications of RAM that your computer was shipped with. But do not buy it at the price of Apple. Visit MacSales or Crucial.com; two of them will advise you without pushing you. People here agree generally that it is the most reliable suppliers.

Laptop HP 15 r204ne: upgrading RAM
It's my first time here so I'm not sure I'm on the right track so bear with me.
I bought a * 15 HP notebook PC Energy Star r204ne * just now and now I'm wondering if its possible to upgrade the RAM. I tried to go to the page of user manual/support but came up with nothing else that information, he gave me, which is, I have 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM (2 x 2 GB).
So, can I switch to 8 or more or not?
Thanks in advance
It's a Core i5 processor, so it has 2 memory slots and memory max is actually 16 concerts. 2 x 8 gig DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM.
See page 76 of the maintenance manual and 10-15 pages before, too.
The problem is what to do to get to the memory locations. The motherboard must be withdrawn, believe it or not.
If it's 'the Answer' please click on 'Accept as Solution' to help others find it.

PC running slow increadibly with 128 MB of RAM - recommended to increase the RAM
Original title: pc running slow increadibly with 128 MB of RAM
My mother's PC runs incredibley slowly.
After you perform a clean installation of win xp and addition of firefox, and avast antivirus, pc still increadibly slow.
His laptop is a HP Omnibook xe4100 and has 128 MB of ram.
What I do need to update the ram of the laptop computer or is the problem of something that can be fixed with software recording cleaning?
Thanks for any help on this!If you did a clean install, it is not the registry slow down your computer. A clean installation removes all and back windows on the system with just windows files, so the registry is only what is absolutely need to run.
128 MB of RAM is incredibly low, so even if the slowness is caused by something else, you should buy more in any case, because it will help the computer a little.

MacBook Pro RAM - higher than recommended
I wanted to upgrade the RAM on my MacBook Pro 2009. Now, I looked on this website: MacBook Pro: how to remove or install memory - Apple Support on RAM specifications I needed for the upgrade of RAM.
Now, I think I need Max it upward. My problem is that I saw on the store's site there are 1066 MHz PC3-8500 type of RAM, but they have 2 GB (I need to buy 2 to 4 GB). I looked for a kit of 8 GB or 4 GB (even once, I need to buy 2), but I found only the 1333 MHz PC3-10600. And one of my problem is that if I update these, there are problems of incompatibility on my MacBook Pro.
My question is:
You upgrade the RAM with specifications higher (as I mentioned earlier). If so, you are problems of incompatibility? If not, where can I get the specifications of RAM recommended (I live in the Philippines)?
You cannot use faster Ram of your Mac, use the same speed (1066 mhz)

I have an old computer (the system is: AMD Athlon 64 processor, 3700 +; 2.21 GHz, 896 MB of RAM). I have not upgraded yet of Firefox 3. My system is compatible with the upgrade to Firefox 8? Should I upgrade or will I have problems if I do?
http://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/8.0/system-requirements/
Your processor supports SSE2 and has more than the minimum RAM recommended, if material wise you are OK. As long as you have SP3 in Windows XP, it looks good for compatibility.

iMac 27' Ram Installation tips
Hey,.
I want to increase the RAM in my iMac, but before you buy the RAM, I wanted a second opinion.
My iMac Specs:
- iMac 27 inches, end of 2013
- Processor: Intel Core i5 to 3.4 GHz
- Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
- Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 M 4096 MB
From the foregoing, I thought doing one of the following RAM:
- @ Amazon 59.98 GBP: CML16GX3M2A1600C10 Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz CL10 XMP
- 65,86 GBP @ Amazon: Corsair CML16GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance Low Profile 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz XMP 9 CL
My questions:
- Those RAM sticks are suitable for the iMac I have?
- What is the difference between CL9 and CL10
- All recommend something else?
Thank you
There are two vendors of RAM recommended on these forums: OWC (macsales.com) and Crucial both actually test with the Mac and have guarantees of life; Macs are very sticky on their RAM. I would not buy RAM anywhere else.
So, I could not offer an opinion on the RAM, you said except that I would not buy it. Here is the General page to OWC - all you need is your model identifier (not to worry no matter what else):
http://eShop.MacSales.com/shop/Apple/memory/iMac
If it is yours, then here is the RAM with the correct specifications:

RAM upgrade for mid-2012 MacBook Pro question?
So, I bought some RAM Corsair (2 x 8 GB) to install in my MacBook Pro for mid-2012. It has been well over a month now and I get freezes and flaws that were not there when the Apple RAM stock has already been installed. My question is... are it freezes and the seeds one result of the brand of RAM I have installed (Corsair) or the fact that I am superior to the amount of 8 GB of RAM recommended for this laptop of Apple to the particular address?
Thank you.
As you can see here, your MBP can, indeed, support for 16 GB of RAM. However, DIMMs must meet Apple specifications which are often much more demanding that really meant DIMMS for PC can meet. One of the advantages of buying from OWC (in the link) is that they provide 100% support so their products need to be designed with the Mac in mind. If you have no problem with DIMM Apple, but you do with Corsair DIMMS, I would say getting them replaced or, better yet, to get a refund.

These RAM modules will run in mode dual channel - Satellite A100?
I have the Satellite A100 that supports dual channel.
HYNIX HYMP512S64BP8-C4 (original modul memory supplied with the laptop)http://www.Hynix.com/datasheet/PDF/module/ds_512M_DDR2(B-ver) based_SO-DIMM (Rev0.2) .pdf
and this kingston kvr533d2s4 / 1024 mb
http://www.ValueRAM.com/datasheets/KVR533D2S4_1G.PDF
They both non ECC unbuffered cl4 200pins 533 mHz ddr2 sodimm 1 GB but the TRA and tRC timings seem a little different.
These modules of memory will work in dual channel mode? You will be very happy if someone As the same model of laptop and exactly these modules. I just recommend using modules of RAM recommended. These modules are tested and you will have no problem of compatibility.
Kingston modules are very good quality products, and I believe that no one reported any compatibility problem. If you visit the Kingston's support page you can find all module compatible with your laptop.
Check it on

ASUS m5a78l-mlx
AMD phenom ii x 4 840
4 GB ram ddr3
Sapphire 7750 1 GB ddr5
So that you can understand that my motherboard is asus m5a78l-mlx, which can support maximum 8 GB of ram. I already have 4 GB & I want to install another 4 GB of ram, I want to know that it will be any problem if it contains 8 GB of total ram?Using Windows 7 64 bit?
Windows 7 32 bit cannot use more than 4 GB of RAM, and because of the installed hardware, it will use usually only about 3.25 GB.
If you are using Windows 7 64 bit, then you should be able to install an another 4 GB.
If he's going to create a problem will depend on what RAM you have now and what RAM you choose.
I go to the ASUS support site and look at the list of RAM recommended for your motherboard.

Which versions of Android application mobile Firefox is compatible?
I have a LG Optimus L (LS670 and apparently Android 2.3 version) and Google game shows the plug is not compatible with my phone.
LG Optimus S LS670 (from Nov. 2010) is of type ARMv6 old cpu (Qualcomm MSM7627) when an ARMv7 is required.
Mozilla seeks to be built ARMv6 of mobile versions of Firefox in the future, although while the phone has 512 MB of Ram (recommended minimum), the cpu is only 600 MHz (800 Mhz recommended).
In the meantime, you can try these unofficial versions of third-party ARMv6 at your own risk to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=25855563

According to the version of Firefox 3.6.24 Notes:
Operating systems* Mac OS X 10.4 and later
Minimum hardware requirements
* Macintosh computer with an Intel x86 or PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 processor * 128 MB RAM (Recommended: 256 MB RAM or greater) * 200 MB hard drive space
the MAC PowerPC G4 is supported. I tried to install this 3 or 4 times and it never moved. It acts like it is install but when I check the version I am running, he is always 3.6.23.
If he has problems with the update or the permissions then simpler is to download the full version and trash the version currently installed to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the file on the desktop disk image (dmg)
- Firefox 3.6.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
- Trash the present application Firefox to do a clean (re-) install
- Install the new version you downloaded
Your profile data is stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you will not lose your bookmarks and other personal data if you uninstall and (re) install Firefox.
